Just saw a BT blog saying that the deleted scene is Tim reinforcing Eddie as straight, that Tim last week saying that "You shouldn't be writing to appease people just because they're mean to you" was him mentioning us and that he's scrapping Buddie because we're so mean...at the same time they're harassing half of the cast and making a public 4 hour rant about how much they hate Oliver now 😂😂😂 What are these people smoking?

I love the way that everyone decided that scene was Eddie saying he's straight. Even I, an avid Eddie in love with Shannon defender, can look at the scene and be like "huh?" The dude didn't talk about wanting to kiss her or touch her, he liked watching her and listening to her talk. And that's what he does with Buck too, like, they added more parallels between Buck and Shannon, added context to Kim in relation to Buck on top of the way she has Buck's color palette and the birthmark in her hair and the way that Eddie was lying to Buck about her. And well, if he's punishing anyone (which is stupid since punishing us would be punishing the show because we remember the last time they tried to separate Buck and Eddie and we are not the ones bringing every person involved in the show into this), he's punishing both sides and, well, at least we know we are keeping our guy no matter what ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

my dad, who is a saint and a blessing and also someone who loves to give gifts, bought me a new laptop and gave it to me a few days ago as a reward for finally finishing my grad school application. (don't know if I've talked about that here? anyway yeah I've applied to get my masters. probably I will talk more about this if they let me in lmao.) I am politely not asking him how much it cost. he knows I've been looking at options for a solid year now and struggling to save the money, and knowing him he's probably been keeping an eye out for something at a decent price that he thought would suit my needs. he's a computer guy through and through, so I wouldn't have made a purchase without his opinions in the first place, but I def didn't expect him to outright buy one for me - I do not know where the money came from. we're not, like, drowning, but I know there isn't much extra to go around; about half of my own earnings go into helping pay our rent.

anyway. I'm working on getting it set up rn. it's a bit crazy to have a whole new computer - I'm typing this post on the old one, which he bought me in 2013 before I started my undergrad, and which my dad has helped me nurse along far beyond its natural lifespan. we've replaced the battery once, the keyboard twice, something else I think... also he fixed up the fan a few years ago when every time I turned this laptop on it sounded ready for liftoff. it's almost twelve years old, and really wasn't designed to be user-serviced. if I unplug it the screen stops working. if you touch the audio jack or connected cable at all, let alone unplug/replug said cable, you will hear some of the worst sounds imaginable. I use an external keyboard bc the A button falls off every time it's touched.

Anna. I did sign wrong. Lady Whistledown!! After I hit send, I realized!! Also, they were upset Oliver deleted the interview on Insta. I mean, I think we can all agree that Oliver has weird SM habits. But they worry more because they kept writing comments there.

They basically keep getting hit with the laws of three. Every time they are excited, 3 bad things happen that bring them back to reality.

I mean, Oliver is weird with his social media, but he did delete comment threads before deleting the interview, it's not crazy to think he had enough of the comments. And well, before this week even I was bracing myself to be forced to deal with T for the first half of the season, now I'd be surprised if he made it past the opening arc, so I can't imagine how they are feeling when all their illusions keep getting shattered and they don't have anyone on the show on their side anymore. The show keeps making sure everyone knows the place he actually has in the story.
