I´ve seen a lot of girlies making these and it has inspired me so much to discipline myself to make a whole year of dreams come true. Sooo...
My dream girl is a financially, emotionally and mentally stable woman. She just happens to be gorgeous. She´s highly educated and succesfull in both academia and her programming career. She´s constantly looking for ways to deepen her knowledge in art and science. She´s living by herself in a lovely and bright plant-filled apartment where something amazing is always cooking.
12 qualities/steps to become her:
She has a programming job
This month I´m working on my CV and sending it to land a part time data analyst job. I´ve come to realise I´ll need more money for the next steps and the experience will be worth it once I finish my major.
I´ll start journaling about this month soon!
She has clear skin/ beautiful hair
I´ve already saved for my long waited isotretinoin treatment. My acne is not terrible tbh but I want perfect looking skin so bad. I´m done with breakouts. I´ve already gotten an appointment with my dermatologist and he´s confident that I´ll only need around 6/7 months.
Also, I´ve already started my curly girl journey and its looking amazing, this month I´m investing in morehair masks, better conditioners and setting the perfect morning and nightime hair routine.
She´s fluent in 3 languages
My mother language is spanish. Also, I´m already certified in English and French but tbh my french is pretty rusty, this month I´m starting an online course to talk to native speakers and perfect my wrtting.
She´s an amazing cook
I have already started cooking for myself and my family but this month I´m making time for new recipes and getting some technical skills. My bf is totally up for doing this one with me!
She has a great body
I´ve been procratinating my chloe ting´s challenges. I´ve been doing a routine here and there but I haven´t made proper time to take cake of this. I´m looking to gain some weight and start getting stronger in my upper-body.
She´s skilled at 4 object-orientented languages, also Excel and SQL
I hope I´m already working somewhere for this. I´m going to start Data-camping and setting up a great github to prepare for a proper full time data scientist job.
She´s done with her Social Service.
I´ve just started my social service so I hope by this month I´m almost done. This will be a wrapping up my project, presenting article and lecture month.
She has finished her university classes.
By this month, I hope I´m almost done with the 9 courses I have left. So this will be all work, no fun, get that perfect score for your masters month.
She´s making some coin.
I´ve already started a small (tragically small) savings account. This month I´m going to be working in selling stuff and trying to get some investing knowledge
10. She has a beautiful smile.
If everything works by this point I will have saved up for half my braces treatment. I´ve long wanted to do this, I was hoping to get a loan for it but since Covid I had to pospone it. Now I feel I can get it with my own saved money (and parents help lol). So everything happens for a reason and even though I´ll be 23 with braces I´ll be 24 with a great smile.
11. She´s finishing her thesis
This! I´m already savouring the moment I can say, I´m through! By this month I will have more than a year and a half to work on my thesis so I can´t let a single week go without doing some advances. 2022 I can already feel it.
12. She´s mindfull
I have to work on my anxiety and depression every-single-day of my life. This won´t be the month of my mental health awareness. I want to take a trip with friends this month, when I´m done with school and some other family related stuff. I want to take a month to breathe before I start getting ready for my masters.
Steps to create her:
I have divided my steps into daily and eventual steps.
So daily:
Health related
1. Eating healthy: Different salads everyday, heavy breakfasts, no soda or processed sugar
2. 2.5 liters of water
3. Stretching/mild yoga routine
Beauty related
4. Washing face every morning and before bed. Doing skincare
5. Deep conditioning, braiding before bed
Career related
6. Work on thesis at least an hour everyday
My hour working on this is over so I´m going to leave it there.
