Here’s a fun poll I want to try as an experiment:

I tried to narrow it down to 10 fandoms that have helped shape me as a person or are just truly core memories for me/touchstones over the course of my life, from my very first fandom ever (Sonic) to one of the most recent (Jeweler Richard.) These are probably roughly in chronological order of when I got into each series.

Some honorable mentions that didn’t make the cut: Kirby, Inuyasha, James Bond, Discworld and Cowboy Bebop.

I have a sense of which of these 10 will be most popular, but I’m really curious to see the results if this manages to get some votes. Feel free to reblog for a larger sample size. :)

The fact that its supposedly "soft" colonization - by instead of massacring the natives and replacing them but making them replace their culture, language and identity- doesn't make it any less of a colonization

Denying arabic muslim colonization is racist towards SO many ethnic groups that i can't even list it out, and that includes MY people - the jewish people of judea
