help, im so confused by the cdc's official fibromyalgia page (seems to predate trump admin's changes). it's just... wrong?

lists fibro as a type of arthritis? it isn't? i can't find any other source that lists fibro as a type of arthritis. they can be comorbid, but they aren't the same thing. this is the most egregious one

says that fibro is can cause pain: "all over the body", "on one side of the body", "above or below the waist". Which is confusing, because fibro is by definition, multisite pain. It shouldn't manifest in only part of the body, it's diagnostic criteria requires pain in 4 out of 5 body regions (upper and lower , left and right, axial)

It lists x-rays as a way of diagnosing fibromyalgia, which i suppose could be used to rule out certain injuries, but i feel like injury pain would be pretty differentiable from fibromyalgia due to injury pain typically being localized? idk, it's a weird inclusion.

I mean, the symptoms and treatment sections seem valid, and at least it doesn't list trigger points as a diagnostic criteria, but while im no medical expert, to my knowledge these details just aren't true which seems concerning for the freaking cdc webpage
