SNEAK PEEK: Never Grow Up: Caregiver Rich (an Imagination Movers story)

Caregiver Rich It was night-time in The Warehouse, and Rich was tasked with putting you to bed.

The thing is, though, you weren't even tired:

Even if you did have an exciting day at The Warehouse.

"I'm not even tired: why can't Dolly and I stay up?" you ask, and Rich chuckles.

"Even if you aren't tired, you and Dolly still need your rest, darling."

You pout as you follow Rich to the room that was your bedroom whenever you stayed over at The Warehouse:

Nobody else was allowed to use this room because it was tailored specifically for you.

The walls were the shade of your favorite color, there were fairy lights across the ceiling, not to mention glow in the dark stars and the moon.

There were even books on your favorite special interests (such as dinosaurs), and it was just really cozy.

It was no secret that it was your go-to place whenever you felt overwhelmed.

After putting on your pajamas and brushing your teeth, you and Dolly got into bed.

having trouble staying silly so made a medium impulse purchase of a slightly higher quality reloadable point and shoot than the one i got a target which had some strange warping i didn't like (like worse than a regular disposable camera, somehow...the shein-ification of target i think) for the roadtrip. i'm so harrowed by losing that entire roll of musty and will smith (shark) that i cannot bring myself to commit to the om-1 so i'm hoping that getting to blow through a roll or two on the roadtrip has promise of enough joy to get me through the next two weeks��

After choosing a story (How Does A Dinosaur say Good Night), Rich sat down on the edge of the bed, and began to read.

Through out the story, you began to yawn and rub your eyes, but you were still determined to stay awake.

When Rich noticed this, he smiled.

He knew what would make you fall asleep, even if you (and Scott) denied it.

"Stay here, darling. I'll be right back."

When he left, you turn to look at Dolly, wondering what Rich's plan was.

You had no idea what Rich was doing, and when he returned with only a guitar, you instantly knew.

"That song won't work on me, Dolly, or Scott." you said, stubbornly.

Rich chuckles.

"Just give it a try, darling."

As he started the song, you started to get sleepy, despite your best effort to stay awake.

When your head hits the pillow, you closed your eyes, and started to go to sleep.

"Good night, darling. Sweet dreams."
