Sometimes I think about the first Doctor pre An Unearthly Child and I'm like. I’m going to ask your stance on this, because you were the one who started this discussion 😊 Enji being a busy man and working most days, but not having days off often don’t mean he has no time for his kids right? I think you should go read my reblogs on my page to see what so mean but @erasurecloud spoke about the panels meaning it was obvious that Enji doesn’t get days off a lot and that means he doesn’t have time but I don’t think that means he has no time it’s just limited! It just means that when he does/did get those one rare days off it meant his time with his kids was more special or at least could have been 😅!

Well I went and read your discussion/reblogs & answers between each other, and I just say that I think you both made valid points - with Enji being a busy man/Enji clearly also having days off! You know they’re definitely correct. Enji was a busy man, and it’s very likely that he definitely didn’t have many days off. And like they said in that panel:

The way it is phrased does give off the idea that Enji doesn’t get a lot of days off or very often. Which would make spending time with the kids hard, but definitely not impossible or not an option! 

However, I definitely think you're not wrong either in your statement here - “Him not having a lot of days off or not having them often, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have time, it means his time is limited!” Agreed 🙌  he was a busy man, and his days off may have been rare or not very often, but he did have days off and that could have been his chance to spend time with his kids. Because like I said above, sure it would make it hard, but not impossible. Enji quite literally could have spent time playing with Touya and the other kids, forming a new hobby or whatever on that rare day off he got. To use my father as an example: he rarely ever got days off, sometimes his job would take him out of town/country, but when he did he always made sure to spend it with me and my brother. I definitely don’t think that spending time with his kids was not an option, it was an option he could have taken but either way I think you both made a valid point! Also I do stand by my "everyone interprets fiction/fictional characters differently" and I think there is one thing all three of us can agree on, and that’s Enji Todoroki has some big ass tits! Is that relevant to the discussion? No but did I say it anyway? Yes yes I did! 

P.s I’m not sure how I started this discussion. I said my piece to that anon, Erasurecloud responded and then you went and spoke to them. I mean I guess I did bring up the idea of him spending time with his kids but still you chose to further it!
