But if you read all the letters from left to right on the New Jersey Turnpike sign, it reads NTPJ which sounds an awful lot like a MBTI label which gives me the idea of custom funny button pins or enamel pins that are in the design of the New Jersey Turnpike logo but with your MBTI result on but I honestly don't believe much on it so I wouldn't do it myself but here's the idea in case you feel inspired.
Last time I did that test I was apparently a INFP but that was May 4th 2021, Imma retake it tonight.

Alan Catlin // Pushing Forty
It wasn’t supposed to be this way:
pushing forty against a bar with no career
to speak of. It was supposed to be easier,
a job in the Arts, respect among peers,
a stipend or two maybe even a Grant.
But, of course, it didn’t work out that way.
Dead end streets are hard to escape from and
I’ve been on one for years--just count the empties.
Not that they mean anything, I know guys with
great jobs who drink almost that much at lunch
and go back to work. Everyone tells me the 60′s
was a great time to grow up in but what if you
still believe working for material success is a
drag, that being plugged in to The System
is just another cause you have to fight
and you want to but you still believe in
paying bills. The only thing that didn’t suck
about the 60′s was the music and a great year
for baseball in 69. Drugs claimed all kinds
of people, man, including my supplier dead
from exiting an on-ramp at sixty miles
an hour on the Jersey Turnpike. I learned about
his funeral about a year too late not being
a full pledged Fraternity brother.
Last week, one of his brothers jumped into
a small man-made lake at Albany State
and got fried in a freak accident.
Brought back memories of college and life
in the fast lane. Did you see The Big Chill?
It opens with Kline giving his kid a bath singing
Jeremiah was a Bullfrog just before he learns
his best friend from college had committed suicide.
Reminded me, we were coming down out of a fog
North of Utica barrelling out of control toward
this construction everyone asleep including
the driver when Three Dog Night arrived
on the radio to save the day. Twenty years later
we’re still going downhill all the way only
in opposite directions. It’s almost like
a game to see who hits the embankment first.

If they lived to drinking age, each Animorph's alcoholic beverage of choice?
Jake: virgin Irish coffee. Yes, he knows that that's just coffee with whipped cream on top. He's tired, okay? He came out to have a good time and he's honestly feeling so attacked right now.
Rachel: cosmopolitan. For when you're feeling girly, but also like you want to get crunked up.
Marco: the house special, whatever that might be. He enjoys sidling up to the bartender and going "surprise me."
Tobias: beer. Much like Marco, he ends up with a different drink depending on the bar, but in his case it's a matter of pointing to a tap at random.
Ax: a New Jersey Turnpike. Also known as the drink you make by taking the mat that sits on the bar and draining its contents into a glass. The name reflects that it tastes kind of like Long Island Iced Tea, if you hold your nose and if it's your fifth drink of the night.
Cassie: bourbon, neat. It was developed by American women, and it's been the subject of several workers' uprisings over the centuries.

i don't think what distinguishes new jersey politics is the fact that it runs on patronage networks i'd argue that's just politics. however the specific flavour of new jersey networks is distinct in its utter reliance on the state's relationship with the banking industry writ large (credit card regulations or lack thereof are a huge part of this but not the whole thing). i'm not even the right peraon to be talking about this bc i simply do not have the citations on hand but more people should understand nj as like essentially running off being a corporate tax haven that will do anything to keep company hqs there. also dc gets a bad rep for being a revolving door which is true but the new jersey-nyc finance relationships are like a whole other ballgame
