Learning for Justice illustration for Southern Poverty Law Center magazine. The feature was about how community organising can help students in general, but in particular, immigrant students. The article talked about various had successfully implemented this approach and the client wished to reference the architecture particular to one of these communities, that of Mott Haven. Initially the commission was for an opening full page spread and 2 spot illustrations but due to time restraints the job was trimmed to just the opener. To our Pitorro Members, COVID19 has taken an extreme toll on our business, as most small businesses are experiencing during this time. Economically, we can afford to be open twice a week for bottle sales and to-go cocktails. Since this continues to be an uncertain time, we do not have a reopening date for bar, event, and tour services. Per Covid and New York State executive orders, Tours and Tastings will remain unavailable as we cannot provide bar service or have the public tour our distillery at this time. Tours and Tastings are projected to remain unavailable through 2020. Expired Tour & Tasting vouchers will be honored when we resume business.  New Hours of Operation ‼️ Fridays 3pm - 8pm and Saturdays 12pm - 8pm.
