Neon AU

(Neon au)

An AU i wanna write one day. Basically its about, instead of Unicron and Primus being enemies, they work together. Forming one giant planet that combines cyber and organic life.

There are three main "races" (there are couple more undeveloped ones), being Nights, Neons, and Humans.

Neons are characterized by neon colored hair, while Nights are characterized by more so dull colors andnthe ability for parts of hair + eyes to glow in the dark. Both are able to weild powers and turn into machines (takes a LOT of practice).

Humans have more neutral hair colors ofc and do not have said powers.

Brights are humans mixed with neons and or nights. Like baby chicks they start with dull/dark color within their hair. Slowly growing more unnatural colors. Brights cannot turn into a full mecha, but can weild great power with a lot of training.

(Each faction has a slightly different role)

Decepticons: a group of neons and nights set to destroy the humans, the cons believe humans are less than. This includes those who are brights, which are given mercy if they serve the decepticon cause. (Though they will always be treated less than)

Autobots: a group of many different races set to protect humans and maintain a bond between neon, night, and human kind.

MECH: a group of humans who want to destroy anything that isnt strictly human. This usually includes brights as well.

Heya! Thank you for your interest in the fic! So to answer your question, it's kinda yes and no? You see, Usagi is Leo's childhood friend who taught him much about sword fighting (things Draxum isn't much proficient in). After so many years together they are already almost like an old married couple wefawefwfe There are certainly moments that could be interpreted romantically BUT I want to focus on Usagi as a character and I don't want to force the ship on anyone so I keep it open. The fic will continue to have interactions between those two plus the whole fam, which I hope you will enjoy =) If you are looking fo Leosagi content that focuses more explicitely on the romance, I have written some of those as well. Like this three-part winter camping rom-com and I recently started this apocalyptic mercenaries-to-lovers fic. And I'm sorry you are currently sad, whatever is going on in your life right now, I wish you happier days ahead!

Okay so this hyperfixation has consumed me for 3 days or so. Right now as I write this I don't know how to put this to words, but Shroud brothers would fit so nicely to NGE story and vibe. And the themes of isolation, loneliness and the search for connection. And cool mechas. :) There was many iconic screenshots I would have wanted to draw too but I really want to get this out and move on with my hyperfixations. Hopefully : D

Set in an alternate reality, Donnie & his brothers go back in time to the cretaceous period to stop a cataclysmic event. However, in doing so, the four brothers get stuck in the past and live among the dinosaurs.

Because the Ooze was designed to make super soldier mutants, it helps its host adapt to the conditions around them. After a few years, it started to double-mutate him to adapt to his new harsh environment, making him very raptor-like.

Because of his double mutation and trauma of past events, Donnie is at risk of going into a feral “Savage” mode like Raph

Has two modes— ‘Hunter’ and ‘Scientist/Alchemist’

While hunting Donatello relies on his instincts. Becomes very aggressive and territorial.

He uses an ankylosaurus skull and other dinosaur parts as his battle shell and protective gear while hunting

When he isn’t hunting, Donnie is trying to reinvent necessities to make living in a prehistoric era a bit easier with what materials are available to him

Whatever he doesn’t have, he’ll make. From scratch.

Dino-Tello’s concept was inspired by a similar 2003 TMNT episode where they go to the past, 2003 Leatherhead, Tarzan, and the anime series ‘Dr. Stone’

His concept is meant to emphasize Donnie’s other strengths beyond technology— such as his Super-intelligence, his close-combat fighting skills, and ability to communicate with other creatures (as shown in the Todd Scouts episode)

He and his brothers tame a triceratops and name him Zog, who was both a pet and steed

For one reason or another… Donatello is the last turtle standing

However, due to classic Hamato shenanigans— ‘Dino’tello might not be all alone for too long 👀👀👀
