You want to know what I would throw my money at real fast, replica versions of the monster talismans. Spirit Halloween sells Clawdeen's moon claw necklace (the were talisman so natch I bought). If I had the slightest creativity in me, I'd find a way to make them myself.

I really appreciate that this episode has shown that Clawdeen's "Creepy Crawlies Club" didn't really take off in the human world and Clawdeen was the only member, I'm so hungry for characterization pieces that show her as a misunderstood outcast who's thriving at Monster High, where her love of the paranormal and spooky is celebrated and not shunned. Really shows why she would choose to stay at Monster High- because her monster classmates are the complete opposite of her human peers.

I also liked how Twyla was the one to help Lagoona, I think that it's very important to show kids (both ND and NT) that autistic people aren't just things like sensory issues, meltdowns and problems with interpersonal issues (though they are parts of some autistic experience), but that we can bring a lot of good into someone's life and be great friends, specifically BECAUSE of our autistic traits. I think that a lot of "autism education" things for kids I've seen focuses on things like "Don't be loud", "Forgive them if they say something inappropriate", "Meltdowns are normal", which is good, but the other side of this coin is also important, and it's crucial for kids to see what "good" traits people with autism (often) have, like attentivenes, eye for detail or understanding, so that they see their classmates or family members with autism not only as "these kids who need special rules around them", but also as potential friend candidates. Building bridges, you know?

Some redesigns I did of Twyla’s character in the new generation of Monster High. I really like how her character is written, it’s very rare I can find an autistic character in the media that I can relate to and Twyla feels very much like me. This new generation seems to be getting better with every doll and episode release. Anyway- enjoy these sketches there will in fact be a finished version I’ll post soon along with a few hobbies I think she participates in alongside her interest in history books.

P.S I read 60 wiki pages concerning academia aesthetics and any others linked to them just because I noticed her new look and personality was slightly based on academia.
