The following is a work in progress. This contains some finished character art, but also contains storyboards and NO backgrounds.
All of the character art for my solo shots are completed (including a shot I collaborated on with @ickystyx). We're still working on the remaining shots, which will be handled by @ickystyx , @skullharestudios and myself collaboratively. Once this is all done, we're gonna see about producing the whole series in this animated comic format (we'll talk about that when the time comes!).
In the meantime you can listen to the entire series in radio play format, FOR FREE at megatongirl.com or for even easier access it's all on Youtube, here
If you wanna help the continued production of the show, you can support us on Patreon!
I feel like Splatoon 2 had a very “out with the old, in with the new” approach to a lot of things. So it’s quite interesting to me that one of Splatoon 3′s core themes seems to be “fads go in a cycle, actually, so here’s a bunch of stuff from the past.” Hopefully Deep Cut’ll get more chances to shine on their own once the nice little nostalgia trip is done, though ^^;
Simply known as "Henry," this Sangheili was a prisoner of war held aboard the prison ship Mona Lisa to be studied by ONI. When they began to test Flood specimens on the prisoners, ONI personnel quickly lost control of the ship.
Henry saved a human prisoner from an infected guard and they hid until Marines from the UNSC Red Horse found them. With the prison ship's destruction imminent, Henry and Sgt. Lopez fought over the last remaining escape pod. It is unknown if he survived.
I have mentioned a few times how the Groot 2015 miniseries is one of my all time favourite depictions of Groot as a character in any marvel media. So if you haven’t read it, can’t find a copy for yourself, or aren’t into reading comics, I highly recommend the motion comic adaptation by Joey Sourlis. The voice acting is great and you could tell a lot of love went into it overall. Criminally underrated, much like the comic it adapts.
I've decided to try to learn 2.5D animation in order to create a trailer for the comic. Here's the results of my first two days of learning! It's been pretty fun doing something new :D
Only Raven can kick her own ass! 😜 The story continues, new mini chapter coming out 3/31!
