So ... This is absolutly random and unexpected but remember when I told you Destiny Harbour was a community story also? You might have noticed that I already mentionned @drosims and @s4simomo during the Simblreen special episode. Well, I thought about including some famous sims I love to see on my dash as well ... so Luna Fox and Bailey Kay were perfect for that ! I will certainly mentionned them later on the story (Des and Lee just discovered them and they are already crazy about them) .

So a mini recolor pack based on @helloavocadooo ‘s Luna Fox band and @ladybugsimblr‘s superstar Bailey Kay appeared in my mind and now here it is !

Un 26 de julio, pero de 1943, nacía el británico Michael Philip Jagger o como los mortales le llamarían: Mick Jagger. Cantante, compositor, músico, actor y sin lugar a dudas el rostro indiscutible de la mítica – y aún activa – banda The Rolling Stones, junto al otro inacabable y amigo de su infancia, Keith Richards, ha sabido mantenerse vigente a través de más de cinco décadas de vida artística, llegando a ser parte del salón de la fama del Rock, ganador de premios Grammy, MTVMAs y caballero del imperio británico.

Jagger y la banda, fueron sin quererlo, la contraparte a la Beatlemanía (quienes mostraban una imagen nada rebelde), todo gracias a la publicidad generada por Andrew Loog Oldham (publicista de The Beatles) ,quien se esforzó en preparar su imagen como “vándalos rebeldes” (y que a la fecha siguen asociados), compartiendo con el cuarteto de Liverpool el liderazgo de la “invasión británica” que llenó de rock a toda América, llegando los Stones bajo el brazo con la popularidad del single “(I can’t get no) Satisfaction” (1965), compuesto íntegramente por Jagger y que bajo ese riff de guitarra creado por Richards que lo vuelve identificable en cualquier idioma, terminó siendo toda una oda a lo que bien definió Jagger como el espíritu de los tiempos, pues en su letra discurría la inconformidad juvenil con el establishment, el cinismo imperante y la búsqueda del hedonismo con la libertad sexual que se enarbolaba: todo un himno anti status quo. Lo irónico es que Jagger termina abrazando políticamente el conservadurismo y es un declarado admirador de la dama de hierro, Margaret Thatcher.

No me alcanzaría un solo post para resumir la extensa y prolífica carrera de Jagger junto a los Stones; o cómo la banda cambió de integrantes sin dejar su binomio nuclear (Jagger/Richards); o cómo del blues y rock pasaron por el funk y el disco; o cómo Jagger fue adaptando el glam a su estilo y performance; o cómo la banda supo adaptarse a través de las décadas y sus exigencias peculiares para mantenerse dentro de la actividad y seguir llenado más estadios conforme envejecían; o cómo terminó siendo el seductor por excelencia, envolviéndose en muy comentadas relaciones sentimentales que alimentó a los tabloides de farándula; o cómo se formó ese mito de pacto diabólico firmado por Jagger para mantenerse tan envidiablemente activo y lúcido a pesar de las toneladas de sustancias que han pasado por sus venas… No. Realmente no alcanzaría.

Pero sí nos alcanza para extraer, de entre sus más de treinta discos (tanto en solitario como junto a The Rolling Stones) ese tema inspirado en la novela de Mijaíl Bulgákov, “El Maestro y Margarita” (1967), que trata sobre cómo Satanás visita e interactúa dentro de la sociedad soviética, iniciando así los surcos del séptimo álbum de la banda «Beggars Banquet» (1968). En la canción, Jagger interpreta a un misterioso personaje que se niega a identificarse pero que se arroga ser el motivo principal de toda la maldad humana a través de la historia, nombrando hitos históricos como la crucifixión de Jesús, la guerra de los cien años, el asesinato de la familia imperial Romanov durante la Revolución Rusa, estar en medio de la guerra mundial o incluso el magnicidio de John F. Kennedy; con lo cual, nos invitaba a tenerle algo de simpatía al demonio. Demás está decir que la canción, “Sympathy for the Devil” generó más que controversia, tildándose a la banda de adoradores de Satán tomándose como prueba de su blasfema esencia la nada santa conducta de sus integrantes, en especial, la de sus miembros fundadores.

Ese rumor había empezado con el título de su álbum previo: «Their satanic majesties request» (1967), el cual no tuvo ni un solo verso satánico entre sus canciones, puesto que era una mofa al texto de los pasaportes británicos: “Her Britannic Majesty requests and requires...”. Por si fuera poco, la canción fue asociada a la muerte del joven Meredith Hunter, un joven afrodescendiente de 18 años, durante la presentación de la banda en el festival Altamont Speedway Free Festival, un concierto gratuito que intentó emular a Woodstock pero terminó en caos y tragedia por encargarle la seguridad del evento a la pandilla Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, los cuales, en la actualidad, es considerada organización criminal por la justicia estadounidense. Hunter falleció por un altercado con los Hell Angels mientras los Rolling Stones terminaban de tocar “Under my thumb”, pero el rumor corrió como pólvora y por mucho tiempo, el tema que encarna el monólogo del regente de los infiernos fue considerado “maldito”, por lo cual, creyentes o no, la banda dejó de tocar la canción en vivo por casi veinte años (1971 – 1989), salvo en la primera fecha de la gira norteamericana de 1981.

Finalmente, aunque el tema ingresa en los anales del Rock, la canción, musicalmente hablando, no posee por completo el ritmo propio del género, sino que en complemento del discurso de este elegante demonio que, más que infundir terror, busca que entendamos su natura, la ambientación de la canción se remite a maracas, bongós y demás percusiones, generando un escenario tribal, de ritualidad e incluso, de invocación mágica que se mezcla con el solo que parece casi un jamming de Richards. ¿Podía ser menos? So, Brittany is hosting a sweetarts a capella concert next month. I think they're doing it to also lowkey promote PP3? Just like in PP2, Britt endorsed/promoted schick, which a sponsored brand in the movie. Also, do you think there are possible fall events/awards show opportunities to promote PP3?, just like they did with MTVMA, iHeart radio, CMT, Elle music, etc for PP2

Well the MTV Movie Awards happen in May/June so that won’t happen. There aren’t really any upcoming shows where PP3 could be involved. Most of those types of shows happen in the spring/summer.

I used to think that Tyler Posey looked like a young Tom Cruise (back in the early TW days at least) but after seeing his recent pics - especially the ones from MTVMA 2k17, Jane The Virgin and all those fan encounters - I definitely changed my mind. Now he looks like either post-botox party John Travolta or pre-rehab Macaulay Culkin

Or.. like an older Tom Cruise.

And I LOVE Tom Cruise.

I see no Bellas (except Hailee) in mtvma's confirmed presenters & attendees list, or am I missing the updates?! Uni seems less agressive this time arround to promote PP3, I think. So far only through sm and digital content. They haven't reach events and/or talk shows yet. I remember in 2k15, when Uni is about to face off Starwars, they began promoting Sisters since July, and teased it since spring 2k15. How bout this year on PP3 vs SW..lol

The host isn't part of the movie so why, no trailer to show yet, who checks this award show these days tbh.

(I'm not sure of the tone of this message tbh haha. Do you want the movie to make money (I don't) or do you just want to see the actors together or...? 😅)
