At least 48 people in 24 states said they got sick after eating Diamond Shruumz-brand products, including chocolate bars, cones and gummies, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Tuesday.

One death is “potentially associated” with the outbreak and 27 people have been hospitalized, the agency said. People who fell ill reported severe symptoms like seizures, agitation, abnormal heart rates and loss of consciousness. The latest illness was reported Monday, FDA officials said.

Prophet Premium Blends LLC, of Santa Ana, California, recalled all of its Diamond Shruumz products late last month because they contain muscimol, a psychoactive chemical found in potentially toxic Amanita mushrooms that may be tied to the illnesses.

How did you get your biggest scar? i have claw marks on my right leg from when one of my cats was stuck outside during a storm and i had to carry her back inside, but we had to pass the dogs so she was screaming and yowling. my other cat thought she was being attacked and koala’d my leg unitl she realized it was me. there was blood. there was tears. my cat felt so guilty. 

What did you do today that made someone else happy? Uh, I’m currently letting Kass vent to me even though my anxiety is through the roof? I’m also going to go shopping for my mom. Idk, man.

howdy howdy! im excited to be here and would love to chit chat if anyone wants to get some things going. below is a lil something something about Simon to take a gander at if you’re interested.

▀▄▀▄▀▄ THE PAST ▄▀▄▀▄▀

✸ Simon was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. His mother was young when he had him so his father’s involvement in his life petered out before the age of five and he was raised primarily by his grandmother. His grandmother had been a hippie and his mother also brought him up in an alternative lifestyle. I.E. cloth diapers, alternative medicine, solstice celebrations.

✸ His teen years lacked guidance and Simon spent most of his formative years sneaking out and partying letting his grades suffer but he’d done enough mushrooms by this point that he realized he did not want to be another cog in the machine that was higher education. It was also during this time that Simon realized he was gay though never had a real defining moment of coming out. He’d suppose that his only coming out event would’ve been when his grandmother caught him on top of a guy as Natural Born Killers played in the background.

✸ After high school he moved to California, picked up bartending and promptly grew out of the state and west coast after honing in on his craft and moved to NYC for greener pastures.

✸ He’s currently working in a contemporary cocktail bar most nights making cocktails for the elite and trendy in NYC but moonlights at a barcade for quick under the table cash slinging beers. His roommate he’d signed his lease with had already given up on their dreams of becoming a broadway star and Simon filled his room with Casey Ellison. Casey’s only been in the apartment for two weeks so he’s still getting to know the guy but so far he’s paid rent without delay and has a captivating take on the Denver airport.

✸ CONFIDENT: Simon was raised to be unapologetically himself and while there’s been moments that have humbled him in life he has never sacrificed or compromised his self worth. Some find this to be an attractive trait and others find him cocky.

✸ EASY GOING: Sometimes to a fault Simon goes with the flow. He doesn’t sweat the small stuff (or the big stuff frankly) which keeps him flexible and open minded to most things. It’s rare for him to turn down an invitation to something that even remotely sparks his interest.

✸ NONCOMMITTAL: Being so go with the flow and a social butterfly it’s hard to tie Simon down. Simon fears life becoming stagnant for himself and constantly is keeping things fresh. This coupled with the fact he often stretches himself thin makes him a flakey person in life and hard to rely on except for a good time.

✸ INSCRUTABLE: Simon’s hard to read. He’s been known to hit it off with people and neglect to ever contact them again. Simon hates showing his vulnerabilities and is very much so aware of the image of himself that he puts out. It often leaves people wanting to get close to him confused about who he really is on a deeper level.

BEDROOM:

Simon identifies as homoflexible. He’s been with women in the past and will probably be with more in the future but his preferences tend more often than not to be towards males. Simon identifies as a true versatile so it really depends on the dynamic he has with his partner regarding the position and role he takes on in bed. He also might be a little kinky. I’m not saying he has a toy chest in his closet but he definitely didn’t learn how to tie knots from boy scouts if you catch my drift.

VICES:

He’s indulged in a little of everything at some point. These days however he leans more heavily towards marijuana and alcohol with the occasional psychedelic. It’s rare for him to not have his vape close by or a drink in hand in a social situation.
