Dub sits down.

Kai: We don’t have to worry about paying our bills. Why?

Wade: Then why do we live like plebeians? I looked up that guy Nate you climbed with. He’s a Pierson**.

Kai: So?

Wade: The Piersons live like royalty. I ran across pictures of his sister’s wedding - an actual celebrity wedding. Bailey Kay** attended for Watcher’s sake. Why can’t we be like that?

Kai: Well, first off - we’re not celebrities.

Wade: I don’t want to sit around shoveling cow snuff all my life.

Kai: Shoveling cow snuff, running this farm, and your ma being a mechanical engineer is why we have our money.

Wade: But, dad - there has to be another way. Ma isn’t even happy with her job.

I didn’t realize that Dub had noticed that.

Wade: I want to do something different.

With lead dancer Keigo front and center, as always, the boys of Sugar Valentine are re-working the choreography for their song "Dream Garden" from their second album, Love in Living Colour.

Since they are fans of BK, and since the song also features butterflies, they thought it'd be a fitting tribute to work this signature pose into the stage performance of it for their upcoming tour.

I went uhhhhh pretty existential with my first attempt at answering this so let me try again and simply say yes! and give you some examples:

I can absolutely relate to Octavia’s world-weary pragmatism

I was an art school kid like Tyler, also a cutie in glasses 🤓

we’re still getting to know them but Cherry is funny but like in a mean way and uh yeah I do have that tendency especially as a teen oh lord

Seven Sins Challenge: Which of your OCs fits pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth. Then pass it on...

This is such a fun prompt! Thank you for sending this ask, my dear friend.

Gotta admit, it was a bit harder that I thought to choose, because my characters have a million flaws, but not really enough to call them sins. Still, I think I did them justice.

Pride: Piper Blue

Piper fits here for a number of reasons. First, as a lesbian, she’s always worn pride like a badge of honor. She knew who she was since she was a child, and she never looked back. But she’s also a proud agent, mother, sister, wife, daughter, friend, and aunty. She’s always been proud of the people she loves, and to be a part of their lives. In her line of work, she’s always the best in her field, and she knows it.

Greed: Octavia Coldwell

This one I didn’t even need to think about. All Octavia ever wanted was to have it all: the money, the status, the lifestyle… Everything about her, from her actual personality, to how she presents herself, it’s all calculated and orchestrated to earn her everything and more. In the end, she lost her family because of it. To her, it probably doesn’t matter that much. A complete narcissist, she cannot care about anyone, except herself.

Wrath: Felicity Blue

For years, Felicity looked for the people who took her parents away from her. Her anger, though justified, consumed her entire being. She could think of nothing but revenge. She didn’t get what she wanted, but she got what she needed: justice. However, it cost her a lot. It is still unclear whether or not she can get what she lost back. But, at least, her anger has been appeased.

Envy: January Storm

January’s envy is not what you think. All she ever wanted was to be ordinary. People around her were normal. They didn’t have to worry about perfection, or rules, not in the way she did. She found a way to walk away, though. It took a lot of bravery, but finally, she was ordinary. No cost would have been too high to get the life she wanted.

Lust: Brianna Navarro

Brianna likes women. She likes them a lot. But maybe, someday, someone will come to take her sinful ways away. Or maybe not. Who knows.

Gluttony: Alexis Newton

Alex likes cooking. But, most importantly, he loves eating what he cooks. His wife does not complain though. His specialty? Early morning pancakes with homemade whipped cream.  

Sloth: Fred Gillespie

Growing up in a wealthy family, it is no wonder Fred is not too interested in working. He always thought he’d just live off of his parent’s law firm, maybe find a low-level job there and inherit the rest. But life had other plans, and now, that is no longer an option. Who knows what the future will bring now, but he plans on taking the time to figure it out while living off the remains of his inheritance and the sale of the firm. If push comes to shove, he can rely on his big brother.

chipotle order? I actually don't go to Chipotle because they don't have cilantro (why??) or at least the one here doesn't. I do really love Salsarita's though, not sure if that's a regional thing or not, but it’s basically the same thing. I get a carnitas bowl with rice and black beans and pretty much everything else but jalapenos :)

7. what animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium? Penguins, always! They have so much personality! Thank you darling ♥
