speaking of dunking on popular things I have noticed that my two aventurine fics are beating the "smut always does better than everything else" and "angst does worse than everything else" allegations, which is really funny in light of all the "people need to stop prioritizing smut when they read fics" discourse LOL (which btw as a largely not-smut writer I think is silly lol... horny fics I love you)
