there was debate about anakin's hair colour?

haha yeah i guess less of a debate and more just a lot of discussions and strongly held opinions which i can respect

biggest take away for me was i got an ask like a year and a half ago that basically said that in fics where anakin is blonde he bottoms and in fics where he's brunet he tops, which has had a huge impact on my fic writing tbh

now i consciously switch up how i'm describing anakin's hair color in relation to the sex dynamics i do not want to be so predictable as 'assigned bottom at blond hair' i never cared before and i don't care much now either what his hair color is but i change it all the time from fic to fic. gotta keep people on them toes!!

(it's this series of fics where, get this: Edward Elric adopts a baby Harry Potter. It's surprisingly good and unphantomably long, not to mention ONGOING with currently 20 fics and over 600k words-)

Edit, I originally said 600k words. My fucking bad for not checking but um

... Wish me luck cause I have a rule to not read fics over 100k words long cause I don't have the attention span to 😃

it doesn't make me uncomfortable!! i fucking love fate's favourites and i have like. completely divorced the dsmp characters from their creators so we're good. i just feel WEIRD writing it because i haven't seen beeduo irl interact in so long so my understanding on how to write them goes way back to like. 2021 when they stayed together. which is obviously not the position they're in now!!

but i definitely want to finish this one because a) i have a diskduo-focused sequel in mind, b) i love fate's favorites!beeduo and c) YOU GUYS NEED TO SEE THE PLOT TWIST. I NEED YOU GUYS TO GO INSANE WITH ME OVER THIS. THE PLOT TWIST IS CRAZY PLEASE I CAN'T STOP WRITING UNTIL YOU GUYS KNOW IT

Sometimes I really want deltarune chapter 3 to come out not because of the excitement, but because I miss the people who made chapter 2 so great. I just miss my favorite ol' mutuals who left after the deltarune chapter 2 excitement died down y'know? :(

Honestly very sad that I didn’t know about The King’s Affection as it was airing. It’s really my ideal story. I’ve always been a huge fan of historical romance stories and this is a beautiful example on top of just overturning so many heteronormative tropes AND having a beautiful fallible strong female lead who I absolutely love with all my heart. But it’s been so long since it aired I can’t really share my excitement with anyone online now that everyone’s moved on.
