#shadowbelly #roachshade #lakeclan #warrior cats #warriors oc #hidden lore #i found out today that the man who basically was a second father to me passed away and i guess this mindless doodle was a way for me to cop #some pond lore for you: my dad was an addict when i was growing up and he didnt always know how to properly deal with that #and also be a parent at the same time when i was visiting him + he was in an abusive marriage #so when things were just really bad he would take me to the house of my 'aunt' and 'uncle' who very much helped raise me and take care of m #i have very fond memories of them #and my 'uncle' actually made sure he got a motorcycle so i could ride with him specifically at my dads own memorial ride #he had since stopped riding bikes but it was important to him that HE be the one i ride with because ive ALWAYS been like his fourth kid #he also is the only adult on my dads side that i came out as nonbinary to #i didnt even have to come out he just asked if i was trans/nonbinary and i said yeah and he just said cool ill always love you #idk they think his death was sudden like a heart attack or something but we wont know till after today #my 'aunt' is letting me keep some of his ashes in a necklace so i can have one for both my dad and my “dad”#ill be okay but it just feels really strange right now #we didnt see each other much after i grew up but he made sure i knew that if i ever needed anything i only had to ask #doesnt seem fair to lose two dads in less than three years but i guess it is what it is

Still packing stuff and now i'm looking for a box for this.

My dad and i made it a few years ago for halloween, probably 2015/16 if i'm remembering right. It's made from a lays can, a wipes container from his work, and paper maché. I don't remember what the wires and front metal bits are from, but the middle actually lights up! It has one of those long battery-powered emergancy lights in it and some colored tissue paper

#lee rambles #I gotta fix the metal bits on the front #they keep coming out of place and drooping down. maybe some hot glue'll work since i don't want to melt the styrofoam under the paper #I went as Chell that year #with a shitty handmade Aperature Science shirt lol #Also as a sidenote since i'm already talking a bunch in the tags #I have no idea if we're actually going to be able to afford to move or not #so we're kinda thinking about staying where we are and seeing how things go over the next few years #i know it's in my dad's will to sell but with how expensive rentals are i doubt we'd be able to afford 2k+ a month on top of our other bills #I just hope my Uncle doesn't give us too much shit about it. We didn't get much from the life insurances he had #definitely not enough to live on for long on its own #but 800 a month for the house is a lot more doable than 2000 #we don't want to end up having to kill ourselves working just to make ends meet. That's probably what would happen if we moved #i dunno #just... thinking a lot about the future. I honestly hope we stay #It'd get rid of a lot of stress if we stayed. We'd still get rid of a bunch of things but... it'd be easier.#We weren't even really allowed to grieve. once the funeral was over we just had to start packing our lives away.#i'm a little bitter about it really. They've gotten to grieve and be away from the situation. We've had to be there the whole time.#We might've all been there the day he passed but they weren't there for his bad days. They weren't there helplessly watching as he slowly #got more and more tired. and sick. and depressed.#I don't know what we're going to do.#I didn't mean for this to turn all venty. sorry about that if you've read this far

feeling incredibly weird and not good.. my mom sent me a message saying to call her when I get a moment and from that I just knew it was bad and someone has died, I was right.. my aunt passed away last night and it doesn’t feel real.. she has no health conditions and was only 41, she died of a heart attack. the paramedics said it was over quickly for her so she didn’t suffer, they knew this because her body was relaxed, her fists weren’t clenched. my cousins are only young teenagers, the youngest one found her but didn’t realise, she thought she had fallen asleep so it was only when my uncle got home two hours later.. he called my mom, his sister, for help. I wasn’t really super close with her but she was always smiling when I saw her, and always asking with such enthusiasm what I’m up to and how I am etc.. it just doesn’t feel real to me because she was so young? and had no known problems with her health.. hmm. ok

#I mostly just feel for my uncle and my cousins right now #she and my uncle were so alike and clearly loved each other dearly and like.. my grandma/his mom passed away earlier this year too..#and then my cousins.. they’re so young. I remember babysitting when I was a teenager a few times ….#and for the youngest to find her mom like that but just think she’s asleep .. to not try to wake her for whatever she wanted because #clearly she thought hmm my mom deserves to have a nap or whatever the fuck like…#I feel so weird and off. it hit me hard when my mom told me (crying a lot) and now I don’t know if it’s fully sunk in for me or what but ..#hmm. ok yeah .. alright.#a
