Thoughts about Goldenflower? Specifically her alignment in terms of Tigerstar being a massive Thistle law supporter, and Goldie being left to raise their kits alone after he’s ousted from ThunderClan and caused thw death of their elder son (intentionally or not). Girl has been through sooo much I’m kinda glad she wasn’t around to see what her surviving son became.

Golfy BABY, Goldenflower is getting a sizeable kiss on the head.

She is the daughter of Speckletail, future bulldozer attacker. She is every bit as intense as this implies.

Goldenflower is the same size as her littermate Lionheart. She just braids her mane, making her look smaller. They are both fucking massive

The most personal and painful part of Tigerclaw's betrayal was the fact he KILLED HER BROTHER.

She is really close with Frostfur after Lion's death, because she's super overwhelmed with two litters so close together AND being head of the kitchen patrol.

Swiftpaw and Brightpaw were practically siblings with how close they were. It really wasn't a surprise that they ended up in trouble together.

Golden was planning to not even speak Tigerclaw's name to Bramblekit and Tawnykit. Her opinion on Tiger was an IMMEDIATE, FURIOUS 180.

Generally Goldenflower isn't a "soft" person. She's a lot like her mom, Lionheart was the more gregarious and diplomatic of the two.

Snowkit was also a very serious cat like them. This family is generally pretty focused and pious.

They also had a middle sibling who tragically died in the Plague-- Mistleclaw. That was before Fireheart joined ThunderClan.

I really love how in canon, Goldenflower is firm and pushes back on how unfair Fireheart is towards her kits. So that's where I'm building from and generally disregarding fanon's take on her as a gentle mom. Society has progressed past the need for gentle moms. Goldenflower is currently telling you to sit up straight and take all those dishes on your desk to the sink.

She's waiting.

Back on that 189 though-- that was for almost everything. Frostfur, Dustpelt, Longtail, a LOT of cats have a much slower reckoning with the ingrained beliefs that they'd accepted from Tigerclaw.

But Goldenflower was motivated by some pretty hard spite. She wanted NOTHING left of him. She was finding things to hate about him, and ended up "leading the charge" on ThunderClan's reckoning here.

Not neccesarily because of deeper principles, but because she was willing to wrecking ball her way through any leftover associations with him.

Before this point though, she DID support Thistle Law, juuust over the edge past Hard Traditionalism. She would speak very critically of Queen’s Rights, openly call for war, protested against bringing back WindClan, etc.

after Tigerclaw's betrayal, she's still more of a centrist Traditionalist, but will listen to a convincing argument, and slides towards Fire alone over the years.

I actually want to write Fireheart and Goldenflower developing a strong friendship in this moment, too.

She doesn't advise like Whitestorm does, but she's good at shutting up bickering cats when Fireheart is a fresh deputy. I always wished he had some more allies in that moment.

Also generally a very reliable senior warrior. Will absolutely be one of Firestar's choices for his first deputy, though he ultimately picks Whitestorm.

After TPB, she has another big role as the new mentor of Squirrelpaw. Unfortunately, she has had to flunk the little fireball on her warrior assessment TWICE.

She actually talked to Firestar like, "I'm aware that this looks suspicious but I promise I'm not holding her back to spite you. She threw herself into the river."

"No no, Golfy, I'm aware she's wreckless. I never assumed you were being unfair to-- wait the river? The river with the WATER??"

"Yes. The river with the water."

She is also surviving well into OotS, as an elder. I don't like how tiny the den was for so many arcs! SO, that does mean she is going to get a pretty good look at her son's early leadership and all that entails.

Unfortunately though, she ended up taking his side in the Reveal. In her eyes, Bramblestar was LIED to. The Queen’s Rights are to protect kits-- but that doesn't mean you just get to lie to the mate who's going to raise them.

(This is also definitely colored a bit by personal bias, she would be more charitable if it was anyone else but her son)

So when he decides that the Three aren't his anymore... Goldenflower distances herself too. Lionblaze is especially painful-- she used to think he was in honor of her late brother. But now she finds out that it was all a lie.

From the elder's den, she has various opinions on the changes happening to ThunderClan under Bramblestar, like the crumble of the ShadowClan alliance. I feel like she wants to support her son, even when she thinks his choices are questionable... but at the same time, her pride prevents her from being TOO soft on him.

Just generally being a strong traditionalist in the Elder's Den, but on the softer side as opposed to Mousefur on the hard side.

I'm currently planning to axe her in the Great Battle, because there's no way she doesn't go down swinging... though I am also keeping her in mind for one of the greencough outbreaks, since I'm trying to make those into an actual threat in BB instead of "kill some randos" disease.

In any case though I want her alive into OotS to have opinions about Bramblestar, because I find that too interesting to pass up.

I have gotten permission to talk about my OCverses so take some Starwood Forest ramblings to start!!

I've classified the universe into three 'stages', each representing when the tone of the OCs changed.

The first is the the beginning stage! This one was created during when I was about 12 (I'm 15 now) because I needed a way to express emotions and what better way to do it then animals! This early stage took a lot of inspiration from series like Warrior Cats and Wings Of Fire, which is very noticeable in the first wave of OCs.

Many of these OCs were shallow figures without much thought behind them, and many have since been forgotten about. This stage has gotten slightly revamped overtime, fleshing out certain characters.

Overall this stage was the calmest, one made to pass the time without much thought to how it worked. There were some darker elements, but most of it was suitable to middle schoolers.

(I should also mention the first OCs in this wave Fallen, Goldie, Jay ad Rusty, were based off FNaF OCs. No plot relevance but something that I feel is vaguely important.)

The second stage (The Seas and Skies stage)

This stage was when I started experimenting with darker topics, such as child abandonment, child abuse, homelessness, death of a loved one, and trying to find out your place in life.

Some notable OCs from this time: Ocean, the pirate cat! They were the one I struck with some heavier topics, but mostly left alone. They are the captain of a pirate ship, and just in general a badass. May be non binary. Same case as Seahorse, listed below. Seahorse. Who I explicitly stated to have been abused as a child. First OC to have confirmation of this in front of my parents. Well. I also may have accidently wrote her to be trans coded? Like I didn't mean it but it also fits with her story. So yeah. mtf first mate. she's got a partner. Winter the ghost fox! I love him. I love him so much. He's just a funny ghost fox who lives with a circus. He died from falling off a cliff btw.

This stage was named due to the focus of the oceans and the circus, which included many winged animals, hence the name. There was a lot of escapism stuff, which looking back on it was me trying to find a happy place to escape too when my siblings came after me.

I have gone through and revamped many elements of this stage to comply with the main timeline, as well as adding more queer characters!

One thing I should mention before moving to stage three, is two OCs that belong somewhere between stages one and two. They were created during the first stage, but didn't get fleshed out until the second. Their names are Peppermint and Thistle and they are lesbians and that has always been their relationship since I made them. They basically adopt the kids in the circus that Raven can't take in, so they have a lot of children that stop by!

It was also at this point in time that I started drawing the characters more humanoid, when they had been fully animal before hand.

On to stage three (the King, the Lab, and the Child Soldiers)

This stage is so fucking dark! What was 13 year old me thinking! We've got experimentation, more child abuse and neglect, death, suicide, child soldiers, child death, fighting arenas, corrupt people in power, and quite a bit more on top of everything talked about in stage two! Take this as your fucking trigger warning!

This stage was developed based on a creepypasta OC I had made, and then turned into something so much bigger! We've got a kingdom being ruled over by a queen who is making prisoners who were experimented on fight each other to the death, most of whom were children. We've got Finn, the ball of trauma who ends up ruling the kingdom but only after he kills himself! We've got a hoard of dead kids, one of which can time travel, a bunch of ones that were street kids who were brutally murdered, and group that was fucking child soldiers?????? What the fuck was 13 year old me doing. What the fuck was I doing.

Anyways, this stage is where I ended up putting this OCverse out of main activity and started moving onto the CrossOCverse and the Minecraft OCverse, all of which were just as dark btw. If not more. Remember that the Starwoods forest was something I created with my parents knowledge. Admittlly they didn't know a bunch of details (like anything related to the queer characters because homophobic parents suck) but still.

Ella Snugglepaw

Jess and Lily were feeding kale to the guinea pigs when they spotted a Chrysalis. They remembered that in the summer time that caterpillars change into butterflies. However, this one hasn’t yet. Suddenly Goldie came in and it was time to go to Friendship Forest.

By the time they arrived, Goldie explained that she found a cow who’s suffering from amnesia.  The girls suggested they should use The Memory Tree to help, but Goldie told them that it only works on CERTAIN memories and not ALL the memories. For the time being, they decided to call her, ‘Ms. Lovely’. In her sack was a small koala bear named, ‘Ella Snugglepaw’. She was keeping the amnesic cow comfort.

Suddenly, Grizelda and her hench-flamingo ‘Bingo’ came in. He knocked Goldie, Mrs. Lovely, and The Girls over and flew off with Grizelda following him from behind. They arrived at the school to learn that spell casting class was about to start. Professor Cutiepaws arrived on the scene. When Ella hugged her, Professor Cutiepaws felt very uncomfortable. She was also uncomfortable with the appearance of Miss. Lovely. This made Jess and Lily very suspicious. As they got started on class, they did a disappearing spell, only for it to smell like moldy cheese. It was really confusing.

After class, The girls, Ella and Goldie, headed off to the library to warn Professor Wiggly what’s going on with Professor Cutiepaws. Professor Iggly did find it strange that despite protecting his library. Anytime they bring a book outside the library and Professor Cutiepaws is teaching, something bad happens. All of the sudden, trees started to disappear. They decided to call up their witch friend, ‘Thistle’ to bring back the trees.

They rushed through the forest of disappearing trees all the way to The Memory Tree. Luckily, Thistle knew just the spell to do that. The moment she casted the spell all the trees came back. That’s when Jess realizes that they should do the same thing on Miss. Lovely, hoping it would bring her memory back. And sure enough, Jess was right. Miss. lovely started to remember that her name is Ms. Poppycud, the new Spelltop school teacher and that Grizelda tricked her into leaving while adapting a new cutie paw identity. That’s when they realize that Professor Cutiepaws is really Grizelda, which makes a lot of sense. They had to get to the school fast. 

Along the way, Ella saw Bingo the Flamingo crying. He was sad and cruel because his four big brothers always ignored him and Grizelda promised that she would be his friend and go get ice cream. However, she stood him up at the cafe. Feeling sorry for the poor flamingo, Ella decided to be his friend. With one hug, Bingo and Ella became best friends. 

Arriving at The Spelltop School, Professor Cutiepaws revealed her true self as Grizelda, much to the students' horror. Bingo and Ella swooped in and defended the innocent students. Grizelda was so betrayed and frustrated, she decided to leave the school. Everyone cheered for the duo.

Later was the school’s award ceremony. Charlotte won the rose for best reader, Layla won the rose for most creative, Ava won for most musical, Ella won a rose for most friendliest, and Bingo won for most bravest. His brothers were there to cheer their little brother on. Amused by their change of heart, Professor Gogglewing inducted them into the school and introduced Professor Poppycud to the students. To celebrate, they ate raspberry soda and cherry cookies.

When Jess and Lily got back to Brightley, the little caterpillar they saw earlier changed into a butterfly. It was magical.

Not really. I use the perfect functional option to BLOCK tags I dislike ^^. So I hardly see anything I hate. And I am good at ignoring trolls and focus on the good people in fandom.

Well, I hate shipping wars. I don’t like to see people in the same fandom fighting each other over fictional characters instead of supporting each other. If you don’t have anything nice to say: Shut your cakehole!!! I don’t say you have to like everything. I just say don’t insult other who DO like it! I hate lots of ships and characters ^^ but am friends with supporters of them non the less.

Also when I see that Actors are abused for their roles...WHAT THE F...??? You do realize it is just THEIR JOB, right? Also when the wifes of actors get harassed...Just DONT. They are the good actors they are cause they have their loved ones. Don’t hurt what they love Oo. Why are you doing this?

I cringe when I see people talking about “THE WHOLE FANDOM” in an opinion. NO, it’s never THE WHOLE FANDOM. It might be MOST of it...I tend to be part of the ones that are not part of the opinion. That mostly goes for the Ducktales Reboot Fandom...

On a sunny clear day, Lily was feeding a bunny with a broken ear. After closing its hutch, Jess came over with a decorated box. It was their memory box. Inside the box was a feather from Mr. Cleverfeather, wool from The Woolshops, and a bookmark from Mrs. Taptree’s library. Jess and Lily wondered if they would see their friend, ‘Goldie’ again.’ Below them, they heard a purr. It was Goldie, she had come to take them to The Friendship Forest.

Crossing Brightley Stream and through the Friendship Tree, they arrived at The Friendship Forest. In the bushes, out came a small brown bear with a pink scarf. She was ‘Hannah Honeypaw’. After giving a bear hug, she told them that today is the annual Honey Harvest. After coming across Lola Velvetnose and The Curlyshells(Who were a bunch of snails) Hannah began to realize she forgot something important.

Goldie suggested that they should go to The Memory Tree for an answer. Goldie explained that The Memory Tree is one of the Heart Trees, along with The Laughter Tree, The Sweet Dreams Tree, and The Kindness Tree. They arrived at a tree with leaves that looked a lot like keys. Jess and Lily figured that the key trees unlock a memory. Pressing a leaf, they showed them a memory.

Jess and Lily saw the moment where they saw The Friendship Tree for the first time ever, Goldie saw a memory of her picnicking by Sparkly Falls and Hannah saw a memory of her eating her favorite honey.

Then to their horror, Grizelda appeared and behind her were four orbs. They were her witches in training, Thistle, Ivy, Dandelion, and Nettle. In dismay, they watched Grizelda put the Memory Heart into three pieces. Everyone started forgetting things, except Jess, Lily, and Goldie were from the human world and Hannah had a Memory Flower in her fur. Grizelda and Her students took off while fighting over a honey bun.

Hannah suggested that they should go to her Uncle Greybear for answers. He was only a cub when The Heart Trees were planted.

When they reached his den, they could see that he’s forgotten how to clean. Despite this, he remembered his grandniece. While he was figuring out how to use a broom, they found his journals on the history of The Heart Trees. It was there they learned that the last memories played on The Memory Trees are theirs. Now they have to go to Queen Busywing, The Treasure Tree, and Sparkly Falls.

Along the way, they couldn’t help but notice that everyone is starting to forget things, including Queen Busywings and her colony. They couldn’t remember where they put their honey cart until Jess showed them the cart. Just then, Thistle clumsily crashed into the honey cart. Lily immediately grabbed the first heart piece. Queenie and her colony decided to stall her while they looked for the other pieces. 

Once they got to The Treasure Tree, they saw The Nibblesqueak Sisters having a hard time remembering how to get down from a tree. Lily recalls that hamsters are strong. 

Suddenly, Thistle came in all sticky and gooey from the honey. It was there that Lily remembered that Thistle and her classmates were fighting over a bun. She tossed a honey bun and Thistle ate it. The Nibblesqueaks did the same thing to buy Hannah enough time to get the piece. After getting it, she fell and landed on Jess’s arms. It was there that she noticed that Hannah’s memory flower was beginning to wilt. 

Immediately, our heroes rushed to Sparkly Falls when they ran into their speech-impaired owl friend, ‘Mr. Cleverfeather’.. he couldn’t remember who they were, but he could help them the best he could. Hannah grabbed his hook, climbed up and grabbed the final piece of the heart. 

But as she got down, she started to forget them. After putting all three pieces of the heart together, Thistle clumsily flew in and broke her broomstick. She was sad because of this. After Mr. Cleverfeather fixed her broom, they ran off to The Memory Tree.

After they arrived at the Memory Tree and placed the heart on, everyone’s memories came back. Hannah suddenly remembered that she forgot her honey jars for the harvest. Thistle decided to stay at The Memory Tree and guard it. 

During their harvest, Jess and Lily thought about how much Thistle loved Friendship Forest, the bees shared their honey with her, Thistle admired the baked goods and Mr. Cleverfeather fixed her broom. Mr.Greybear came in with jars of Goodluck Honey and gave them to Jess and Lily as a way to say, ‘Thank you’.

Arriving back to Brightley, the girls gained a new memory and a new topping for their toast for breakfast.
