I feel like there's a lack of Kano x Reader where the reader is the polar opposite of him with being quiet, shy, sweet, etc and it can make the other characters question how the relationship manages to work out even if everyone doesn't expect that relationship to work out

Not only Kano from MK11 any villian that everyone identifies as an "unredeemable scumbag" to date a Reader that cries over having to kill a spider cause he/she/they don't have the heart to do that even naming the spider on the spot

I actually started this Shao Kahn piece a few months ago. It's been a slow process due to life. Other things consume your time as you age. It's not like back in the good old days when I had the patience and drive to complete a piece within a day. So, whenever I felt like it, I worked on this piece. It wasn't until this week I finally forced myself to finish it. Here is the result. Another Procreate piece with some editing in Photoshop. After playing around with lighting and how I wanted to present Shao Kahn, I think I'm satisifed with the results. I have never really attempted any Mortal Kombat arts apart from a Shao Kahn sketch. The original Shao Kahn will always be much superior to the newer design found in more recent Mortal Kombat entries. Nobody can play Shao Kahn like Brian Glynn, the actor who portrayed Shao Kahn in MK2 up to UMK3. Glynn is Shao Kahn. No denying it. Shao Kahn is absolutely ruthless as a villian in the Mortal Kombat series. He easily ranks among the top of video game baddies. Khan is easily one of my favorites and I remember as a kid how hard he seemed to beat. Enjoy.

Infierno is based off La Catrina, The sister and the wicked witch of OZ (the Disney version), Scorpion from Mortal Kombat and Ghost Rider. But mainly she takes more inspiration around Latin American culture and Romantic Goth!

She uses chains in Kombat (Where she is inspired by Ghost Rider and Scorpion)

She actually has a sparkling (who you guys will meet soon!!?

Where she mainly will be used at is TFP and Beyverse!!

She is a Terrorcon, in TFP she is still a Terrorcon but still works for the Decepticons (She is actually neutral between both sides). In ROTB she is portrayed as the anti-villian for working with the Terrorcons but she has her own reasons why.

And just for funsies I wanted to ship her with Predaking from TFP and meanwhile in ROTB she is shipped with a friends OC who is known as ‘Bae’

Kid-Stroke: a young boy, who for some reason, idolized deathstroke. He wears a non-armor version of deathstroke, & welds a katana & an orange gun. He’s a white belt in karate & has the basic gun safety stuff. His arch nemesis is Jake Grayson, who goes by Robin & FireWing in my universe. (Note, let me know if somebody owns the rights to Jake Grayson firewing & I’ll change it)

Cinderblock: A gangbanger name John “HardHead” Johnson (XD) is a teenage meta human who can harden his skin like concrete & able to launch “pieces” & balls of concrete materials. (Think of tremor from mortal kombat in terms of appearance & abilities) At full power, he can transform himself into pretty much the cinderblock from the teen titans show.

SoulFire: a rogue tarmanan who, like starfire, escape from slavery & decided to become a villain in revenge.

That’s it XD besides some teen titans villains, I already gave you some villian OCs. Soon I’ll be talking about the superfam & young titans if you want to ask me anything, let me know my question box is open for business :)

Cetrion only appeared in Mortal Kombat 11, so far and hopefully she appears again, but as a hero instead.

Like, Cetrion I feel would have been better as a hero instead of as a villian.

they tried to do so much with this game instead of splitting the plot and handling ,one of it in the next game, i was excited to see so many charas but the plot felt very hollow at times. on one hand we have characters being treated with some nuance like : baraka , mileena , sindel , reptile , kenshi + johnny. however , , , at the cost of a lot of things. like why was kronika & shang the villains again? we have so many mortal kombat villains ( onaga would have been perfect ) like …….. 🧍🏽‍♀️😔 i’m scratching my head bc while there’s a lot of cool ideas in the story it’s ….. there’s something not quite whole about it? also hanzo as a kid harumi raised is blowing my mind here like whaahhahahahahaha

no i agree. LOVED baraka, sindel, johnny & kenshi, MILEENA, etc BUT IT honestly felt very .... marvel movie. i DO sort of get shang tsung coming back to be the villian bc it addresses the ability to end the game & rewrite the timeline in the last game AS shang tsung, which like. cool ig. but it also feels SO??? AVENGERS ASSEMBLE WHEN LIU KANG IS LIKE LEMME JUST GET ALL OF MY FRIENDS FROM ALL OF THE OTHER APPARENT TIMELINES (bc apparently This timelines shang tsung would have thought of it but Not liu kang's shang tsung. okay. sure buddy. that makes perfect sense when we also think about how he thought about hopping timelines to fuck everyone over anyway.) like i am LAUGHING. (also. can they stop saying the fucking word 'timeline' can someone do a compilation.)

After my last Shao Kahn piece was well-received, I decided I had to do another one. 

I worked on this on and off over many weeks. I no longer have the motivation or time to do art in a day like I did years ago. I have other things going on so I tend to just let a piece sit for a while and then I go back to working on it when motivation or time allow. This week that finally happened and I was able to finishing coloring this and polishing it up.

I like the way this came out. I wanted to go for a different color scheme then my last colored Shao Kahn piece so I chose a purplish motif. Kahn is ready for a battle! No doubt!

I keep going to these parties with tons of people and every single time I wind up cornered by guys who have a really hard time talking to girls but will tell me every detail of their 40 fandom overpowered oc fanfics that they've never written a word of. This is the 4th occasion and this time I had all three guys dressed as anime characters all telling me about it simultaneously. I don't think it's a bad thing, but it does get annoying because I want to give advice that they don't want to listen to. Like, your mha villian protagonist oc doesn't need to use every single mortal kombat power simultaneously because wheres the tension. Deku is easily the most killable Shonen protagonist rn. You probably only need one.

FUTURE DREAMS S5 SCENARIOS : week three COUNT : 748 words  

still feeling down from his failure during his very first performance on the show, he tries his best to hide his nerves as he walks into their next interview. he is polite as he enters, greeting the staff behind the camera well and sitting down in front of the camera with a straight and proper posture. behind the camera a producer asks him, “where do you rank yourself with the other contestants this season?” and suddenly he’s feeling like his usual cocky self. everyone has bad days now and then, but wookjin knows he can perform. he had one slip up, he’s not going to let that define where he places himself. plus, performers are supposed to be confident. 

he knows where he is going to put himself, but puts his finger on his chin like he is putting careful thought to his answer. after what feels like enough time he responds, “i would say....i’m third.” he wanted to say one. even as he says it, committed to the placement, he wished he had put himself on top. “last week was not an example of my real skills, which i feel sorry for. while, there are a lot of capable trainees this season, but i’m sure of myself and my abilities against the other trainees. i know if all goes according to plan i will end this season a winner.” 

maybe it’s bad idea to be that arrogant on camera at the start. but he had to aim high. and if worse came to worst, he could be a villian this season and get a redemption arc by the last episode. maybe tee and max would let him do some cute stuff with them to get their fans on his good side. those two were adorable and talented, no way they wouldn’t have hundreds of voters by the first episode.

right as he started to think maybe piggy backing off of his close friends’ fame wasn’t the best way to succeed, he is posed with “in each of the three categories (singing, dancing, rapping) who would you want to face one on one with and why?” by the same producer. wookjin is a strategist, so he thinks about this a lot. training itself is highly competitive and knowing who your competition is half of the battle. it’s a lot like video games, knowing the other’s sides strengths and weaknesses is just as important as knowing your own. but, he’s also has more hubris than any trainee should and would face goliath with a stick just to show off. wookjin would take every single trainee on if could. make it like a mortal kombat, one trainee after another. 

he starts with dancing because it’s his top skill and he knows his answer instantly. dance is his focus, so it is something he keeps a watchful eye of when he observes other trainees. “i think i’m one of the best trainees this season in dance—” he says, void of any humility but genuinely. he has worked hard for years to become the dancer he is and won’t be shy about it. he’s sure he could beat any of the other male trainees. “but, son nabi [ @lgcnabi​ ] is probably the best.” he is reluctant to admit it, but her performance blew him out of the water last week. “i would like to face her and see if i could outmatch her.”

“in singing i would like to go one on one with han keeho [ @lgckeeho​ ].” “he’s a really talented performer and an excellent singer. even though he’s younger than me, i think he’s above me in singing.” which, he’s reluctant to say, but it’s the truth. even though him and keeho weren’t close, he’s seen a little but of what the other can do and was very impressed. it made the thought of beating keeho even more appealing. “i would like to prove myself against him.” he completes.

when he thought of good rappers, he thought of max [ @lgcxmax ] first. but he can’t see max as competition, even though he very much is. it’s max, his best buddy and maybe something more...no way they could compete. “for rap, i’ll go with tee [ @lgctee​ ].” “he’s one of my best friends and a phenomenal performer. it would be a real challenge to best him in rapping,” he says, which is honest, “but i never back down from a challenge.” he ends with a confident nod.
