Actors Moon Placements:

The Moon in astrology is associated with emotions and emotional responses. It can show how your emotions come off. For this reason its closely associated with acting of course there are other planets that could come into play when discussing your acting style but I find the Moon to be most common in showing what characters and actor typically plays

Examples:

These are some western and sidereal examples

• Adam Sandler — Known for playing a lot of funny characters in comedy films. His Moon is in the sign Gemini in his Sidereal chart which is one of the signs most closely associated with comedy

• Tom Holland — Most known for playing the superhero Spiderman has a Scorpio Moon in his sidereal chart. Scorpio and Aries placements are commonly found in the charts of people who play superhero’s most likely because Mars and Pluto can be associated with crime/fighting. Also Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberpatch, etc have either their western or sidereal Moon in the signs Aries/Scorpio

• Penn Badgley — One of his most popular characters is Joe Goldberg in “YOU” who is a serial killer and stalker. Penn has a Scorpio Moon which is the sign ruled by Pluto the planet associated with things like stalking and death

Maddy is also big on fashion which Venus also is associated with. In Sidereal she’s a Virgo Moon which also aligns with the character as Maddy is very sassy

• Leonardo Dicaprio & Kate Winslet — Their most famous role was in the movie “Titanic” which is a romance film. They both have a Libra Moon, once again, ruled by Venus the planet of love

• Sarah Jessica Parker — Most known for her role in the show “Sex and the city”. Her Moon is in the 8th house which is the house of sex meaning she does well in more sexual roles

• Reese Witherspoon — One of her biggest roles was in Legally Blonde where she plays a regular college girl who aspires and is working to be a lawyer. She’s a Capricorn Moon in western which is the sign associated with your career/work and in sidereal she’s a Sagittarius Moon which is the sign associated with law (other than Libra) as it’s ruled by Jupiter the planet that represents justice

The best type of characters for you to play:

I recommend checking both your western and sidereal moon as I’ve seen both have accuracy

(1h/Aries Moon) They do best in films involving action, crime, or films involving war. They could do well playing characters that are a superhero, sexual character, athletic character, aggressive character, fighter, villain, and you could also do well in adventure films too.

(2h/Taurus Moon) They do best in romance or musical films. They could do well playing a character that is someone’s love interest, a chef/baker/cook, stubborn, determined, or that’s wealthy and materialistic.

(3h/Gemini Moon) They do best in comedy films. They could do well playing funny characters, a fraternal twin, a character that’s gossipy such as regina george, a character that’s popular on the internet, a character that’s crazy, a character in school, and characters that are neighbors to the main character.

(4h/Cancer Moon) They do best in family films or emotional films. They could do well playing soft, sensitive, caring, be a child star, a chef, be a mother, and roles literally involving lunar topics in some way such as Robert Pattinson who plays in Twilight. Twilight itself involves the Moon/Sun.

(5h/Leo Moon) They do best in thrillers, dramas, or romance films. They do very well as main characters or as characters that are sassy, as child-like characters such as Tom Hanks voicing in Toy Story, a famous character, sometimes as superheroes, and possibly flirtatious characters. They also tend to play gay characters sometimes like Cameron Monaghan and Noel Fisher for example.

(6h/Virgo Moon) They do best in dramas, comedy, or medical films and shows. They play very analytical and funny judgmental characters well or sarcastic ones. Sometimes even awkward characters suit them well like Jonah Hill in Superbad for example.

(7h/Libra Moon) They do best in romance, musical films, or even sometimes in Disney films such as Halle Bailey. They often do well playing romantic, charming, attractive, and artistic characters. Sometimes their character could be involved with law in some way such as a lawyer.

(8h/Scorpio Moon) They do best in action, crime, mystery, or horror films. They play dark characters really well, scary characters, murderers, and brave/ambitious characters good as well. They could even play good surgeons.

(9h/Sagittarius Moon) They do best in comedy, adventure and sometimes superhero films. A character that’s positive, humorous, blunt, seeking justice for others, or is in school would suit them well.

(10h/Capricorn Moon) They do best in historical films or films with sarcastic/dark humor. As sad as it sounds they play broken characters really well. I notice a lot of people with this placement play characters that have daddy/family issues as well. If not broken they can play hardworking characters or business men/women really well.

(11h/Aquarius Moon) They do best in sci-fi, supernatural, or just very unique films in general. Characters such as Neo in The Matrix played by Keanu Reeves, characters that are a bit of an oddball/weird, and characters that are the life of the party/party animals such as most of James Franco’s characters.

(12h/Pisces Moon) They do best in fiction or fantasy films. A character that’s a princess/ethereal, not human, musically talented, artistically talented, characters pretending to be something they’re not, and as characters that have a lot of secrets.

Note:

I do think sometimes the Sun can be more accurate with this as well since it’s related to self expression, drama, talent, and spotlight. Make sure to check your Sun placement as well

Hi Pia! Birthday spotlights are such a good idea! I am interested would it be only the main characters? Could you share which horoscope sign is most common in your stories and which is the least and not even there at all? And I am sure it was asked, but I am not sure how to find the answer, so are you allign your characters character with their sign? Thank you for always bringing new ideas!

So it's 27 characters who are getting birthday posts this year if I can keep up with them! (This is across my original works, and it includes POV characters and popular side characters like The Gancanagh and The Raven Prince).

I've just started it, so *checks* I'm not sure what the most common sun-sign is because I did it by month, but let me double check real quick!

Okay, so, there's no Aquarius or Scorpio love (sorry, I actually love these signs it just worked out this way! It just means I'll have to add some more birthdays as we meet more characters :D )

The sun sign represented the most - five times - is Aries.

After that, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Libra and Sagittarius are tied for three birthdays each! (You'll have to wait to find out who they are)

And Sagittarius is on its own and only represented once.

I am loosely thinking of how characters kind of match their sun-sign, but as someone who has almost nothing in common with my common sun-sign traits, I'm also thinking about their moon/rising signs as well! (Though I haven't written those down, it's more like... I'm not fussed if they're not a perfect match. Though some - I think particularly the Leos - are :D )

There's one more birthday this month to go! And that's for Nate Prince :D You can see the birthdays for each month with the chapter schedule I post at the end/beginning of the month.

I've also picked a colour to represent each character. Gary's is - unsurprisingly - charcoal grey like the suits he prefers to wear and the towels in his bathroom and also his sometimes bleak personality lmao

When the York's moved to Tonopah Valley....

William had been a week away from turning twelve years old. He had been anxious about the move, but overall supportive of whatever his father needed to heal. But Simon and Percy could tell how down he was. And so a tradition was born for the young Sagittarius, born at exactly 7am on November 24, 1985. On the morning of his twelfth birthday, at 6am, Percy and Simon stirred Will from bed and they all bundled up and got in the car to drive to Lake Mead. As the sun started to rise close to 7am, they sat on the hood of the car, drinking coffee (or hot chocolate in Will's case) and his father's would cheer as the hour hit, celebrating his arrival into the world, re-defining that day in 1985 for Will all over again.

The morning of Will's 38th birthday was no different, except over the years a few guests had been added to the crew that piled into the car while it was still dark out. As Will got older, he always found himself waking up earlier and earlier on his birthday, preparing more to leave with. What had once been hot chocolate and coffee was now coffee and breakfast sandwiches and whatever pastries could be piled into a box at that time of the morning. This year, like many others, Theo and Chloe were already in the kitchen with Percy and Simon (not that Theo had ever left the house) and they all piled onto him with hugs as soon as they saw him. To be surrounded by love was something that humbled him every day. But especially on his birthday.

There was always a moment during his birthday where he couldn't help but wonder about his birth parents. 38 years later and he still wondered about his first year of life, of what it must have been like when his biological parents held him in their arms. If they thought of him on this day or if it was just another day in November for them. Every year he tried to forget and every year he found the thought lingering in the back of his mind despite how joy filled the day was.

This year would include his usual lunch with Logan, a constant of theirs, a little moment for the two of them to giggle and gossip. A pause in the midst of a full day to enjoy a good meal with someone who brought out the silliest parts of him, the parts that reminded him he really was just some dude on this spinning rock. It was a moment to be reminded that he really did have the most special people in his life.

Which was exactly why the afternoon and evenings were truly for the boys. An afternoon ride through town with Cole and Nate, a dinner they'd never treat themselves too on the regular and mounds of dessert by the time the rest of the guys joined them. All to be rounded out by as many drinks as he could handle at the Outpost, blushing as Beau made a thing of letting everyone in the bar know it was Will's birthday. Which was usually how he got the most free drinks and Beau got a decent profit for the night. Laughter and shoulder pats, big hugs and endless teasing. A true loved filled day, celebrating a man who was trying his hardest to truly reflect that love back on himself.

Which is why in order to continue the good feelings of the day, Will fixed his fingers to inquire whether a certain surgeon was free at that latest of hours so he could enter the next year of his life wrapped up in the kind of warmth he wanted to have with him all the time. And a few other things that didn't need to be put into words.

And yet, Will's mind still wandered to the things that were missing. The people that were missing and he found himself wishing that one day, one year, it would all come back to him. Until then, he would be deeply grateful for what he still had. And my god, was it a whole lot of love.

the astrology of: gossip girl

Blair - Definitely Scorpio, Leo and Capricorn placements.

Scorpio - blackmail, vengeance, very private about her struggles. Leo - big ego, but also very insecure. Protective, secretly caring. Capricorn - focused on achievements, ambitious, likes to be in control. A lot of people assume something in Aries but I don't really see it. Mars-ruled Scorpio rather than Mars ruled Aries.

Serena - Libra, Sagittarius, something in Virgo, Cancer.

Sagittarius because of her free spirit, open-mind, she isn't afraid to do things, she is less conscious of her image compared to Blair. Libra because of the slight duality, sweet-talking, how sociable and likeable she is. Virgo - I can't really point it out but it's definitely there. Possibly something in Cancer as she has her sensitive moments.

Chuck - Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Capricorn.

Strong fixed sign energy. Definitely more earthy than Blair, so there could be Capricorn as well, he was rational and thoughtful in many situations. But stubborn, huge ego, power-driven. Because of the games he likes to play I would say there is something in Gemini as well.

Nate - he's giving Water sign.

Cancer or Pisces maybe. I am still on Season two but his character is so bland at times, so I can't really point anything out. From what I have seen now I would assume something in Water, something in Taurus. Aquarius as well cause he is quite detached, unbothered.

Dan - Cancer, something in Virgo, something in Aquarius.

Very considerate, practical, but also doesn't fit in. I would assume something in Pisces or Cancer for him as well, as he is more open about his feelings. Kind of naive though, especially in the early Georgina episodes.

Lily - Aquarius mostly. Libra or Leo for the fashion.

i don't know what it is but she is very Aquarian. Kind of detached, caring but not overly. First I thought of Virgo but no, definitely Aquarius. Air sign with some earth maybe. I can see something in Leo, Libra OR Taurus for her - elegant, stylish, attractive. <3

Rufus - Leo, something in Water, definitely some Sagittarius.

Very caring and protective of his children, but has a strong character. Passionate, an artist, but I don't really see Pisces in him. Sagittarius because he's giving laid-back Sagittarius man energy after some wild younger years.

Vanessa - Mix of Water and Air, some Earth.

I can see her as being a Cancer, laid-back and chill, but also kind of needy and insecure. Something in Virgo as well.

Georgina - Gemini and Scorpio, that's it.

Smart, machiavellian. The mind games are Gemini, the action is Scorpio.

Serena could be a Sagittarius Rising considering the fact that she always has the worst haters ever (Scorpio 12H lol) making machiavelic plans to ruin her life omg (maybe even having her Mars there) : Georgina, Juliet, Maureen, Ben ? Also saying how she's always excited to ride a vespa and how it reminds her of one fabulous summer somewhere in europe was peak Sagittarius/9H behavior hahahaha.

Blair never had a healthy romantic relationship in her life and that's so sad : her first love (Nate) was in love w her bff, her true love (Chuck) was toxic and abusive and the prince ? No really one of the worst characters ever. It screams scorpio venus that never got over her need for passion and not seeing how too much passion can be toxic af. And constantly testing people then asking herself why dramas and schemes follow her ???

She often had premonitory dreams, peak 12H placements energy (honorable mention for 3H Neptune).

Dan is chaotic like a Virgo Rising : people think they have it together and are serious little nerds but all they're doing is fantasizing about experiencing the wildest shit ever and the more pleasures they can along the way. the audacity of him pitching a fit over being lied to or just someone omitting to tell him everything during the entire show, all of that to actually be Gossip Girl and revealing his friends' deepest secrets on a daily basis ? typical Gemini man tbh hahahaha.

🧪I think she’s a Sagittarius Rising because I just know Lilith has to be at play in regards to her MC or tenth house. She has been universally disliked ever since playing Skylar White and I don’t think it’s fair. In this situation, her MC would be squaring Lilith within 4 degrees.

🔪Plus Lilith is opposing her Ascendant within five degrees so she’s likely used to being disliked for no reason.

🧫Sure I thought her character was frustrating in Breaking Bad but people just took it a bit too far, attacking her appearance and what not for simply playing a character in a fictional TV show, a TV show that caused them to be so passionate in the first place. Clearly she did her job well— she was written to be disliked and really personified “the nagging wife” trope needed to make Walt seem less annoying and more likable. The show would not have been as successful without her.

🦠 She has always come off very Virgo-like IMO with the roles I have watched her in. Jupiter would be her chart ruler and it’s in Virgo, co-present with Uranus+Pluto+Venus. Which would account for the dislike factor too. Uranus representing unexpected changes and Pluto energy being… Scorpio energy.

🔬Because Venus is at its fall and within 3 degrees of Lilith, I believe this accounts for why she’s so universally disliked. (Lilith probs, amirite?)

👢She’s tall at 5’10” and so are about 2/3rds of the others I bothered to Google while pulling up similar Ascendants+Moon. The others were quite short (Saturn influence or Jupiter was at its fall/anti-domicile) or also quite tall too. But then Jamie Lee Curtis has Saturn right on her Ascendant and she’s 5’7” but Jupiter in Scorpio has reception with Mars in Taurus so idfk. Terri Clark is 5’11” with Saturn retrograde close to ASC. Pink is 5’4”. Idk dude take that with a grain of salt, lol, but Jupiter ruled Ascendant would make someone taller using the basic rules of planets.

👃🏻Her nose looks to me like that of a Scorpio Moon🦂 and Pluto would be opposing her Moon within 15 degrees in this instance thus giving that effect.

🏴‍☠️Or perhaps she is a Scorpio Rising which would put the Leo stellium in her tenth place but I didn’t want to be obvious and take the easy way. Plus she just does not come off Leo-like to me at all, which perhaps would put it in the twelfth place thus making her a Virgo Rising. Which mercury would be the ruler and it’s in Leo again so 🤷🏻‍♀️no. Sag rising remains best logic.

🧸As a Sag rising, her tenth would be ruled by Mercury which is being maltreated. Her MC falls in her eleventh house ruled by Venus being maltreated in the same way. This would explain the controversial reputation.

🏆🏆However, Jupiter is copresent with Venus in her tenth in a day chart which helps explain the massive success— the woman won two Emmy awards for that role. I can imagine such placements playing out like that. (Hindsight is 20/20) she won in 2013 and 2014.

🔱 From ages 23-43, she was in a 20-year Gemini period which houses Lilith thus activating it. But remember the ruler is under the beams and thus has a hidden quality to it. Significations can be sort of hidden, kind of like the Marvin Gaye situation.

💀 I think Pallas near the angles or in angular houses can have a similar effect as Lilith. I wouldn’t be surprised to see those with Lilith aspects to major planets also having significant Pallas influence but that’s just a hypothesis.

🐳 She briefly played a love interest to Nate Fisher in Six Feet Under Season 4 (2003). Her character had really nice sheets but a not so nice personality.

biography

nathaniel grew up in a very modest home where he and his brother were raised by their single father .  though they did not have much in terms of materialist items , nate’s father worked hard to provide essentials for them .  as a child , he didn’t understand the exhaustion wearing down his dad’s frame each night ; the man was prideful and proud and didn’t want his sons to be concerned for their next meal or feel cheated in life from not having a mother in the picture .  the young boys spent their days mostly outside , imagining grandiose fictitious lives and playing in fields , woods , sneaking onto colorado farms to see with animals , and swimming in the local lake .  it wasn’t until nate was a little bit older and his elder brother fell into a rougher crowd that his worldview began to shift . 

nate’s brother was more than him — more rebellious , more impulsive , more impatient , more loud .  their relationship began to deteriorate , what once resembled a best friendship became a struggle at home and a minefield in town , as nate was known as the kid brother .  his brother collected enemies as he continued through high school and it made their family a target .  one fateful night , they suffered a home invasion and what little of value his father owned and had saved was ripped from them violently .  the thief was never caught or prosecuted .  it was then that nate realized how easily people could break , how starkly different right and wrong were , and that every action by one person held potential to cause damage to another .

after gaining notoriety for a high profile case where he won acquittal for a man falsely accused of murder , nate pivoted into politics .  not only is he sharp witted and intelligent , but he can charm a smile onto any stranger .  he now serves as a prominent state attorney and is rumored to be considering a for governor or congress .  nate can be seen on local and national tv news media fairly often . 

generally , nate is impatient and blunt but only because he truly wants people to be their best .  he sees everyone’s potential and gets pissed off when they aren’t trying to achieve it .  nate can come across like an asshole sometimes , but he’s a male politician so he can get away with it - and even be praised for it at times .  man’s got an ego ; let’s be honest .  despite his pubic persona , there is a huge part of nate that is sensitive and genuinely concerned for humanity and the big picture .  he mostly keeps his worries to himself and channels his emotions to fight for what he believes is right .  even if some people question it or don’t see it , he cares deep down . 

olive + angelwoods … 

at college orientation , nate met a girl he liked and started dating her exclusively pretty quickly because he was always a traditional guy who preferred meaningful relationships over hookups or flings .  however , about a year later his girlfriend was away studying abroad and he met olive at a party . olive was stunning , witty , full of life , and nate was immediately in awe of her .  

they became quick friends and over time he showed her his softer side , confiding in olive ways in which he hadn’t with his actual girlfriend .  he was a young guy maturing into adulthood and growing into his actual self , with olive at his side as a “friend” .  at a constant war with his own morals and loyalty to the girlfriend he thought he would marry , nate’s willpower wained and he eventually started hooking up with olive and having an affair .  it was a total secret .  no one knew and everyone thought nate was still madly in love with his girlfriend .  

the connection he had with olive was so complex he barely understood it or what he felt towards her , though he constantly lied to himself and justified it in such backwards ways , believing it was simply physical and nothing more .  he was young , naive , and trying to maintain an illusion of an image he’d built of up himself in both his head and to everyone else .  

if people knew about nate and olive’s affair , he would have seemed like the biggest hypocrite with his judgmental attitude towards others .  nate was the charming , well-known perennial student government guy always fighting for some justice and cause .  he knew that what he was doing was wrong and he hated himself for it , but he found himself going back to olive again and again until her death .  no one knew his secret feelings towards olive and he buried them with her in her grave .  it was terrifying that anyone could ever find out , and he knew it would ruin his entire reputation and , truthfully , his sense of self worth .  

olive’s death made him inconsolable in private .  always doing his best to present a confident front in public , nate never told a soul that he had strong feelings for olive or the way that her death destroyed him .  he mourned in silence , and did his best to console the general student body in his role as student govt president , assuring everyone that the murderer would be brought to justice and planning memorials + fundraisers for olive around town .  olive’s death was a wakeup call to him that his relationship was completely fucked up , and he immediately became distant with his girlfriend and broke up with her within a week or two with little explanation .  the depression that ensued from her death was all consuming for a few months , but everyone who caught glimpses of it assumed it was because of his breakup with his girlfriend .
