I think Gold knows random bits of German because Von Schlemmer will think in German while working and Gold is accidentally picking up on it with her powers

Like she just pops in to check on him because he's on an science spree and hasn't come out of the lab in awhile and boom

Was not expecting an entire episode long Hawkeye monologue but damn was that absolutely delightful! I’m a sucker for long monologue’s where they just let the actor do their thing, a solid bottle episode, and episodes solely or mostly dedicated to just the characters talking. What a delightful lil gem of an episode!

Wish more shows would take a chance on episodes with slow pacing and great character features like this more often. Some modern shows definitely still do this but damn if it isn’t less common nowadays and damn if I don’t really miss shows just in general being much slower paced. But that’s a personal preference and also very dependent on show and genre, but my do I love it when they do!
