I imagine that because he's long-lived and most likely has watched many people die before him, he's scared that there won't be anyone else by *his* side when it's his turn. There's no way of knowing when or how, he wouldn't be ready for it, so that's probably double scarier for him. He's an anxious fella

omg i’ve been meaning to respond to this i’m so sorry it took me literally forever..

but omg.. here’s me talking about nellis (kinda nsfw..)

- so basically in my lil l4d universe ellis and nick become a thing by finding alcohol in an abandoned house and getting sloshed almost immediately (empty stomach plus everything else the apocalypse sucks out of you) and well one thing led to another.. two wasted men who haven’t had sexual relief in a very long time.. sloppy gay things were just bound to happen

they wake up jumbled over each other, half their clothes off and just lookin rough. they put two and two together, freak out at first, but lowkey realize they feel better in some weird natural way

realizing they need to get a nut out every now and again, they will secretly venture off and get drunk and fuck

outside of this, they act like nothing is up. treat each other how they usually do, it’s like nothing is going on.. but because to them it really doesn’t mean anything

but.. when you’re intimate with someone, let alone in such an environment, and that person’s life is in your hands daily.. it’s natural to develop feelings

and that’s basically what happens to them. as time went on in the apocalypse, protecting and saving each other, being vulnerable in multiple ways, etc.. add in sticking their dicks in each other, of course they’re gonna fall in love smh

BUT.. it’s not that easy to admit nor accept. they’re dumb men

so they just.. continue their apocalyptic lives with this newfound family, trying to survive

- i don’t see ellis as the typical naive kid. is he immature and dumb? yes.. BUT he’s a young southern man.. he isn’t innocent

i bring this up bc throughout the years the overall nellis trope has been nick being solely a mysterious jackass and ellis solely a childish shy boy. very yaoi-esque lol

ellis is a rough and tough born and raised southern boy! just cuz he got choked up on his words with zoey doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be confident in anything else (and i mean it’s zoey… who wouldn’t fumble their words)

so i just don’t see the “nick pushes ellis against the wall and he’s all blushy and shy and doesn’t know what to say”

he would either be like oh hell yea right on brother i’m down for this.. or he would punch nick in the face

- ellis definitely brings out the goofball in nick. it took him a minute to crack those old walls but once he did he realized nick actually can be a fun normal human being

- nick is definitely a gossiper and surprisingly so is ellis (but yet not that surprising bc he is from the south lolol) (ALL 4 OF THE L4D2 SURVIVORS WOULD BE BIG GOSSIPERS IMO LOL)

- it actually took them a very very long time to actually have penetrating sex. they never had been with men before, so they were virgins technically. for a while all they did was oral, handjobs, etc. they had to slowly make their way to third base lol.. and when they did i think that would be where the genuine feelings truly blossomed between them

so I used to be in a girl group and upon my departure my team thought “we need to get her some hype to carry us through her first ep release” and there was an awards show coming up where satoru was performing and he needed a girlie pop to duet and dance with him

my team was like *pushes photo* “her” and his team was like ykw…sure. she’s in the news right now, her career is heating up, why not and we had around six weeks to rehearse, get to know each other, re-record a backing track, all of the fun stuff.

rehearsals were fine although i found him really frustrating to work with because he had his own idea of how things needed to be and i had mine but the PERFORMANCE????? the chemistry was nuts, he played piano which is only one of the four instruments he can play proficiently and i sat on top of it and looked down at him and thought woah Nellie this isn’t good

Bc I liked himmmmmmmmmmmmm and after our performance he started being weird and cold and posted a behind the scenes of shot of me during a costume fitting I didn’t approve of on insta so we had our drama for a bit after that

(the pic wasn’t bad I was just mad he decided to post a pic with the caption “some views are too good not to share” after months of being a freak and avoiding me)

so that’s how the not really enemies but insane people behavior started. my songs that are about him (though I insist the one that is discussing a man child is NOT about a man who is notoriously a man child) always get screamed about on social media after I perform them and same to him.

It’s like a thing after that though. we end up doing like four more songs together, performing together, he comes on tour with me for four dates and I swear nothing will happen but 🥴

The flashing lights and pounding music echoed through the walls of the club as you were standing in the parking lot. Your friend, Eddie Brock hopped on his bike and tried to start it, but nothing was happening. In the meantime, the guys tried to call a taxi but with it being a Saturday night in San Francisco, the wait would be far too long.

"Man, I really don't want to call an Uber. They're gonna be like $200 tonight or some crap." Jason huffed. Eddie shrugged.

"I gotta call someone to tow my bike so I can get it fixed tomorrow. Besides, an Uber might be fun with all of us. We're already riled up so it can add more to this already crazy ass night!"

"Yeah!!"  you chimed in, pressing down your skirt. "I just wanna get home and change and have some bath bombs!"

"Ooooh, nakey time, huh?" Eddie joked. You flipped him off, smirking, and the others all laughed.

"Please!" Sarah, one of the other friends added in. "It's pure Heaven to take a bath bomb!"

"Well while you’re all yapping about bath bombs, our ride is here! It's not that expensive, but we all gotta squeeze in. Ladies, sit on the guys' laps!" Jason cried out, right as the silver Toyota pulled up. There were 3 guys and 3 girls. The guys crammed inside as the girls sat on top of random guys.

Eddie, however, began to feel his heart race. You were sitting on top of him, and while he always loved to joke around with you, unknown to you at the time, he always had the hots for you. He felt you were gorgeous, funny, smart, and just a great friend. You met at work a few years ago where you were an intern then became a full fledged staff writer. He admired how smart you were and how you were always able to match his wit.

Soon the car began rolling.

"Ah you fellas out clubbing I see?" the Uber driver asked. "How about some of this?"

He turned on the radio and began playing some dance music. Loud. It suddenly became a party in the back seat. The girls...well, began wiggling their asses and the guys started dancing along as well.

"Oooh it's getting hot in herrrre" Jason sang to the tune of Nelly's song, completely off beat with the EDM music the driver was playing.

"You're so crazy, Jason!" Sarah, who was sitting on his lap, said, as she tried to make up her own lyrics to go with the EDM. Jokes were flying everywhere but Eddie was having a hard time concentrating.

You were sitting on him and you weren't just wiggling your ass--it felt like you were grinding into him. And Eddie was getting incredibly turned on by it. He felt himself getting hard and tried to move a bit away from you, but you kept grinding even harder. You knew what was going on. Suddenly, Eddie's heart almost stopped when he felt you reach down and grab him through his pants.

By now he had a full erection and you looked over at Eddie. He tried to look away but he couldn't resist feeling your stare.

"I'm sooo sorry, I got excited and---"

You cut him off, smiling.

You lived on the same floor and quietly walked into the building. The others said their goodbyes and went into the elevator, but Eddie didn't even process what was happening with them. Their elevator left just as another one opened. You walked into it and he followed behind.

The minute the doors closed, you grabbed Eddie's head and pulled him in for a kiss. Eddie couldn't believe what was happening. It became passionate incredibly fast, your tongues dancing as if you'd been lovers for years. Suddenly, Eddie pulled away.

"Y/N....?" he whispered.

The bell of the elevator rang as you came to your floor and the doors opened.

"Come on!" you smiled, motioning your finger for him to follow you.

(maybe that just means i’m very affectionate but either way) so yes, people would know i like Jax straight away (n probably bc i feel like i would make friends with a lot of em so i would probably tell at least one of them SJGJDH)

now Jax on the other hand,,, u might as well go find a needle in a haystack bc that’ll be easier than figuring out if Jax has romantic feelings towards anyone SJGJSH. again, i feel like he’s very closed off until he feels comfortable enough to open up so he’s probably not gushing over me to others the way i would be. i think it would very slowly become more obvious though. like Jax would slowly get more physically affectionate n i would be fine with that n we’d start talking more n yadda yadda n people would just tell us to start kissing already SJFJSF but yea very obvious for me, not obvious at all for Jax.
