Top 3 favorite oxventurer headcanons???

It only comes up briefly, but it's said early on that Kasimir comes from a family of criminals? In my head, his parents were grifters, and Kasimir was the scion of the family, the one who was going to do the Best Crime and sucker people the most. There are repeated suggestions that Kasimir failed to thrive or was done wrong by life/the consequences of his own actions. I really like to think about Kasimir as a Favorite Son who failed; it brings him closer to Edvard and Barnaby, who easily fit that same mold, even though Kasimir would say he's the most like Zillah, who's Just Some Fuckin Guy.

I have this whole batshit theory that Deadlands is set in the same continuity as Dread. They're both set in an unspecified part of the American Southwest in a culture where monsters exist but are only known to some people (Edie, Eric), they're both horror stories about some people who are normalish (Killian, Madison, Silas, Delacy) and some people who are better than human (Nate, Edie, Garnet, Brad). It's more of an "I just think it's neat" theory than an actual statement about canon, but I have so much more fun with the former than the latter.

I sure don't remember if the Shining Lady and the Poor Man boning down is canonical but those fools bone

So when they reach their ship, and Six immediately drags Edwards off to knock him out and/or tie him up, and he is met by Diana with a tentative celebratory smile on her face, he can only do one thing, really.

47 acts on his instincts, pulls her into his arms, and kisses her.

Diana lets out a soft noise of surprise, before her arms wrap around his waist and she melts against his torso, safe in his embrace.

I looked him up, and he is super adorable and chill, so I'm totally doing this🍑 as for gender I'll leave that up to whoever is reading this😅

(Lmk Wukong) You are the most beautiful creature he's ever seen, not to mention you look completely like a tasty peach. His he hearts in his eyes and would chirp actively at you, making you giggle and blush. Wukong and you were inseparable always seen together laughing and playing and floating around the mountain. You love to make him peach baos and your other peach based recipes, not to mention growing peach trees on flower fruit mountain. You became Wukong's whole world, as he continuously adores you.

(MKR Wukong) He felt his whole world freeze upon seeing you for the first time seeing you. You looked like a large adorable peach and you also look like a bigger monkey version of a heaven peach, and he couldn't get enough. You were so easygoing and incredibly chill, which works well with Wukong's short fuse. You teach Wukong relax and make sure he eats properly making peach baos and other meals for him to eat. Wukong would blush slightly at your kind peaceful smiles, and deep down Wukong loves and appreciate everything you do for him.

(NR Wukong) Ohhhhhh what a tasty looking peach you are, would you let him take a bite out of you😉? You had a huge blush he asked you that as he flirted with you in a bar he met you at. Wukong calls you his sweet peach all the time and finds it adorable how you would float away, and get all shy. Wukong loves to invite you to have drinks together and enjoy your sweet tasty peach baos, and chat all night. He would coo over you and pull you close to him, and kiss your face making your blush more as the night you both met.

(HIB Wukong) He thought he was tripping when he saw you for the first time, and once he found you were real he had a huge blush. You were so kind and caring to both him and his children always helping them out, or offering some fresh ripe peaches. You would show great concern for Wukong when he gets stressed or upset so you would always come check on him, with peach tea and a listening ear. Sometimes Wukong would crash out a bit and cuddle and sleep with you under your peach trees, you also take this time to steal kisses on his sleeping face.

(Netflix Wukong) They say the best way to a man's heart is though his stomach, and that's exactly how your marriage came to be. You have met him when he was raiding your peach tree, and it was annoying at first but seeing him with his cheeks stuffed it was cute. You remained patient and kind to him as you would continuously made peach baos for him to gorge on. You would also give him peach drinks, and pies for Wukong to come and eat and he would have heart eyes for everything he ate. Wukong also loves to take naps on your lap under the peach trees because you put him in a food coma, yeah he's not going anywhere for a long time....🥰

(BMW Wukong) You're the most heavenly looking monkey peach he's ever seen, and he wanted you immediately. Wukong got to work at trying to win you over with stories of his many accomplishments, treasures, and endless supply of rice wine. It was cute of him to try as you relaxed next to him and sharing your freshly made peach baos. Wukong would come by you peach garden every day, to spend time with you so much so you grown use to his visits but you never mind him coming by in the first place. You just wish he would give you a heads up.

(Destined one) Deep down the Destined one thought you were adorable and so easy to hang out with, which made it easy for your relationship to bloom. You both would spend quiet days together having walks down the empty roads and having picnics where you both would have peach tea and your famous peach baos. The Destined one loves spending all his free time with you and your compassion for others. He loves and adores you endlessly and may you both continue to have quiet days.

(Lotmk Wukong) Wukong loves to help you in your peach tree garden, especially when you grow some on flower fruit mountain. You and Wukong would have many dates under the newly grown peach trees, and he loves when you make peach baos for him. sylus thoughts

i'm sure other's have thought about this but at least for me you can not convince me that sylus covering mc's eyes in the nightly rendezvous banner wasn't because he lost control of his ability to mask his dragon features.

especially now that infold slightly confirmed that he still has his wings, and with what the little girl said in the main story line, who is to say that he doesn't have all of his dragon features that he had in his myth but is better at concealing them in the present timeline.

but when he's aroused or sick or absolutely fucking pissed who else is going to say those features don't slightly reappear.

and even though when mc and sylus meet again he tries so hard to make her remember him, as their relationship develops he pulls back from rushing her memory. he also cares about her so much that he probably doesn't want to overwhelm her so instead of being selfish and revealing his true form he protects her from being overwhelmed at that very alarming piece of himself (at least he thinks it's alarming but knows past mc looked past his monstrous dragon form).

so he covers her eyes, tries to regain his control but can't help to indulge in the moment with mc.....
