Hi everyone, just letting you know that I have a new sideblog called @wordweavingpotat and it is my writing blog!

I will be posting poems, writeblr stuff, and most importantly, updates on the fics I'm writing!!! So even if you're not in that fandom, I'd love it if you had a look and helped me get my posts out there!

I'm currently working on a Sidlink fic (Sidon X Link, from TOTK and BOTW). It's a modern highschool AU but it's still set in Hyrule. It's quite descriptive so I would bet that you could still read it even if you don't know what I'm talking about right now.

I will also post works with my OCs, and I have written about them before, so maybe I will share that.

I would LOVE writing advice, feedback and tips. Send me some constructive criticism. Sometimes I think it's better to get that than just "its perfect!!" because writing often isn't and I don't want to stay at the same level for ever.

But yeah, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do check in on it once in a while! Thank you so much!

Gonna write my first ever loz fic

It's gonna be a botw/totk modern day + human au

And uh

As I've started planning it out, I've come to realize that it's a whole Link/Harem fic

And I'm actually

Very excited for it

I've never written something like this

But going off the whole everybody's in love with Link thing

And Link sleeps around a lot (but like in a cute way)

But the actual endgame is Sidlink because that's where the story started

But also low-key trying to stop myself from making it Sidlink + Revalink because I was never really a Link/Revali shipper until I made them best friends in this fic and now I can't get enough of their dynamic akahaka

Might do a completely different fic that's Link/Revali or just an alternate version of my own fic that's got a Link/Revali endgame, idk 💀💀

So I'm just gonna have fun and do a do-over of the Breath of the Wild story with a twist. -------------------

Link always had the ins with the castle town family because of his father, a security guard with other 'talents', for the leading To'city family. Following in his footsteps, he soared through the ranks and quickly took over his father's position after his passing, despite the King's daughter, Zelda, resenting his seemingly given talent. This, however, gets no resolve after a tragedy strikes leaving Link comatose in a stasis state for 100 years. When he awakes again, the world's changed and he has no memory of what happened, who he was or any of his abilities... Or his family secrets.

Join Link as he slowly recollects all of his memories by meeting faces of his past- especially a bright eyed prince of the leading family of Lei'city; Link's hometown.

Once more turning my thoughts into a post, copy pasted directly from chat

I just thought of a horrible terrible wonderful idea

Heavily inspired by watching a Tears of the Kingdom playthrough

But

Lan Xichen being into Open World video games (because escapsim)

And especially Breath of the Wild because he identifies hard with Zelda (un-favouritism strikes yet again)

Lán Wàngjī learns the Guardian theme and plays it at inopportune times to absolutely terrorize his brother

Like he starts playing it while his brother is having tea and Xīchén full on panics and damn near drops his drink because aaaaaah

Sidenote: he interprets himself as Zelda and his brother as Link because oh wow repressed and (selectively) mute swordsman with great expectations on his shoulders? That's my baby brother alright

So he's definitely not zelink shipper

Lmao, he'd probably be a sidlink shipper because of how smiley and cheery Sidon is

Also he makes Link do absolutely hogwild shxt

Defeating enemies by blowing shxt up? First ideas on the roster

Listen he is in some ways living vicariously through Link, and some ways letting his little brother do crazy with no consequences

A pause. And then more ideas:

THE FIRST TIME WÀNGJĪ PLAYED THE PIANO OF DOOM WASN'T EVEN TO BE A MENACE HE JUST LIKED IT

Lán Xīchén got comfortable playing around his brother when he was sure Wàngjī wouldn't rat him out

And he heard the piano a few times while Xīchén had his headphones out

(Xīchén's main strat during that time was just to run away really fast because he hadn't worked his way up to all-out combat yet)

But Wàngjī liked the fast pace music and looked it up

Then learned to play it

Then

Once

While Xīchén was studying, he tried practicing

Oh boy

Xīchén dropped everything and did a full-on sprint

Mans did the dash and left

Nearly ducked out the whole house before realizing what happened 

And that is why Lán Wàngjī became a menace

And also why Xīchén began teasing him about WWX in turn

The left is just a ganon piece i did, the right is my Sidlink college au where they're both swim team captains from rival schools

Link is also captain of the archery club and is involved in p much all sports clubs he's like a star athlete and Sidon is the captain of the swim club and his father is the dean (ig is what you'd call it)

Sidon and Link are also t4t in the au and if you disagree you're homophobic😌😌
