y/ndevils00 hello and welcome back to your preseason recap! i’m your host, y/n “dove”, here to give you my totally unbiased and not at all subjective rundown!

as this is preseason, not all of our favorite whores were playing tonight (gotta give the babies a chance!) but among the ones who WERE, we have best friend (or idiot) number 2, sweet baby jesper, akira-shakira, basket bahl, smush, uncle lizard, new-found uncle truffle, and everyone’s favorite babygirl: jacky!

side note: do you guys think Jack was looking around suspiciously in fear of me taking his picture? 👀

we had a pretty uneventful first period until my recently acquired uncle, tyler, scored the first goal of the game! go uncle truffle! he also let uncle lizard borrow his stick and glove! we love besties who share!

we opened second period with (fuck it we) bahl getting a penalty for interference! in my opinion, he didn’t interfere with anything because trash cannot be disrupted… but whatever! (yes i did stand on an empty seat to get that picture over the glass, no i will not be stopped)

halfway through second we had a goalie switch! those are fun! (they are not fun.) and i was caught taking a picture…. that doesn’t happen often, the guys can’t usually find me… i think schmido-torpedo has a y/n-sense. kinda like the sense i have to catch Jack when he’s watching cocomelon (that can also be found on slide 6)

in third period, my sweet sweet baby bratter got the devils ahead by one with his goal! pop off, you sweet swedish fish!

seeing as he went to the matt tkachuk school of hockey, lukey pookie was seen chewing on his mouth guard like LSH and electrical cords 🫶

and finally, i added in a picture of maraschino cherry, because he did good tonight despite being the apparent object of the rags hatred and being targeted! he held his own and even pushed a rags player tonight!

p.s. we scored an empty netter goal as well, getting us a 3-2 win tonight, but the puck flew in on its own for us? who knew that was possible!

Once you had reassured your safety to him, the two of you traveled around together. It wasn’t long before you exchanged phone numbers (just pretend).

Overtime, the housekeeper couldn’t help but fall in love with you more and more.

He has a special ringtone set for you, that way he knows whenever you call. Everyone else has a common ringtone, except for Ayato and Ayaka.

Speaking of the Kamisatos, they totally bullied him about his big fat crush on you. Ayato would catch him looking at his phone, then sighing in the most lovesick way.

Ayaka once caught him staring out of the window, leaning on his broom as he watched you in the city. The second she called his name, he tensed up and fell onto his bottom. Was the blush that dusted his cheeks from embarrassment or infatuation?

Eventually, the darling guy mustered up the courage to ask you to be his partner. It was such a sweet gesture that you had to say yes immediately.

As a boyfriend, Thoma is probably the poster child for perfection.

He knows everything about you, down to your blood type. He has all of your favorite things saved into a notepad on his phone, some of those things you never told him, he just took notice.

Thoma is such a gentleman. He holds every door for you, and does not hesitate to lend you his jacket when you’re cold. So what if he’s extra chilly? At least his sweetheart is warm.

He often surprises you with flowers, and always brings you to his favorite Cherry Blossom tree when it’s in bloom. He claims that “cherry blossoms change your fate.” And that “we met while the blossoms were in bloom, and my fate changed for the better.”

He keeps every photo that you send to him saved into respective folders. Selfies, memes, sunsets, pet photos, etc. Each type has its own folder.

Fun fact about sending him selfies: if you look “extra cute”, which he always claims you do, he will cease whatever he’s doing to hide his face in his hands and quietly scream.

He loves to go on dates. Visiting the markets, having picnics, or simply just waking around the city and taking in the cherry blossoms.

This man gives me “I will give you all love languages regardless.” Kinda vibes. Like, he’ll surprise you with a stuffed animal, or a treat from the market, he’ll shower you in kisses and sweet words, he’ll literally sinki into his seat to spend time with you.

I like to think that he can play the piano, so he just sits on the bench and plays the softest melodies while you rest on his shoulder.

I think Thoma is a quality time and physical touch kinda guy. He seems like he will absolutely melt if you play with his hair or kiss his knuckles. ALSO he will just lose it if you hold his head in your lap while he naps.

Be prepared for lots of kisses!! He loves to give kisses to you literally everywhere, but his favorite places are the tip of your nose, the back of your hand, and your lips of course.

He’ll never say it, but if you repeatedly kiss the back of his neck, it helps him relax and fall asleep.

Don’t be afraid to tell him your woes and troubles. Thoma will wake up at any time of night to console any ailments that you might have. He’s quick to hold you close to his heart, planting chaste kisses on your forehead, and brewing you a cup of tea.

If you’re sick, oh Buddy…

He will sacrifice his health so that he can lay with you. He almost always gets sick, and has to wear a mask to work the next day, but it’s always worth it.

started shipping: When I first read them interacting I said “That, that’s flirting, right there.” I was immediately sold: stamped, signed, and sealed.

my thoughts: they ought to wear the heck out of some skirts.

happy: they are both yearning and then they find what they were looking for—family belonging, love. (In my version at least. we don’t talk about that 501st travissty)

sad: they only knew each other in canon for a very fleeting moment despite having the same trainer/father figure. Fi got brain damage and might never be the same. Ordo congealed into a colder and grimmer version of himself as time went on. BUT we don’t talk about brunooo that ending.

fanfic annoyed- this is a rare ship so there is not a lot of fic, so general characterization: when they make Fi the bottom/fem gay boi and Ordo this serious badass cishet macho man.

-> Is normally laying on your lap when he goes over to your house so it's a little harder for you cat to actually get any sort of attention from you, but you were sitting on your bed while he was playing a game while laying over on your shoulder

-> That's when your cat found a way in, and with that it quickly came and laid down on your lap before nagi could change his mind and take it back

-> He looked a little upset when he saw the little feline laying down on your lap and making biscuits on your upper thigh

-> He did mention it once though a little request to move your cat a little so that he could lay on your lap but you replied with he already had his head on you shoulder and your cat has been needing some attention

-> so he sighed and just let it go, well that was until you had gotten up to get a couple snacks for you and Nagi (and maybe a cat treat or some catnip for your cat) but a couple minutes after you had left the room Nagi wanted to see if maybe he could actually try petting your cat

-> But when he reached out and placed his head on his/hers/their head, he/she/they quickly turned and bit his hand before jumping off your bed and nuzzling against your leg when you walked in the room, which Nagi quickly (well for his laziness) got up from his spot on your bed

"Your.. cat bit my hand.. and now I can't play my games.."

"Oh Nagi.. We all know that it's impossible, maybe you fell asleep on it or something and now it just hurts! My little kitty would never!"

Hi! How are you? Hope you're doing okay. Just finished reading unicorn and I'm glad everyone's mad at kit even though we know she's upset. But still she should've handled it better, poor y/n she was scared how awkward its gonna be afterwards. she expected a goodbye and see you on Monday but this is the worst.kit reassured her they're gonna be fine but she's the one who messed it up. If kit felt like Harry and y/n were too intimate I'd say she's kinda hypocrite cause neither of them had any problem when harry said kit doesn't even get this wet for him and she was totally enjoying her time with y/n but when the tables turned she just flipped. It's like she had her fun but after that when she saw them enjoying each other she got pissed. I think even though both kit and Harry claim to be dominant it's always in favour of kit. Like she's the one who has control over everything and Harry is just letting her do that. And kit seems so persuasive and always wants it her way. So maybe she got jealous when she saw Harry and y/n being themselves and being so real and raw which is not how he's with her. She saw the real him instead of the version of him she likes and that was with y/n. I mean she literally said she would never go down on him instead they'll do her thing so I felt like she's having her way with him even though he's also a dom but never the opposite. Whatever it is it still doesn't excuse how she treated y/n. She was new to all these things so were they but still she was very honest with them and admitted about her lack of experience and how nervous she is. Also she is younger than both of them so kit should've handled the situation more maturely.

“I have an idea!” The sound of his eager voice caused a smile to appear on your face as you looked over at him. His face was lit up with excitement and he didn’t even seem to notice the little smudge of chocolate ice cream on the corner of his mouth. You leaned across the small table and gently wiped it away before licking your finger. 

“Okay, now tell me your idea Francisco,” you caught the way his eyes had widened at the way you licked your finger - that was a mental note saved for later. You loved his enthusiasm, how excited he got when he was happy; it was one of the first of many things you’d fallen in love with.

“The fair starts this weekend,” he reminded you as you quickly realized where this was going, “and I think you’ve said you’ve never been to the fair here. I thought it would be fun if we went together!”

“I have not been to the fair,” you had moved to town almost a year ago, and while you hadn’t been sure about wanting to take up permanent residence, meeting Frankie Morales had been a big push into doing so. He was one of the first people you’d met, totally by accident in the grocery store when neither of you were watching where you were walking. He quickly became your friend and then your boyfriend, and now you were pretty sure he was the love of your life, “I’d love to go, Frankie. It sounds like a lot of fun.”

“There’s so much to do and see there,” you wished you could capture that look on his face forever, “and I’ll be your personal guide. It’ll be tons of fun!”

“But are there baby animals?”

“There are tons of baby animals.”

“Consider me sold - and excited,” before he could stop himself, he leaned across the small table and pressed a gentle kiss to your lips. He tasted as sweet as the ice cream he was eating and if you weren’t in public, you’d have definitely pulled him back for more, “what was that for?”

“No reason,” he promised, “just really like you is all.”

“Well, I really like you too, Francisco,” you promised, “but I think we should get out of here for now and I can show you just how much.”

Frankie was going to show up any moment to pick you up for the fair. And yet here you were, standing in front of your mirror and musing over your outfit. By now Frankie had seen every iteration of you - from jeans and a shirt, sweatpants and a hoodie, to formal dresses, and everything in between. You knew he’d love whatever, but you found yourself questioning your dress. It was a pale gold sundress with a daisy print that you loved and thought looked great on you, combined with a pair of cute converse that would be comfortable for walking all day. You were you looked -

“Wow,” you hadn’t even heard Frankie come in, let alone walk into your bedroom. But you spotted him in the mirror, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed over his broad chest. You turned around and felt your face flush with warmth at his intent gaze, “you look beautiful.”

“Are you sure it’s not-”

“It’s perfect,” he insisted as he sauntered over, giving you just enough time to admire how perfectly his jeans fit along with his button down. He gently touched your face, stroking your cheek with his thumb before he leaned down to kiss you. It was only a few soft pecks, but they left you leaning into him and sighing wistfully, “gonna drive me crazy in that dress if you’re not careful, Bee.”

“I thought you’d like it,” you put your hand on his chest and gave him a playful little push, “and its easy access on top of it. You look good too, handsome. Is that a new shirt?”

“Yeah,” a dark pink flushed his cheeks as he offered you a soft smile, “I had to make sure I looked as good as you, everyone though I clearly failed.”

“Hush Francisco,” you put a finger to his lips, which he kissed softly, “let’s get going before we end up in bed - which we can do later! I was promised baby animals!”

“Alright,” he offered you a big pout which caused you to giggle as you reached for his hand to start pulling him along, “you owe me kisses later.”

“You always get all of my kisses!”

The fair, just as you had imagined it would, was a lot of fun. It was made even better by having Frankie with you. Then again, you were sure that almost anything would have been better with him around. There were so many people, with everyone laughing and having a good time. You were hand in hand with Frankie, walking out of the food area, both of you stuffed to the max as you let him guide you towards the animals.

You were clutching a paper cone topped with bright pink cotton candy in your free hand that Frankie had been eyeing ever since you’d gotten it. Without a word he reached over and plucked some of the pink fluff off the cone and quickly shoved into his mouth. You turned to him with a surprised little expression and he gave you the cheekiest of winks.

“Thief!” you teased lightly, getting a wicked little idea of your own. Before he could say anything you reached for his trademark hat and pulled it off his head and onto your own, “you stole my cotton candy, so I’m stealing your hat!”

“Oh no you don’t!” there was a playful little glint in his eyes as you pulled your hand out of his and started to run away. You were laughing as you zigzagged your way through the crowd; you were fast but Frankie was faster and he quickly caught up to you. His arms wrapped around your waist as he caught you, pulling you close to his chest, “gotcha.”

“Have mercy on me,” you were almost breathless with giggles as you tried to squirm out of his strong grip, which only prompted him to tickle you lightly. You felt him press a few kisses to your cheek, his own chest vibrating with laughter, “fine, fine, fine! You win, Francisco.”

“That’s what I thought sweetheart,” his voice was low and warm in your ear and you had to try to stop the heat from pooling low in your belly, “nice try.”

“I almost got away with it,” you were beaming at him as you pulled out of his grasp and turned to face him, “but I’m keeping the hat for now! Besides, I like getting to see your curls. You look so cute!”

“Cute?” he snorted in amusement, “I am a manly man, thank you very much.”

“Very handsome,” you kissed his cheek, “but I’m still keeping the hat.”

“I’ll allow it,” he pushed it up slightly so he could lean down and kiss you properly. You couldn’t help but lean into him with a soft little sigh, “besides, it looks way better on you than it ever could on me.”

“Hush,” you insisted softly, “you are the most handsome man ever. I just happen to like wearing your things. But now, I want to see my baby animals!”

Frankie had to fight to keep himself grounded in the moment and not completely lose it once you’d told him you like wearing his things. There was something that made a primal hunger flare up within him when he’d see you walk around his house in his t-shirts or boxers or hoodies. But that was a thought for a different time. Right now, he was going to take you to see everything you desired.

He reached for your hand again, lacing his fingers through yours as you almost skipped in the direction of the barns. He loved your excitement at even such simple things; it was one of the things he noticed and fell for first about you. You could turn even the most boring of trips to the grocery store into something exciting. 

“Look at them!” you were almost squealing with excitement as you first saw the baby goats. They must have already decided they liked you just as much as they slowly flocked over to you, small little bleats reaching your ears, “they’re so cute!”

“They are,” he agreed with a smile as you both reached in to see if they would allow you to pet them. A few of the braver babies came over and let you give them scratches and pets, “they really like you.”

“I really like them,” a particularly affectionate little one gently headbutted your hand, “let’s move out to the county one day and get a farm and we can get all the baby goats and lambs and cows!”

“Is that really what you want Bee?” Frankie had no problem imagining a future with you. If you wanted to live in the city or move out to the country, he would have been right there with you. All he wanted was you, that much he knew. You turned to him and gave him a determined little nod, “alright then. We’ll move out to the country and start our own little farm animal collection.”

“Yay!” you kissed his cheek before bidding your new little friends goodbye and pulling him along to the lambs you spotted, “you’re the best. Best Boyfriend Frankie!”

And oh. How his heart stopped at your words. His whole face flushed with warmth and a pink flush rose up in his neck and cheeks. He could only hope you knew that he felt the same way about you.

“Francisco,” you had your arm looped through his, almost leaning into him as you walked through the last bits of the fair. It was getting into the evening and the two of you had been going around and looking at everything for the better part of the day. All the heat, walking, and excitement was slowly wearing you down. But once you’d spotted the photo booths, your energy had come right back. You pointed excitedly as he looked to where you were pointing, “photo booths! Can we go? Will you please take some silly, cheesy pictures with me?”

“As if I could ever turn that opportunity down,” he took your hand again and started to practically run towards the booths with you in tow, “these are going to be good!”

Frankie pulled you in the nearest one, sitting on the hard little bench and pulling you into his lap. You made a small sound of surprise but quickly settled in, looking at him with the sweetest eyes that made him melt instantly. You quickly scrolled through all the little options before selecting the ones you liked best. 

“Alright,” you turned to him with a jokingly serious expression on your face, “no funny business but only funny faces. These are going on the fridge, so you better make them good.”

“I think I can handle that, little Bee,” he promised as you pressed the button to turn on the timer.

For the first couple of photos you both made silly faces, cracking yourselves up more than anything. These were going to be a perfect memory of your first time at the fair together. Just before the last photo was taken, Frankie delicately turned your face to his and gently kissed you. It was so easy to get lost in him, to melt into him that you almost forgot where you were. That was until the loud voice in the booth let you know that the photos were printing. You jumped a little and pulled back from him before both of you broke into a little laugh. 

“Francisco,” you couldn’t even pretend to be annoyed before you took the initiative and kissed him again, pulling him as close as possible in that tight little space. It was easy to get lost in him, to kiss him and let yourself be kissed by him. If you could have stayed like that forever, you would have done so without hesitation. 

It wasn’t until a knock came outside the booth that you broke apart and an annoyed voice reached your ears, “can you hurry up? Some of us want to use the booth too!”

You exchanged a guilty little smile with Frankie as you got off his lap and ducked out of the booth, quickly grabbing the strips of pictures. He grabbed your hand and the two of you ran off, laughing at the lines of disgruntled people that were waiting for all the different booths. 

“Did we just get yelled at by a kid?’ you asked as you stepped behind one of the buildings to catch your breath. 

“I think we did,” Frankie laughed, that crinkly eyed smile you loved so much appearing on his face, “worth it. Totally worth it. I love you, Bee.”

“I love you, Frankie,” you reached up and gently touched his face, stroking your thumb over his cheek, “thank you for today. I had a lot of fun. Let’s come again next year!”

“We can come back every year if that’s what you want,” he grinned, “and then one day we can get one of the baby goats or lambs or cows and take them home with us to live on the farm we’re going to have.”

“I hope you know I was very serious about, Morales. Don’t play with my heart like that,” you pulled him closer so your lips were brushing against his.

“I wouldn’t dream of it,” he whispered softly, “if that’s what you want, that’s what you'll get, baby. Can I ask you for one thing right now?”

“Anything, Francisco.”

“May I kiss you?”

Nick and Lawrence stand in their full Gilead Uniforms, watching Fred Waterford’s funeral. They're far enough away from the crowd that they can speak unheard. Nick wears a wide closed lip smile on his face. Lawrence keeps sneaking sideways peeks because it's so disarming. Totally out of character.

ive had a problem with my tenses since i was like 5. my father says “this sentence is in the past, present, and future” and that sums it up LOL i also lose motivation, as i said before, and i suck at dialogue/movements of body.

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

ive done it in like merlin magic language, but that was the extent. i think if you can do it, thats badass and you should go for it. im not fluent enough in anything to be comfy with that

OHOH INTERESTING okay ill actually have to say two. my most kudos fic, the truth is finally breaking through, because!!! i remember fucking enjoying myself the entire time. this was a guilty pleasure fic and i enjoyed writing every fucking second and the fact it is my most liked literally means the world to me. people liking the one i had the most fun writing just really makes me 🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰 (plus i added my ToG ladies in it and i LOVED IT) and the second being the book im writing now because i am in love with my characters and i have incredible friends hyping me about it all the time❤️it wouldn’t be possible without them

Pasta! I was listening to Hayley Williams solo albums at work and her track Cinnamon came on and though its a song about her feeling content and truly herself when alone in her home she does sing about letting someone in and them never wanting to leave once she does — which I think is very much our babies! Not to mention the song name reminds me of a certain devil. 👀

Honestly most of the Petals For Armor album might work for them. Another track that hits home is Crystal Clear — feels very soul matching and thread worldy. 😁🖤

Oooooh, ok, totally agree on Cinnamon, just gave it a listen! Like cause, A. the title obviously; B. the line about letting someone in and them not wanting to leave? YUUUP. And C. I think there were times she was content and relieved to be her when she finally got into her apartment away from whatever identity she was living. She could stop putting on the act (even if the surroundings and food were a stage), she could at least move like herself, talk like herself, and (when she had identities who had something like Netflix) could watch what she wanted. So that part hits good too!

Crystal Clear sounds JUST as good, holy shit, bonus points of both very much fitting their souls AND hits a lot of thread world notes, and what she sees when she goes into that space that connects them. I LOVE IT.
