This is based on the aborted Geno route text that says Papyrus’s special attack would have ‘blasted’ you. (When you check the box of attacks)

Had this silly idea about the Narrator Chara theory and what their reaction would be to following yet another human’s journey through a strange world.
Not even a full headcanon or anything, just something stupid I decided to draw for fun

Why i love the Frisk & Chara dynamic
One of the implicit things in Undertale that i really love is the dynamic between Chara and Frisk as well as the way it actually changes over the course of the game even in pacifist/neutral playthroughs.
This is exposed pretty clearly by noticing how the way the narrator treats Frisk changes fairly significantly from area to area in the game to the point where by the time New Home comes, the narrator is nothing like they were in the Ruins when it comes to how they see Frisk.
Bodysharing has some very interesting implications from a psychological standpoint too. Imagine living within someone else’s body whilst having the ability to read their mind, to know their every thought, every secret, every fear and every memory. A connection so profound that you always understand them or how they feel.
And here, this kind of bond is suddenly being applied between Frisk and Chara. Someone who strongly hates humanity and who’s last interaction with the living had been getting killed by humans along with Asriel. Someone who by all accounts should dislike Frisk.
Seeing the way that this connection they have slowly changes the way Frisk and the narrator both interact over time is to me a super interesting topic. Especially from Chara’s side regarding how they slowly get nicer to Frisk throughout the game. The narrator itself goes through a character arc spanning through most of Undertale. Something that is really easy to miss unless one is specifically looking for it while reading the narration and yet that is absolutely a thing in the game.
It is honestly one of my favorite parts about Chara’s character and one that is often overlooked even by Narrachara supporters who often portray them as being nice to Frisk immediatly, something that just doesn’t make much sense given Chara’s view of humans and that doesn’t match with what we see in the game either.

Red Bike With a Golden Basket (Part 1)
Post-Pacifist Floweypot Fanfic
Please do not ride bikes with your eyes closed in real life. Frisk is a trained professional. Thank you.

Notes: -Well… this took a long time to finish, especially in drawing Monsterkind’s home on the surface… Obviously some of the layout and buildings is ripped straight from Deltarune’s light world.
-There are a lot of cameos from both Undertale and Deltarune. I replicated some of the UT/DR sprites in the art by copying their original sprites ripped at Spriters Resource. Some of the background characters may have been modified from their original sprites. Same for some of the buildings.
-I like to think that monsters are able to bring some of the structures in the underground onto the surface. Probably able to do so with magic.
-I headcannon that Undertale takes place somewhere in the near future so I figured, why not say that technology advanced enough to have giant robots people can ride around in? I’m a mecha fan you see, and after playing Deltarune’s Trash Machine battle and watching Inverted Fate’s mech fight, I was like: “you know what, I’m gonna put mechs in this AU.” -When drawing the panals showing where the rest of the Undertale cast is right now, I thought of them as extensions to where they left off at in their credits scenes in Undertale. -The panal where Mettaton and Mad Mew Mew are doing their dance battle is actually from this sprite art made for Famitsu I think? LINK -First panal dialouge inspired by this page here from @lynxgriffin ‘s  Flowey Origins comic (also my main inspiration for this comic of mine) . UT - Flowey Origins Part 7 by LynxGriffin on DeviantArt -EDIT: Changed the mechs into robot duck tanks based on the Thrash Machine options you can make in Deltarune Chapter 1. After some thinking, I feel like the mechs that I drew here don't fit the goofy aesthetic vibe of Monsterkind, so I went with something sillier instead, and it make more sense with Sans's silly nature anyway. Also, the Duck Tank is piloted by yours truly.... (bows)

Dear narrotor Chara believers, I know most of you possibly picture chara as an older sibling to Frisk or a dead friend who is around their age (and yes I know there is a third popular way to interpreta their relationship but I'm not touching that).
But can I propuse to you, an Au idea.

So, a huge Nostalgia-Bomb hit me yesterday and it gave me Motivation to redraw two very old Pictures I did in 2016/17!
Very happy how it turned out! And a Remix of Undertales Main-Theme brought me to tears too xD This game still has a very special Place in my Heart.
Hope you guys like it!
Under the Cut, you can find the old Artworks!

"Chara isn't responsible for the genocide route, the player is" and "post-Genocide route Chara is evil" are takes that can coexist.
Like, yes, they're not the villain the fandom used to turn them into but they do deliberately kill everyone in a Post-Genocide Pacifist route just to spite you. They sure as shit didn't start evil but they definitely became evil during genocide.

Hi! How are you?
I had a question about Undertale, and you're the first person that popped up in my mind haha
I was wondering if you knew whether or not Chara remained in the Underground after a True Pacifist
Because in a No Mercy run when we give them our soul, we know they're with us on the surface
But if they don't have it, can they really leave the underground? Do we know what actually ties them to Frisk?
Sorry for bothering you it just popped up in my mind and I was wondering if you had answers
Have a nice day!
(Im alright. You're not bothering me ! I wouldn't be answering asks if it bothered me. And thanks !)
Assuming that you subscribe to the narrachara theory, the answer would appear to be no. They do not stay underground.
There is still flavor text during the final scene, in which the monsters are on the surface, and so is Frisk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And there is also still narration in this scene, which according to the game files and room analysis, takes place past the barrier and not before it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Being past the barrier or not does not seem to be impacting the presence of narration. Neither in pacifist nor any other route.
One more aspect of this question to cover is the end game credits of the pacifist ending.
The second half of the credits that involves Asriel messing with us regarding special thanks or actually using the red soul to dodge kickstarter backer names is pretty obviously not supposed to be canon.
Tumblr media
However, the first part of the credits where we get to see what happens to the monsters on the surface definitly is.
Tumblr media
And in this part of the credits, the narrator is aware of how things played out on the surface, as well as still doing things they did in the game such as calling Snowdrake a "comedian" or being heard by Tsunderplane.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In a pacifist route there is no more magic barrier anyways, so why would they even get stuck in the underground or such in the first place ? There’s no reason for them to.
What narrachara is very clear about is that Chara is sharing a body with Frisk. The place where they go is thus... wherever Frisk goes.
For the better...
Tumblr media
...Or for the worst.
