#5 Shinomiya

He was pretty rude to her before she got pretty and when she regained her weight, he was disgusted and encouraged her to push herself BEYOND her limits to get back to looking “pretty” 🙄 so shallow.

#4 Nanashima

Also shallow and also participated in trying to push her to her limit to get “pretty” again, but he’s a step above Shinomiya because he has “assbro” vibes. He’s an asshole, but also kindof a bro. Would never be able to date Kae, but still be a bro friend.

#3 Igarashi

Now we’re getting to the ones who actually had a chance. Yes, Igarashi initially was interested in Kae because of her looks like the two above, but he grew to love her as she was and ended up not caring that much about her looks after a while.

#2 Shima

FRIEND SOULMATES! Her and Kae just VIBE in a way none of the others do 🤣 also, she had a crush on Kae already before her appearance changed! So cute! 🥰🥰

Before we get to the obvious, imma list a Dishonorable Mention…Takeru… kidnapping, forceful kissing and marriage, manipulating and possessive…just 🤢

#1 Mutsumi (of course! 😍😍)

Recognized her IMMEDIATELY after her transformation, didn’t care about her looks, loves her because of her kind and earnest nature 🥰 he didn’t even join the “harem” to date her, he just saw a chance to have a group of friends with his respected club member! And when he realized he loved her, he wanted to straight up confess and be with her rather than pussyfoot around the situation like the others were 🥰🥰 he even risked his life to save shitbird Takeru cause he was still Kae’s childhood friend and knew she’d be hurt if he died 🥹🥹 He truly was the best option and I’m so glad he ended up with her in the end ❤️❤️

the black captions came from YouTube,so some are wrong. idk if it's cuz in using crunchy roll on my tv(Roku),and not on a phone/computer but my subs don't appear. I have captions turned on in my settings on Crunchyroll as well as on the Roku,but they still don't appear. so this scene and the other moments from the anime I have on here will be captioned with YouTube. I'll try my best to correct them like I did here. luckily most of them are correct,just a few words here and there that needed fixing.

Sooo... I watched the anime Kiss Him, Not Me a couple days ago and I HAD TO know the ending and therefore I ended up reading the manga too... And I just wanna say I am so happy... This was so different seeing from our main character's perspective bcs she is just like me infatuated with 2d characters (not totally like me though, she's a lot more crazy, lol) but still... I just loved the dynamic between all the characters and the understanding between them...

It really made me emotional to see the end and watching them grow into adults suddenly after the whole manga being based on their high school life...

Also, yeah, another episode of me groveling on my single ass bcs THE MAIN COUPLE IS JUST THE CUTEST UGHHHHH!!!! Can't I have a Mutsumi senpai for myself???
