"icarus imagined himself to be the stick of a candle, the wings to be the wick, and the sun to be the flame. for a small time, the wick would burn. the candle would be alight, shining brilliantly, lighting up the space for as long as the wick could last. until inevitably, the wick reached its end, the candle burning out. until the wick finally died, reaching the stick of the candle and engulfing that, too, in flames."

hi guys! I'm trying to get back into tumblr since twitter seems to be dying but, I'm pretty much starting over completely. I could use some active accounts to follow. If you post FFXIV, DnD, BG3, mythology (esp greek/norse), illustration and graphic design, and/or pagan content would you mind giving this an interaction? My feed is pretty empty

“I must balance vengeance and mercy. I must act in account to your life and account to those you have hurt.”
Here we have Keraunos, the title character of my developing graphic novel, versus his father, Zeus, in an epic climactic battle for the fate of the world. I have probably drawn this composition at least five times, trying to get it right, but this is by far the most detailed and complete rendering that I’ve been satisfied with. It’s certainly the most intricate digital composition I’ve made thus far, and I’m only just beginning.
I really do have high hopes for this project, seeing as I’ve been working on it for three years, but hopefully you all will see a finished product by the end of this year. Not necessarily a complete novel, but a set of chapters to show what’s to come. Graphic novels take a helluva long time to develop! What can I say! Anyways, I hope you enjoy this piece. Stay tuned as usual. :)
EDIT: I’ve made a blog here to compile all of my work. I’d appreciate a follow or two. And some reblogs would be nice. :)
