Listen. I love iroh. I need him to lose because there is no way he should be winning a blorbo poll because blorbos are characters i would put through a blender and smack with a brick for funsies and id rather die than do so to iroh

I think we're limiting ourselves on what a blorbo can be. To me a blorbo is a favorite guy (uni) from a piece of media, particularly from a show (as depicted in the original coinage, "blorbo from my shows"). Sure you can put them in a blender if they're an evil/morally ambiguous character but you can also place a beloved meow-meow blorbo in a terrarium with lots of light and food and water.

I want to shake him like a snow globe, put him in a blender, shove him in a microwave, and then swaddle him in blankets. My biggest comfort character ever honestly I’m obsessed with him.

Fandom bicycle because he’s in a poly relationship with Able and Yori, Yori and Flynn, Flynn and Ram, exes with Dyson and whatever the hell he and Clu are. Also I know more about them than the creator because we were given nothing and he belongs to the people now. He’s my silly little guy that I can put through the horrors.

(Yes that’s the baton for the Ecom cycle he has that Tron definitely gave him)

Able beloved. I think he had so much more potential both as a character himself and his relationships with other characters like Beck and Tron. Would have also loved to see an Able and Cyrus face to face interaction past or present. The whole sacrifice thing could still have worked I guess but I feel like it would have been better in future seasons (if we had got any).

Also wish we had gotten more flashbacks pre coup I would have loved to see young Able. Getting to see the reason why he was on thin ice with Tron and then getting to see that dynamic play out further even after he supported Beck being with Tron would have been interesting. I think it would have been cool to see an Able challenge Tron’s ideas instead of just Beck as the uprising/revolution grew.

Able and Tronzler are my biggest I would save them from the narrative characters for sure.

SHE'S CUTE AND A SWEETHEART and I only want the best for her (Very excited for where season 2 will take her) but also a lot of my more in depth Blorbo Feelings are shut off because I don't want to put the small child through a blender like I do my other faves.

Also I almost hit everyone is wrong about her but me only because I have slowly realized that huge portions of fandom think she's a cis girl and I call Shenanigans on that. Also since I already brought up trans Omega let me just say that trans Croshair should also be more of a thing, because he is my favorite and he deserves it.

So I picked Fives because I'm probably the most Unwell about him and his entire plotline. The fact that he can get me feral in both the Umbara arc AND the whole chip arc. Exquisite. What a perfect man. It's so great that he's fine and nothing bad happened to him (let me live in this perfect world where Fives is fine and he can be with Echo, pleasepleaseplease.)

9. Write a recommendation for someone else's fic you enjoyed oooh i'll talk about one i finished reading last month! Subject One by DancingKirby was a really great read. it fleshed out the arcadia movement and aki's relationship with divine and acts as a sort of rewrite of the dark signer arc. if you do decide to go read it do be aware that abuse is a major topic in the fic, though.

What's your favorite thing about the YGO fandom? for the most part everyone is pretty chill and nice! i've found my own little niche community inside it and met some cool people to talk about OCs and headcanons and how we want to put blorbo from card game show in a blender. since i mostly interact with other spinoff fans things fairly quiet but that's fine. it's better than the constant drama of big fandoms.
