Things Neil Gaiman said about our ineffable husbands that make my heart skip a few beats:
- this is a love story
- they like holding hands
- they held hands in season 1 (he let us figure out that it was on the bus)
- it’s implied that Aziraphale stayed at Crowley’s apartment the night after the No-pocalypse
- this is a love story
- roughly 4 years passed between s1 and 2
- they will have a cottage in the South Downs at some point
- shoemaker-cum-obstetrician
- he called Michael and David ‘my boys’

people don’t talk about hilda (from the netflix show) enough and how absolutely insane she is. and by that i mean how she takes the Traditional Hero trope to the absolute extremes. she is filled with overwhelming whimsy; adventure is drawn to her like a goddamn magnet and absolutely NO ONE can stop her from pursuing it. and if they even try to get in her way then fuck them. this kid’s normal tuesday means possibly dying multiple times and fighting The Horrors. everyone around her is concerned for her and the unstoppable magical girl powers that she wields but she absolutely WILL be a little shit about it because she was pulled from her whimsical littol cottage in the woods where she played with trolls and forced to move to fucking Normal Non-Magic Town. turns out going to Normal Town is only a minor setback and soon she’s back on the befriending magical creatures (a GIANT TALKING RAVEN) grind. she’s so Magical Girl Protagonist that even her own mother is terrified for her.
put simply: hilda subverts the magical girl trope in such a way that makes her a threat to normal society. and i love her for that

I work at a cat shelter and the most fun part is when we get unnamed cats brought to us since I can think of goofy names for them. A while back we got a litter of five kittens who ended up getting named Kira, Jadzia, Miles, Odo and Sisko. They all found a home when they were very little, but no one wanted to adopt Sisko for some reason :(
BUT TODAY THAT CHANGED! AND YOU WOULD NOT FUCKING BELIEVE HOW THAT HAPPENED.
Two people came in with a small list of cats who they had been looking at on our website, and one of them happened to be Sisko, so they were sent into one of the cat rooms to sit around with the cats and see with who they clicked the most. They came out of the room 100% sure that they wanted Sisko and also ended up asking why Sisko had that name, clearly with some sort of motivation behind that question, and upon finding out that he was named after a DS9 character it turned out that THEY ARE ALSO DS9 FANS (well, one DS9 fan and the other who said as a joke that they "tolerate" it) AND THAT'S WHY THAT CAT STOOD OUT TO THEM THE MOST. SISKO FOUND A HOME IN A DS9 LOVERS HOUSEHOLD AND MAINLY BECAUSE OF HIS NAME. WHAT ARE THE FUCKING CHANCES.

Not that I will be over David talking about the GO 2 kiss anytime soon, but I find it really interesting that his and Michael's kiss was awkward for other people, but not for them.
We know David has kissed countless men (on and off screen), and Michael hasn't shut up about snogging Stephen Fry in 25+ years, but it's this kiss that seems particularly unique to both of them. Because If it was just any other "work kiss" or something the crew had seen a million times before, it wouldn't be nearly as noticeably awkward. Which tells me that this was normal for Michael and David, but not for the crew. That there was something about it that was a real kiss, and that was what others were picking up on...

there is something so precious and saddening with the way aziraphale touches crowley and the reason is really as simple as wanting to love like a human.
an angel, who has repressed his emotions and pleasures to serve God, ends up finding the desire to feel mundanity: from eating, oh those delicious meals, to craving the skin from his most loving sin crowley, so many decades, hundreds, thousands of years on earth and, what do these two find the most fascinating? exactly, human love. however, it seems that aziraphale has found something so enchanting about human touch.
that's why every time he finds a moment, he delights himself by touching crowley, caressing him, holding his hand and grabbing his shoulder. it's not a simple act of love, it's the fact that he recognises his deep love for crowley with those actions because, curiously, he doesn't touch nor lets him be touched by anyone else who is not crowley.
yet crowley seems to restrict himself from touching aziraphale because he knows what it could cause and always composes himself - which contrasts with aziraphale's character. even so, this doesn't happen with their dance. for the first time, he reciprocated that act of love to the point he ached for intertwining his fingers with aziraphale. however, what crowley didn't know is that he woke up on aziraphale a more carnal desire with that first and last kiss.
two acts of love melt at the same moment.
aziraphale could live being the one who started physical touch but, how is he supposed to continue with his existence knowing that he has tasted something more pleasurable, more intimate such as crowley's lips? feeling crowley's mouth on his in a desperate act to which aziraphale could only reciprocate back with poor attempts of slow caresses.
how is he supposed to be a supreme archangel if he can only think of crowley touching him for the first time in millions of years? if his fingertips unconsciously run his lips to recreate that kiss? is that the human love he always read in his books?
that's when he realized that human love is more than just a mere act. it's like the flames of hell took over aziraphale's holy self and burnt him with no pain because, definitely, there is no sweeter innocence than their sin.
if nothing lasts forever, then just touch me once more. kiss me once more so i don't forget how your skin had once felt on mine. just like real people do.
