(Cuttleling anon) yeah like there are patterns in splatoon with the shopkeepers (like sheldon. Hes always there!) and i dont think 'dlc introducing new species' is one of them. We even dont know what the dlcs about! For all we know it could genuinely be pearl and marinas wedding

Sheldon's always there and growing in power + confidence, the Hat Shopkeeper can never actually be able to wear hats + has a little friend, the Shoe Shopkeeper is a crustacean of some variety, and the Clothes Shopkeeper is a jellyfish!! I love them all. The Shopkeepers are underrated. The patterns with them are so fun.

Man, I wish it would be Pearl and Marina's wedding, if just for the comedy factor. I don't think they'd ever get that past whatever censorship is going on throughout the globe, but it would be absolutely hilarious to see NoA try to make a lesbian wedding seem platonic, LOL.

Maybe the DLC has something to do with travel and exploration, though. The SRL did release this huge map of part of the world of Splatoon, and Pearl and Marina are noted to be on tour right now... The map's existence alone seems to back this up pretty nicely, those are a huge deal to make and forces you to work within newly formed boundaries. You only make a map of the world when you really mean it, and pretty much have to.
