86k words, casebound at folio size. The front and back details are cutaways with printed vellum for a slightly translucent titlepiece. The spine has the title done up in silver, which is difficult to see unless it catches the light - it doesn't translate well to photography. Typeset in Baskerville Old Face, using Winob for titles and dropcaps. The chapter header illustrations (and linebreaks, which I forgot to take photos of) are all by me!

Inspired by other fics:

The Adventures of Gonky the Cat - Slight spoiler, Gonky is a cat in the modern AU fic Roasted, Brewed, & Served with Attitude (see description below), and I decided to write his backstory/fill in some of his adventures. This is a WIP, currently there are no spoilers in it, but eventually there will be some chapters that give spoilers for later in the story (and will be noted as such).

Gemini Eyes - This one shot fits in as a chapter in between chapters 85 and 87 of Roasted, Brewed, & Served with Attitude (see description below). DO NOT read it unless you have made it that far in Mel's work, otherwise you will have pretty significant spoilers. I had a lot of fun working with Mel's versions of each character, and it's always a joy to write Tech's thought processes and mannerisms.

Roasted, Brewed, & Served with Attitude - by MelMorganne99 over on AO3. It's a clever, emotional, modern AU with Crosshair x OC (and one of the best OC characters I've ever read). This fic helped me understand and appreciate the nuances of Crosshair's personality and emotional journey, and has given me endless writing inspiration. And the author is one of the kindest, most engaging people I've ever met online. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and read it. There are 99 chapters but they're on the short side and full of snarky humor and sometimes surprising cameos. This is a full blown fix it fic too, although not always in the ways you might expect!

The Vacation - by @staycalmandhugaclone is one of the best Crosshair fics (and smut fics in general) I've ever read. The writing style haunts me and both Crosshair and the OC are beautifully characterized.

Hey Guys! I'm @margindoodles2407, and this is my art blog!

A few things to know about me: If you want to know my personal deetz, you can go to my main blog and read my pinned post there. The only thing from there that I'm going to put here is that I'm Roman Catholic, because that is the most core aspect of who I am as a person and shapes and informs my every decision. Pray for me that that may always be true.

Anyway! I am a big Legend of Zelda and Star Wars fan, so expect to see a lot of that here, along with whatever I want to draw at any given moment. This may include, but is not limited to, Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and Sacred Art.

My requests are always open, so if there's something you desperately want to see me draw, don't hesitate to ask! My little self is Amber Rae (not my real name).

I'm an intentional ageregressor/dreamer, my little age is somewhere between 6-10 (big age is 27). I like arts and crafts, playing with my toys, eating snacks 😋 and taking care of my pets (both real and imaginary; I have 2 cats, an imaginary tiny person, and a furby). My favorite movies are Spirited Away, The Little Mermaid, Narnia, and Coraline. I like spooky things even though I get scared sometimes. I don't have an official Care Giver, but I do have those around me to take care of me every once in a while, otherwise I set up my own things or regress with other littles.

My tiny self is a figment of my Little's imagination, who she named Rosey Rae.

I'm about 3 inches tall on a good day. I'm more awake at night, I prefer sweet things to eat like fruit and pastries, but I'm not too picky and have a pretty large appetite despite my size. I love exploring the big world around me, but leaving the house makes me nervous because I have no idea what I'd do if I got lost. Cats scare me, but so far the cats in the house seem disinterested in me and I've befriended most of Amber's toys. I try to be helpful, but sometimes I make a mess 😅
