A petite girl was seen running out of the Palais Mermonia in the Court of Fontaine. As she took off running as far as her legs could take her.

"...Miss Furina, I do hope you know the prophecy will come sooner or later. Even if Fontaine hasn't experience any deleterious flooding.. yet.. We must act fast to ensure all our citizen are safe and won't live in fear. Who knows how long till they believe in those 'rumors'"

The petite girl collided with the ground due to exhaustion. She began looking around, upon seeing no one, she felt a little relieved to see that no one had spotted her being in a mess from earlier.

..Well probably except for the Chief of Justice.

'..Way to go Furina, if he wasn't already suspicious of me, he definitely is now..'

As the girl slowly picked herself up from the ground and continued to wandered mindlessly, wanting to get her mind off things for a bit.

Furina strolled leisurely while admiring the scenery upon her. She usually doesn't have time to be curious and as carefree while playing the role of the archon.

'Where am I anyways? I've.. Never been out of the city before'

As Furina came across a sunny and bright view. Where the sun is beaming while waves crash into one another, accompanied by golden rocks.

Although it is an unfamiliar surrounding, Furina only felt comfort feeling the breeze of the atmosphere as she slowly trotted over to the sea.

'What is this place? I've never been here but it feels really easy to relax..'

As Furina slowly took in the sunlight and windy zephyr and sighed. If only she could adventure and explore the world even more..

Being lost in thought, the petite girl did not notice someone in the distance sneaking up behind her.

'..It's really hard being an ar-'

"BOO!"

"AHHH?!"

Furina out of instinct, quickly lifted her arms into a defensive pose to shield her from whatever is coming after her.

"Ahaha! You should've seen the look on your face."

As Furina slowly opened her eyes, she saw a unfamiliar [h/c] person with [e/c] eyes. Realising they were a fontainian, she immediately cleared her throat.

"What look? I was preparing to attack you, you're lucky I took the flight response or else I would've seriously injured you!"

Furina folded her arms looking really displeased with whoever scared her.

"Ahaha.. Sorry, you just looked a little bit depressed. Anyways, I'm [name], nice to meet you. Now, may I ask why such a beautiful lady was looking quite down?"

"B-beautiful?!"

"Mhm! I've heard my friends say that the hydro archon was really pretty. At this rate I might mistake you as them!"

[Name] looking quite content with their response, giving a close-eyed smile.

"Ahem! A-Anyways, to answer your question. I was simply dreading about my workload. I'm fine, don't worry about it."

"Oh really? Guess it isn't a big issue. I'm glad."

'They're glad? I'm just some stranger though, I'm not sure why they're that relieved..'

"So, how's the beach? Pretty relaxing huh? I usually come here after I run my errands."

"Oh.. So this is called a beach, I've never seen one my whole life until today. It really isn't that bad at all to spend a day off here."

Furina then turned her view back to the waves, wanting to treasure this moment before returning to her dull stage.

Suddenly Furina felt something. Only to turn to see [name] placing a rainbow flower in her hair.

"Eh?! What's up with the sudden flowers?! Forget that, how did you even get them?!"

"I did mention I run errands, and that is when I go flower hunting to find beautiful flowers to add to my garden. I decided to give this rainbow flower to you as a gift. It's fitting for a beauty like you~!"

"W-wha-"

"Also, just want to ask, do you work for the hydro archon? You called me a mortal, surely the hydro archon must've have cute colleauges!"

When Furina returned to her office in Palais Mermonia. She sat in her chair recounting her recent encounter with [name]. Hoping to see her again.

So she began having meetups with [name] more frequently. Of course, this caught onto Neuvilette's attention since Furina never leaves the city much. So he decided to follow her on one eventful day.

Only to see the archon with a mortal. He didn't know much about this other person that was with Furina so he decided to interrupt their conversation.

"Miss Furina?"

"Huh?! Neuvilette?! W-What are you doing here?"

"Well the hydro archon has been frequently leaving the city for quite a while so I wanted to check it out. Whose this other person you're with?"

"W-wait.. Furina?! You're the hydro archon?!"

[Name] stared in disbelief, immediately apologising for their rude behaviour towards her.

'Well there goes my identity.. Oh well it was pretty fun while it lasted."

You woke up and did all of your regular things! Good thing it was a Saturday so that you have nothing to do~ you went on nightcord to meet your friends! Well... Mizuki spammed @ you to get you to open nightcord.. you opened nightcord to get greeted by kanade,mafuyu,ena and mizuki happily singing the happy birthday song to you! You blushed from embarrassment "t-thanks you guys!" You stuttered shyly "guys!! What if we hang out to celebrate [NAME]'s birthday?" Mizuki suggested "well since it's for [NAME] I'll join" kanade agreed with a small smile on her face "really at 9 am?.. isn't it too early?" "Well not at this time ena!" Mizuki replied "how about 2 pm [NAME]?" Mafuyu questioned you "erm yeah!! Sure" you agreed with a big grin on your face she smiled in return.

It was 1:20 and you were getting ready for the hang out and you're pretty nervous for it.. so as you checked nightcord again mizuki was.. rambling about something.. maybe you come to the cafe right now!

You walked to the cafe and saw that mafuyu was already there! You quietly walked to the spot where mafuyu was sitting at "[NAME]?" She spoke with a little smile on her face "should we go around the city while waiting for them?" You nodded with as she smiled at you, while the others are still in their home, you and mafuyu were walking around scramble crossing with no objectives in particular and after a while you saw ena! She hurriedly run to you and mafuyu and hugged you, you didn't expect this kind of physical touch and you immediately felt discomfort and wanting to get out form this hug as fast as possible! "Ena.." you tried to get out of the hug she immediately released you guys and she laughed it off and then there was mizuki behind her!!

You were very happy but someone was missing.. "where's kanade?" Mafuyu muttered, the four of you looked left and right for kanade and gives up pretty quickly and just... Welll walked inside the cafe waiting for kanade! Couple minutes later you guys saw kanade walking slowly and looking very exhausted! You and mafuyu quick ran out of the cafe and went straight to the almost fainted kanade and carried her inside. You rested her on the chair and waited until she didn't look like she's exhausted anymore.. and then.. well you guys hang out in the cafe! What else do you want me to say? And then you guys happily hang out together~

A young girl was seen walking through the rain without an umbrella. Raindrops splashing onto her shoulders and head as she continued walking down the street without any care.

'..I need to head home' The girl thought, however her body did not move as she continued to stood in the rain as more drops splash on her, leaving her completely soaked.

'.. What am I doing..' She tried to forcefully move her legs into the direction of where her 'home' is, her mother must be worried sick especially since it was pouring heavily that day.

Due to the girl's dismay, her legs did not want to follow her commands. As she stood in the rain, alone, pondering on what to do next.

Only to feel the splatter of the rain on her head and shoulders coming to a halt.

"..Mafuyu?"

Mafuyu then turned her head around to see who was calling her name. It was familiar and not at the same time, however the case, she needed to put her 'good girl' persona back up again.

As she turned, she saw a familiar [e/c] orbs staring at her with curiosity, before beaming into a smile.

"Mafuyu! It really is you.. It's been so long since I've seen you." As they went and hugged her.

..Only why did it feel so stiff and cold? As the other person let go of Mafuyu.

"Ah.. Uhm, sorry to say this, but.. Who are you?" As Mafuyu took another look at them. It felt so familiar yet so unfamiliar to her.

"Ehh?! Well I guess it's because we haven't seen each other in years. Take another guess~"

As Mafuyu looked closely inspecting every detail on this person. Looking at their silhouette and how they said they haven't seen each other in years, it only could be..

"[name]?" As Mafuyu looked a little hesitant before blurting out their name.

"Oh? Finally remember me?!" As the other person looked really content on Mafuyu getting it right.

"Ah, I didn't know you would be back [name]. You didn't really send me a text about it."

"I wanted to surprise you~ Though it took you some time to figure out who I was."

"Ahaha.. Sorry, how was your studies abroad?"

As [name] was about to respond to that question..

"A..ah, sorry [name], give me a moment."

As Mafuyu took out her phone, she was a little hesitant on reading the message. Only to appear a little bit.. Terrified?

"Mafuyu? Are you alright?" [name] asked, looking concerned.

"Ah.. Yep! I'm fine.."

However before Mafuyu could reply she was on her way home, [name] gently gripped on her arm a little to prevent her from sending the message.

"I heard there was a nice cafe around here.. Mind showing me around? We could catch up in the meantime as well" giving Mafuyu a smile, although it felt reassuring to Mafuyu for some reason.

".. Sure. I could show you around and I would love to catch up as well" as Mafuyu put her phone away into her pocket, as she started walking. Only for [name] to grab her hand.

"..?"

"Ahaha, don't mind me, I get lost easily" [name] said. As they slowly began rubbing Mafuyu's hand as they walk.

Although Mafuyu doesn't realised it, she has gotten way too quiet for her 'good girl' persona and both were walking in comfortable silence.

"Here we are [name]. This is one of the best cafes I know around the area." Mafuyu said before stepping in with [name] following suit.

"Woah.. Its appearance on the inside is pretty cute."

"Hehe, probably because it is quite late already.."

Just as Mafuyu was about to leave the building, [name] grabbed her arm.

"I hope you don't mind but could we have a chat over some tea? I know it's late but I'll really like to talk with you since it has been years."

"...Sure" As they both went and sat near a table as [name] started ordering some items.

"How long will you be staying here [name]? Since you are studying overseas."

"Actually I'm back for good! I wanted to ask if it was alright if we could hang out more? Just like the olden days~!"

"..Give me a moment." As Mafuyu dug out her phone to read her messages. Her face was scrunched up a little before she could type out a reply, a hand was placed on top of her phone.

"I don't mean to be rude.. However, if it is fine. Could I answer the message?" You asked, hoping Mafuyu would comply.

Mafuyu nodded her head as she let go of her cellphone so you could take it over to your side.

Mom: Mafuyu? Are you coming home now?
