Rescued jaguar fishes bottle out of pool

This beautiful male jaguar was rescued from the black market when he was just a cub, so he had to be raised at a Wildlife Refuge, and won't be able to be released back into the wild, unfortunately.

He used to love to swim, but now he doesn't go into the water anymore. We were trying to convince him to, while he was in the enclosure's switch area, and he became obsessed with a water bottle we were carrying, so we decided to give it to him, putting it in the water, in the hopes that he would have to get in to fetch it. Well, he managed to fish it from the outside, but he had fun with it regardless.

The bottle serves not only as a toy but also as environmental enrichment, providing neural and physical stimulation in order to reduce stress and improve his well-being.

The illegal wildlife trade is the third most valuable illicit commerce in the world, losing only to drugs and weapons. That, along with loss of habitat by deforestation, fires, etc., results in an enormous amount of animals in need of rescuing.

Only 1 in 10 animals survive trafficking! Do not support the pet trade! Animals should be free!

Weeeeeeeeee. A few weeks I had massive brain rot (caused by the bätmän and jokerman stuff) so I commissioned @ajitanparmesan and oh boy oh boy did they deliver, am so freaking love.

Like look at him, look at my pretty boy (yes I asked for jure to be put in the iconic catwoman suit). Am squealing and happy sobbing ever since receiving him. They absolutely outdid themself. All I told them was jure in the 1995 catwoman suit (made to fit him) and the whip, and that his fluffy hair was visible, and look how they worked with it. Like Holy! Freaking! Shit! Am so in love it’s insane. Look at the shading and detailing 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻. Best money I ever spent. So worth it. Working with them was fun and great. Like look at him, he’s freaking beautiful and I will be thinking about him for a long long time.
