Have been catching up on this fic “Careless to let it Fall” by @artemisdesari-blog on ao3 and holy shit guys. It’s beautiful. I love the Anakin and Ahsoka master-padawan dynamic, don’t get me wrong, but I have NEVER forgotten that Ahsoka was meant to be Obi-Wan’s Padawan before Yoda meddled.

This fic is BEAUTIFULLY LONG, really well written, and guys, Mandalorian Jedi (and *spoiler BATTLEMASTER) Obi-Wan hfgdhfgddhisdhfiuhsrfhihsrhfibrw it’s perfect. Apart from the colours and Pauldron symbols and some other descriptions about it being lightweight, the armour design is mostly my interpretation. I’ve wanted to draw obiwan in armour for AGES and this was the perfect outlet

AND INTRODUCING MY FIRST DRAWING OF AHSOKA EVER AHHHHHHHHHHH. My baby girl, I love you so much you could never do anything wrong in my eyes.

As a little appreciation to the INCREDIBLE @corrie-guard-things for bringing my little fox hoodie design to life, here’s my take on Dr- I mean Commander Doom 💚

Some notes on his design, the symbol he’s chosen to represent his squad is the triangle, it’s absolutely EVERYWHERE, so I thought it would be natural for him to get it tattooed. I also wanted to give them a distinctly Māori style considering Tumuera Morrison’s heritage, and how much tattoos mean in both Māori and clone culture. I also thought it fitting that he would get a tattoo in memory of Tiplar after she was killed, with the geometric design of his battalion bleeding into it a lot.

His hair, had no idea what to do so I just made it grey like Dr. Doom’s colour palette LMAO 💚

And on a bit of a more somber note, the flowers decorating the helmet are called Twinflowers (Linnaea borealis) as I wanted to represent his twin Generals Tiplar and Tiplee. Of course, on each flower one of the blossoms has wilted courtesy of uh… 💧

My last drawing got me into a Uncle!Mace and Baby!wan mood so have some paint shenanigans at the temple on courascant! 💜

AND BRINING BACK MY WINGED JEDI AU, ITS BEEN TOO LONG AHHH. This was SO fun to do, thank god for uni spring break. About Mace’s Design!! I decided to model his wings after a Golden Eagle, just his elegant, regal aura paired with his sheer power made me think this would be a really good fit (with an added purple sheen of course)

For his hair I’d like to think that he would twist some of the more rowdy feathers growing from his scalp into his dreads (so he doesn’t look completely ruffled 24/7) while the rest he let’s hang free (and decorated w some tasteful silver clasps). Obi is a lost cause tho, those downy feathers will not go down no matter what mace does.

I’ve always liked the idea that Mace Windu was the Jedi to find and rescue Obi-Wan from Stewjon, just adds more interesting layers to their friendship (honestly I don’t even know if Stewjon is a hostile planet or not, canon and fanon really blur the lines in obis backstory)

We always see Mr Super Serious head of Jedi Order Windu, there’s not enough enough of Windus soft side out there (he would be GREAT with kids don’t even lie) 💜

God tumblr really nerfed the quality so bad 😭
