So,, potentially horrid idea just struck me

We've seen things hit the back of different characters' heads and reset or alter something about them. The biggest example I can think of with this was Moonie getting hit by a golf ball and only being able to speak in Spanish until the internal language/speech issue was fixed on a computer

But. What if getting hit in the back of the head did other things, besides changing the animatronic's main language or y’know. Killing them. Like what almost happened with Moon's motherboard, courtesy of Nexus being ✨️Quirky✨️

What if it could reset their personalities, and the fix for that was uploading the most recent backup of theirs to sort of,, overwrite it?

More specifically, my reason for this post was because I imagined a god awful situation (for Sun and Moon, and probably also Monty) in which something strikes the back of Solar's head, and his personality gets reset to being that of a "classic" Eclipse (ex: rude, mean, potentially dangerous, Evil™️, and very "look at me I'm so much better and smarter than you")

If we're getting uber specific here,, V2 Eclipse. That's who I'm referring to, since that's whose code V4 kinda sorta borrowed from when he was in the process of bringing Solar back, I think

So one second, Solar's crouched down, fixing something in the pizzeria that's in the main area, where guests are walking around. Then, a kid throws something, it whacks Solar in the back of the head, he's stunned for a minute, and then automatically hates everyone and makes it his life goal to see Sun and Moon suffer

They can fix him and make him his normal self again, of course, but he has to be restrained and forcibly connected to a computer first. The upload of his most recent backup takes time to complete, and he spends every second of it fighting and raging, and practically spewing hate at everyone he sees

People call moffats era misogynistic but it has NOTHING on this. Belinda had a whole set of memories and a life where she was living in a shared house working as a nurse being a woman in her thirties who didn't conform to the patriarchal ideals of motherhood. And that whole version of herself has been erased and replaced by a 'happy ending' when she had a daughter all along. But she didn't have a daughter all along??? Poppy only existed because of conrads wish. Conrad, who wished for a misogynistic, queerphobic, and ableist world. Why is this version where she is a mother the better ending? Why was Belinda and the Doctor's excitement at travelling together when Poppy was being erased framed as something tragic and wrong?? Say what you will about moffat but at least he explored the horror of unexpected motherhood in series 6. Why was Belinda nothing but happy and fulfilled at being a mother?
