Newt fluff. You’re looking for his niffler together and when you find it, he rewards you with a kiss and gives life to his sweetest ideas.

“He’s doing a mess, I know...” Newt said shyly.

You’re both looking for the niffler he lost while being distracted with you.

“I have an idea,” you started “we must divide. I’ll look for it in the left side of the road, you’ll do the same in the right part, okay?”

“Good idea!” He said nicely.

The street was full of people, but in all that mob, you noticed something shiny in an angle and a small dark figure nearby. You got nearer and nearer to it and you recognized Newt’s niffler.

“Here is it!” You exclaimed, “Here you are, you little thief!”

You picked him up and you reached Newt.

“My silly friend... what did you steal this time?”

The little niffler hinted that he had nothing in the pouch.

“I don’t believe you...” Newt laughed while turning the niffler upside down to see if he had stolen anything.

Nothing came out.

“Good boy...” he smiled goofily “he’s learning.”

Then, he got nearer to you.

“Thank you, Y/n. I wouldn't have made it without you...”

“Oh, that’s nothing Newt... you know I’d do anything for you.”

Your last words gave Newt the courage he needed to do what he had long hoped to.

He gently placed his lips on yours, you noticed him blushing by holding your waist and cupping your face with one of his rough hands. It was a desired kiss, both of you wanted this to happen. As the niffler that Newt was hiding on his coat moved, he burst in laughter and smiled to you. His cheeks were still red and it made you so tender.

You started walking again, this time he was holding your hand.

“I...I want you to come at my place, can you?”

“Yes, Y/n... I’d love to...”

You smiled.

Walking home, he stopped several times just to kiss you and to tell you how beautiful you were, and how happy he was to have had the courage of kissing you.

As you got home, you were on the couch, speaking of books.

“Y/n...” he asked

“Yes, Hufflepuff?”

“...will you be my girlfriend? I mean, I know it’s early but I really like you and... I-I have been feeling like this for a lot... I love you...”

“I feel the same, Newton Scamander.”

You kissed again and you fell asleep on his chest while he was caressing your face, admiring you, holding you.

“I love you.” He whispered.
