My dear Monty,

I write this at the time you have lost your mind, and I hope you come back to your senses so you can read this. I really hope you can read this eventually.

Remember what you told me, when you said you had a dream one night where we had a family? A son and a daughter and a dog, too, all under the roof of the house we bought? I think I had the same dream last night, and I see why you wished for it to be true. You were smiling so widely as the kids held onto your tail, using it as their rollercoaster for that afternoon, and I saw myself holding a camera whilst I sat on the ground with our dog on my lap, its tail wagging as it observed the activity. I was grinning from ear to ear just watching how much of an amazing father you were to them, maybe not just the dream me but the real me, too.

Do you think we'd ever be like that? If not with having a family of our own, then be so happy we can't stop smiling and laughing together in the early morning to the late evening? Will we be as content as they were? I hope so, especially after this whole thing is over.

I promise you, I will find a way to get us out of here—whole and free again just like before. We'll be able to dance to an old song in the sunlight as our coffee brews, and have little dates no matter how late the afternoon gets, and finally sleep in each other's arms as evening hits us just so we can start all over again the next morning.

I love you, my Monty, and I always will. Till the planets crash with each other, I will hold your hand so tight we might as well be one.

In lieu of the lunar eclipse last night (Americas) I shall share a simple hc/drabble

Tokoyami’s family (father side) celebrates the lunar eclipse with a night long bonfire party with dancing and music. Tokoyami’s fondest memory is the one he attended when he was 9 and it was truly the perfect night. This was before his grandparents died and the accident with his parents so everyone was there and so happy. Tokoyami loved dancing back then and him and shadow danced under the blood moon with all his family members.

Of course his family fell apart soon after that and he missed attending any more lunar celebrations. At UA though perhaps in second year there is another lunar eclipse and he is determined to hold his own “little” ceremony for just shadow and him.

This time he will only wakes up for the hour surrounding the total eclipse to dance because of school. But he has such complicated feeling about dancing now. Due to the loss of his family members and those memories of dancing with them he can’t bring himself to dance with anyone except shadow anymore.

Of course, tokoyami wasn’t the only one to stay up to see the eclipse. Ochako, Midoriya, Momo, Jiro, and Shinso are trying to see the moon from a telescope on the roof. But they see toko and shadow sneak off into the woods so they follow them :)

Tokoyami was very excited about the eclipse and couldn’t sleep a wink! Now at 16 he’s resolved a lot of the negative feelings from the past and he just wants to live in this moment…dark shadow is more subdued though. When tokoyami presses them about their uncharacteristic lack of enthusiasm dark shadow—partially fulled by the darkness around them—bursts into tears. They feel responsible for tearing the family apart; they wish things could be how they used to be. Tokoyami easily soothes them by admitting he has the same feelings but reminds shadow they will always have each other. The intruders are found by Shadow once they have calmed down and midoriya is already in tears because he is very empathetic and when shadow cries he cries too. When jiro asks what they are doing Tokoyami explains the event and to everyone’s complete shock asks them if they want to participate. (Tokoyami is a private person and as previously stated has a complex about dancing, but shadow seemed so sad to be alone he really wants to try this for them). Of course they agree and they actually have an amazing time dancing. Tokoyami and dark shadow are amazing dancers together and when shadow lifts him it looks like he’s walking through air. At first jiro borrows Tokoyami’s acoustic bass and plays but toko switches with her towards the end so she can dance with momo. Ochako and mido are dancing for a while until shadow comes over and dances with each of them. The only reason shinso is there is because he was already awake but even he has a good time and dances a bit with momo.

Aizawa tries to crash the party but they had already finished and the eclipse was fading. Everyone escaped before aizawa could see them except tokoyami. He says he was the only one out here all night and will accept any punishment for breaking curfew. Aizawa’s punishment is surprisingly light but Tokoyami’s downright joyous demeanor is throwing him for a loop and he just wanted to go to bed.

In the end tokoyami and shadow might not be able to get their old family back but they have a new one that’s just as good.

a bit late, but I got my first ever nice shots of a lunar eclipse! definitely want to try better another time with a tripod (I still haven't gotten one lol) but happy with the results so far (｡^ᴗ^ )

NEW DESIGNS???

Different body types (more info below)

Sun: Base DCA Model. Thin and flexible. Built for the theatre originally.

Moon: A more "cushion-y" bodytype for nap time.

Solar: Bigger hands, feet, and more "industrial". Built to be stronger and more like plated to build and work ya know.

Lunar: Idk he's just small. He has a shorter torso and his legs are stronger so he can run I guess lol.

Eclipse: Thinner and weaker. Parts of his body can kinda like "extend" like a telescope does, hence how he makes himself taller.

Little bonus facts:

Solar's previous body was a Halloween Sun and Moon model that has been sitting in storage. He could retract his rays, but they couldn't move side to side like Sun's.

That's also why Jack is a Halloween themed model.

"Lil Lunar" as I call that model, Lunar's model with the pink eyes, is also more cushioned. More so his inner mechanics weren't harmed by the childish things he liked doing. His joints were looser because of how much he moved around.

Eclipse's V2 and V3 models had slots specifically so he could have a cape.

Also Earth made Eclipse's scarf, that's kinda relevent. Yeah.

Thin little b!tch. Mostly meant to look ✨spooky✨ His body is weak and can't handle the power he has. Probably would lose in a fist fight against anyone but Sun. Usually bullets don't break past the anamatronic's shelling but Monty shot him and it hurt because of how weak his body is. He's my little wimp, I love him. He's like an angry kitten.

Project DCA Doll update, #2!

Oh yeah Moon has a 3D face now!

And hands & feet(tho obvi not finished yet, i need to do a second pass on the hands to bulk them up slightly, Sun's hand is there for scale).

I'm finally on the clay stage despite my schedule consistently fighting me. Woo.

I also have aluminum foil this time around to help sculpt the bases of pieces so the pieces stay lightweight and avoid it being solid clay. Yaaaay.
