First song youtube took me to: Contagion

First Impression: i expected metal because it’s you and yeah. it’s metal

Do I like it?: yeah, solid. not scratchy vocals, nice sounding music

Would I listen to more from them?: so ‘cause i used two songs for the other unknowns i looked into one more for them, When All is Said and Done. voice was a bit more rough in that one, not as big a fan. seeing as that one’s older and Contagion’s newer it may be a voice wearing out or looking after it more

9:A song that makes you happy

I very recently heard Hot To Go for the first time and that one kicks ass, it's so bouncy and fun I love it! I also listened to Good Luck Babe right after because I remembered you mentioning it and it's semi-permanently stuck in my head, which kinda makes me happy because it's linked to you in my brain (but also "you're nothing more than his wife" god damn I'm always thinking about that)

Also Sugar by Maroon 5, because I can vividly remember like, a decade ago when it was on the radio while I was volunteering and I was just starting my transition and I was blogging about yugioh all day and night so happily. It's like, weird to see how long ago it was and how much stuff has changed, but that kid is still in there and we're still happy c:

Pretend you don't notice these are all from one album I discovered when I was like 16

I really like The Cab cover of Disturbia, it just sounds way more crunchy. A Static Lullaby's cover of Toxic (my sister also loves Britney so sshh don't tell her). A Day To Remember's cover of Over My Head, I don't usually like screamy stuff a lot but this one really does it for me. And I gotta say Dan's cover of Time Stand Still again because it is that stuck in my brain.

30:A song that reminds you of yourself

I think I'm gonna say Danny Don't You Know by NSP. Not to be corny or anything but, I can kind of vibe with a song about the idea of appearing to your younger self and saying "hey bud, it's not quite what you imagined but it's worth sticking around for, we're gonna be okay c:>". I think if you're young and going through it, it's nice to imagine a version of you who comes from the future to tell you it's gonna work out.

Also Hot by Avril Lavigne, because I can remember listening to it walking home from school and thinking "wow! this sexual attraction sounds neat, can't wait to experience it :3". Dumbass asexual moment lol

Least Favourite Song: Let’s Not Go Away. i’m just not interested in it and i’ve no other reason to like it

Favourite Album: Scouting For Girls, purely because it’s their first and it’d be played a lot when i was younger so it’s the one i know the most. and most the songs are decent to me

Least Favourite Album: The Trouble With Boys. don’t really have a reason for it. again, of the ones i know

Song that got me into them: they’re one of the 3 bands i’ve always known about from what i remember. my earliest memory to do with them is based around She’s So Lovely, so i’ll say that. i couldn’t say “lovely” right as a twerp so i’d say “lubbery” instead and i got it thrown in my face whenever it came on around my relatives. and now i’ve made the smart decision to share that online. i’m doing great, ain’t i?
