The Politician Review

The Politician

Story line: 7/10, The Politician has a solid and cohesive story line. It is funny, dramatic and overall entertaining. This season tackled a lot of current social topics in a satirical manner such as the climate crisis and cancel culture.

Protagonist: 8.5/10, This season you see Payton trying at becoming a better person and trying hard not to become the person that he once was. If anything, I believe that Payton is honestly a great character. After all he is supposed to represent a politician, and I think we can all agree that politicians are not perfectly good, at some point they need to sell their soul and put their morals aside in order to actually win votes.

Would I watch it again?: I would definitely re-watch The Politician, it is really fun to watch and is genuinely such an interesting and light-hearted show.

Overall: 7.5/10, The Politician is a good show. The show tackles real life political issues in a satirical manner to show how radical things like cancel culture can be. It also highlights how people are not perfectly good or perfectly bad, something people often forget.

Netflix sta sperimentando anche altre strade, in Francia, dove ha 9 milioni di abbonati, ha lanciato la funzione Netflix Direct, un canale TV lineare con tanto di palinsesto. IL "canale televisivo" ideato da Netflix il cui test è stato lanciato a partire dal 5 novembre in Francia; Nazione scelta grazie a una ricerca che l'ha indicata come il paese con una maggiore inclinazione alla fruizione televisiva tradizionale. Netflix Direct funzionerà come un qualsiasi canale televisivo: si accederà a quel canale e quella che viene proposta è una rotazione dei contenuti offerti dalla piattaforma. Un modo per superare l’ansia dell’abbonato di fronte a un’offerta troppo ampia dove è sempre più difficile trovare ciò che interessa. La programmazione è studiata in base ai contenuti più popolari della piattaforma, scelti tra quelli che ottengono maggiore successo non solo nel paese, ma anche in Europa e nel mondo intero. “Forse non sei dell’umore giusto per decidere, o sei nuovo e stai cercando di orientarti, o vuoi semplicemente essere sorpreso da qualcosa di nuovo e diverso” questo è il modo in cui Netflix ha spiegato il servizio al pubblico francese.
