"Cole… That’s too much sugar-" You interjected, grasping your boyfriend’s arm before he could empty the sugar into the mixing bowl.

“Oh.. my bad, (Name)." Cole chuckled sheepishly, his smile betraying his embarrassment as he glanced at you, “Sorry,” He added.

With a playful roll of your eyes, you aided him in adjusting the sugar amount, "No wonder you’re a sucky chef, Cole," you teased, prompting a scoff from him.

“Me? A sucky chef, please!" He exaggerated the ‘please,’ earning a knowing look from you.

“What? Did you know I’m secretly Gordon Ramsey’s love child?" He grinned.

“In your dreams you probably are," you laughed, causing his face to drop in mock disbelief.

“How dare you? Take this." Cole took the flour that was laying on the counter, grabbed some from the packet and tossed it into your face.

“Cole..! Stop!" You squealed, shielding your face with your arms.

“Nuh uh, you are going to face my flour wrath, (Name)!" He persisted, continuing to shower you with flour until you managed to wrestle the packet from him. Soon, both of you were engaged in a flour war, filling the kitchen with laughter.

Eventually, his arms found their way around your hips, pulling you close as you leaned against his chest, both of you still giggling,

"Cole, I love you so much," you said playfully, feeling him freeze at your words. His pause prompted you to furrow your eyebrows and stare up at him. Cole gazed at you with eyes filled with passion and adoration before he leaned in to peck your lips,

“I love you too, (Name)."

He kissed you again, and again and again. Until you both were just contently sitting in each other’s arms, embraced within the euphoria.

Unfortunately for the two of you, the euphoria was to be put on hold—You both had a bit of some cleaning up to do…

The brown haired boy seemed to be bubbling with anxiety, fidgeting with his fingers as he kicked his feet against the medical bed. You grabbed the first aid kit, placing it beside him with a huff, meeting Jay's eyes.

“Do we really have to do this?" he whined, but you reassured him with a smile.

“Of course, dear. We don't want your boo-boo to worsen, do we?" His ears turned pink at your pet name as you dabbed antiseptic on a cloth.

“It's just a cut, (Name)! I don't want to go through all this," Jay pleaded as you brought the cloth closer to him. You looked at him sympathetically,

“Exactly, it's just a cut, so why are you so scared?" You paused, a playful glint in your eye, "Aren't you supposed to be my brave boyfriend?" Jay's expression softened, a grin spreading across his face,

“You're right! I am your brave boyfriend!" he proclaimed proudly. You grinned as you brought the cloth to his cheek.

He winced softly at the burning sensation before the feeling got replaced with your delicate fingers. You applied a Thomas the Train band-aid to his cut and swiftly placed a small kiss on your boyfriend’s cheek, “There you go, your boo-boo is all better now,”

“Thanks doc,” Jay said, his smile cheesy and so incredibly contagious that it brought a smile to your own lips. His bright brown eyes staring into yours as though you were a delicately painted painting, simply a work of art for him to stare at. You cusp his cheek as you both continue staring at each other, you caressed his soft yet warm skin under your fingertips,

“I love you, Jay," you spoke softly. He grinned cheekily, his cheeks lightly dusted pink at your words.

"Well, I love you more!" he retorted playfully.

“No, I love you more," you countered.

“Nope! I love you the most mostful and mostest!" he declared, pulling you into a tight hug and nuzzling his head into your neck. As you let out a small giggle he whispered into your ear,

“I love you, (Name), forever."

After enduring the agonizing training, you found yourself sprawled on the floor, Kai, your boyfriend of two months, grinning down at you, his weapon by his side.

His sweat-dampened hairs framed his face as he leaned closer to tease you, but suddenly, his playful smirk fell. He tumbled forward, landing directly on top of you. He muttered a curse as his eyes locked with yours, and your breath hitched. You both were merely centimeters between each other and in that moment, you swore the world seemed to stand still.

"Hey, sweetheart," he whispered, his voice soft and gentle, “Seems like I fell for you,”

"Hi Kai," you snickered, finding his attempt at being flirty endearing. "Seems like I caught you."

"Sorry about that," Kai chuckled, rolling off to lie beside you on the dojo floor. Together, you gazed up at the ceiling, embracing the silence in the room, until you couldn't resist stealing a glance at his side profile. Holding back the urge to caress his face, you traced the features with your eyes. You met his gaze as his smirked, his eyes staring into yours knowingly.

He wiggled his eyebrows playfully as he teased you, "Like what you see, sweetheart?"

"I love it," you whispered sweetly, brushing a strand of his hair before meeting his eyes again. "I love all of you."

Kai froze, his confident demeanor crumbling as a blush painted his cheeks. His face turning as bright as his gi. His face faltering into a slight frown.

“You don't mean that," his voice dropped low into a whisper, insecurity lacing his words. You could tell he was feeling incredibly vulnerable.

"Of course I do," you promised him, a gentle smile gracing your lips as you stare into his crestfallen eyes, “I love you Kai.”

He stared into your face, trying to decipher if you were truly being genuine with him. His face brightened up as he realized you were. A sly grin returned to Kai's face, but his eyes held a warmth that made your body melt. He grabbed your hand from your side and put it up to his lips,

“I love you too, sweetheart."

Lloyd woke abruptly, his body drenched in sweat, heart pounding against his chest as his nightmare caught up to him. They’ve begun appearing more frequently the last couple of years… His eyes darted anxiously around the room, paranoia lingering in his gaze.

“Lloyd?” You whispered, concern lacing your voice, you could barely see him though the darkness.

"Sorry for waking you, darling," he murmured back, his voice quivering. Sitting up, you touch his trembling arm softly,

“Another bad dream?” you asked. The boy didn’t vocalize his thoughts but instead turned to you to nod his head at you like a sad puppy.

"You're okay, Lloyd," you reassured him soothingly, you brushed a strand of his sweat drenched hair away from his troubled face.

“You’re okay,” you repeated, wrapping your arms around him. You felt him crumble beneath your touch, he sunk into your chest as he stared into your eyes. Searching them for reassurance. You begun playing with his blonde locks, a soft hum escaping your lips. You stole a glance at him. The moonlight cast a gentle glow upon his face, revealing the subtle contours of his gentle features. His eyes closed, his breath steadying into a rhythmic pattern,

"Lloyd?" you whispered, uncertainty lacing your voice. There was no response, only the soft sound of his breathing filling the room. Did he already fall back to sleep? You paused, carefully staring down at his face,

“Well, good night Lloyd... I love you," you murmured softly, turning your gaze towards the window.

Unseen by you, a small smile graced his lips, a ghost of a whisper that you unfortunately didn’t pick up,

“I love you too,”

You sighed softly as you slipped into your gi, the weight of your mission pressing against your shoulders even before the sun had fully risen. With your weapon at your side, you gazed out at the horizon, thinking about the mission you had to do. It was a task that demanded your immediate attention, one that couldn't wait for the rest of the ninja to stir from their slumber.

As you prepared to summon your elemental dragon, a familiar voice yelled out to you,

"(Name)! Wait!" Your girlfriend, Nya, still in her Spiderman pajamas, dashed towards you with urgency in her step,

“Nya? What’s wrong?" you asked, concern knitting your brow.

"Nothing! I just wanted to say goodbye to you before you left," she replied, quickly kissing you on the cheek. A warmth spread through you at her touch, a feeling of comfort and belonging that only she could ignite.

"Bye (Name)," she said, her smile gentle, but then she hesitated, a flicker of uncertainty crossing her features.

“What’s up?” you prompted, curious about the sudden change in her facial expression.

With a sheepish grin, Nya shook her head and presented you with a basket of food. "I um... I also wanted to give you this basket of food. I didn’t want you to be hungry while on your mission, so take it as your breakfast... I mean it’s obviously not going to be as great as Zane’s cooking, I’m sure—"

You interrupted her rambling by accepting the basket with gratitude, your heart swelling with affection for her thoughtful gesture,

“Thank you, Nya,” You stared into her eyes in adoration. Sincerity seeping through your words.

"Of course! Stay safe, (Name)!" Nya beamed, her happiness contagious as she pulled you into a quick one-armed hug.

"Bye Nya, love you," you said absentmindedly, your focus already shifting towards the task at hand as you climbed onto your dragon's back. You weren’t paying attention to her flustered behavior.

You soared into the sky, leaving Nya behind on the ground. Little did you know, as you flew off into the distance, Nya was left beaming with joy, her heart bursting with the simple yet profound words you had spoken.

"I love you too, (Name)!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with happiness as she watched you disappear into the horizon.

With a gleeful bounce, she couldn't contain her excitement any longer. "THEY SAID THEY LOVE ME—“ She quickly scowled to herself,

“Control yourself, Nya, but still!! They said they loved me!!" she squealed, her laughter echoing in the quiet morning air. Most likely awaking most of the Monastery.

You sighed in frustration, your forehead meeting the cool surface of your desk with a dull thud. The blinking cursor on your computer screen taunted you as you tried to summon the words for your research paper. Procrastination had led you to this point, with the deadline looming close.

Lost in your thoughts, you barely registered the muffled noise at your door until it creaked open, revealing the analytical gaze of the ice ninja, Zane,

"Forgive me for interrupting, but I heard sounds of frustration and thought I would offer my assistance," he said, his voice calm and measured.

You managed a weak smile at his considerate gesture. "It's not a problem, I've just hit a roadblock," you admitted, gesturing helplessly towards the computer screen.

"I see no genuine roadblock, do you perhaps mean that figuratively?" Zane inquired, his literal interpretation of your words drawing a chuckle from you. As he approached your desk and effortlessly began typing away at the keyboard, you watched in awe as he swiftly completed the research paper that had been taunting you for hours,

"I believe this should suffice in terms of information. All that's left is to write your conclusion," he remarked, turning towards you with a straightforward expression.

You were dumbfounded by his efficiency, unable to believe he had solved your problem in mere minutes,

“You didn't have to do that!" you exclaimed, your gratitude tinged with surprise.

"I was simply assisting you," Zane replied, his tone neutral, mistaking your reaction for displeasure. You rose from your seat suddenly and enveloped him in a grateful hug,

"Thank you, Zane. I love you," you murmured against his shoulder.

For a moment, there was silence as Zane processed your words, his expression unreadable. Slowly, he brought his arms back up to exchange the hug,

"(Name), you are the optimal configuration for my circuits, the irreplaceable code for my function. To put it in simpler terms, I love you too," he finally responded, his words tinged with a hint of warmth that belied his nindroid nature.

hello!! this post is saying im not dead, just reeeeaallly tired and want a break heheheheee. sry if you wanted nya, i just needed post something so yall know i'm alive :(

KAI ★

you normally run up to him like that when a mission was claimed successful. other times you do it just to see his reaction, and it always makes you laugh. sometimes you just hug him, but other times you just start spinning. although he's a ninja and has trained to be imune to sneak attacks, you always make him scream when you randomly jump at him and spin him around.

your a giggling mess when he spins faster, but not fast enough to do spinjitzu.

he's noticed you do this whenever your really happy, so he knows when your unhappy because you won't hug him and spin him around like your always did.

"is that really as fast as you can go?" kai grinned as you spun both of you around. that statement ended with you both falling on the ground after 50x spins in a row.

JAY ★

loves it when you hug him and spin him around. it's got him smiling ear to ear and giggling left and right. your arms are normally wrapped around his neck whiles his are wrapped around your waist as you both spin. sometimes your legs are wrapped around his torso, but thats only when you know jay will just randomly let go of you for fun..one time leading you tumbling to the floor and banged your head on the table. big trust issues were lost that day.

"want to go faster?" jay grinned as he locked eyes with you. a wicked smiled formed on your face as jay spun, a blue tornado surrounded your vision. yours and his laugher were heard from the tornado as nya and cole walked by.

this is a normal thing you both do now.

COLE ★

when you first did this, cole was scared. he didn't know you were going to randomly start spinning and accdiently did spinjitzu. you cried his name out as you held onto him for dear life. he noticed you started doing this more when you were happy or a mission was successful.

all he's nervous about is that your going to be to extreme and cause you both to fall over, him landing ontopnof you because your the one spinning him.

other then that he's all for this now. he'll even join in one the spinning whne he's in the mood and lift you into the air.

ZANE ★

he just lets you spin him around. assuming your running at him for a hug, he opens his arms with a smile, but he's caught off guard when you jump at him and spin on your heels.

he yelps as he grabs onto you as you both spin full cricle multiple times. your laughter fills the room, zane's following soon after.

he questions you about your sudden out burst, and you reply with your tounge poking out.

he finds this cute and nevr gets upset when you randomly do it now and again.

LLOYD ★

he thought this would be a normal hug. so when you suddenly lift him off the ground and start spinning he let out a scream while gripping your shoulders for support.

he laughs out your name as you continue to spin. once you placed him down you give a playful kiss on the lips and waved him off.

he was left in a dizzy, goofy smile mess.

he tried to do the same thing to you to get you dizzy, have a taste of your own medicene. however, to his surprise you laughed and allowed himto keep spinning you.

For how smart he can be at times, it’s really a shame that he starts acting like he can’t do anything without your help the second you show up. Relegating himself to sitting back and letting you do all the work to please him and yourself.

The only time he puts in effort is during punishment, when all he’s allowed to do is get off by pathetically humping your foot. Even then he has to work hard and be a good boy to be able to cum, constantly edging himself until you tell him he can cum.

Your eyes scanned the arcade you left your sibling at for about 3 hours. Some sibling you are, how can I leave them there? You spoke to yourself mentally as you searched it up and down.

You had your hood over your head to make yourself less...open. Last thing you need to worry about is having a crowd sworm around you and you lose your chances on finding your little sibling.

Mother/Father's gonna kick my aaaasss. You panicked as you asked people of they have seen a little kid and described what they wore. You spoke in a different voice so you don't risk on getting attention. You already had sunglasses and your hood up, but people have sharp eyesight. You learned that the hard way.

It was hard being a famous singer at 16 years old.

You could never show people the real you.

Which is why you rarely made friends. You made a couple, but not much. You still loved them with all your heart. You never wanted to draw much attention to yourself anyways.

"S/N! S/N, I'm serious, where are you!?" You called out for the 23rd time, you lost count to be honest, but it feels like you've been searching for hours.

"And my older brother, Y/N L/N, is one of the bestest brothers I could ask for! He is a famous singer and better then whatever you all will be when your older like him!"

You heard your name and you looked to the source of it to find your little sibling surrounded by kids a year older then them. Ah, S/N! You cursed under your breath as you rush over to them.

"Jay?" Nya called out to her friend for the third time. He yelps as he jumps and chuckled nervously.

Your mind has been racing.

Later that night, you were in your room sitting at your desk. You tapped your pencil on the wood of your desk, tapping your foot to the beat as you stared at an empty piece of paper.

Jay and Cole were gaming together in the Monestary. Jay was currently beating Cole in this game, causing him to get cocky.

"Jay! What the heck!" Cole yelled, seeing his character die to Jay's character. Jay giggled triumply smirking at his best friend. "Suck it, Master of Earth!"

Cole rolled his eyes and gently tossed the controller to the ground, leaving the room and to the kitchen. He left Jay alone, but a couple minutes later Kai ran in almsot knocking into the wall.

"JAYJAYJAY!"

"KAI?" Jay screamed back as Kai grabbed the remote from the Lighting Ninja's hand and handed him a phone. "Wha-?" Before he could reply, Kai threw on headphones over Jay's head and unlocked his phone.

"One, how did you get my phone? Two, how do you know my password-?"

"SHSHS! Just listen to Y/N L/N's new album. This is his first ever song for that album."

And with that, the song began to play. Jay stayed quiet and listen to the beat and the melody.

Jay's eyes blinked a couple of times as the song finished. He took the words and tried to think, why do those features sound so familiar. Kai removed the headphones and waited for Jay to reply, "Well?"

"I-I like the beat." Jay shurgged, unsure what Kai wanted to hear from him. "No, you dumbass! Y/N's new song is about you! Didn't you listen?" Kai started, "The ocean blue eyes, the brown hair, the freckles!?" Kai cupped Jay's cheek to prove his point.

He let go of Jay who was stunned to speak.

"Wait..." Jay began, standing to his feet forgetting all about the game he was playing. "Are you saying Y/N L/N fricking loves me? Or like, has a crush on me?"

Kai nods his head.

AS Jay watched as Kai answered his question, his face melted into a goody grin and he began to chuckle nervously. "Y/N-" He pants, "I-me. He."

Suddenly he's laughter filled the Monestary, "WAHO!!"

Kai stared at him as he ran out of the room and down the hall, running into Zane. Jay grabbed his arms and spun him around, "Jay?!" Zane cried, almost hitting the floor as Jay lets him go and ran.

Kai shook he's head, but a small smile formed on his face immediately after.

Small blurb of GN!reader cleaning Lloyds wounds after a fight.

Lloyd had left for a mission about six hours ago and I was nervously tapping my fingers against the table.

We had not been able to contact him after his communication devise broke leaving us to hear nothing but static noises.

Everyone reassured me he’d be fine, it’s Lloyd and it’s a small mission, though I am still worried and up. I think it about one in the morning.

Sensei said that if he wasn’t back by five in the morning we’d go look for him.

Suddenly the door opened and Lloyd stumbled in, turning on the light. “Y/n?” I looked at him owlishly while he frowned.

“Why are you up?” He asked. “I was worried, your com broke, I was waiting for you.” I said and he gave me a small smile.

“That’s sweet, doll, but you should really sleep.” I wanted to agree with him, but then noticed the blood stains on his gi.

“Lloyd- you’re hurt!” I got up and rushed over, examining the deep gash on his arm and waist and then the burn mark on his shoulder.

“I’m fine-” he started but I glared at him. “No you’re not, come.” He grabbed his arm and dragged him to the kitchen, taking out the healing kit.

“Love, I’m fine, really, go to sleep.” He said but I glared at him. “Lloyd, don’t even start, you’re clearly hurt, don’t try to act as if you’re fine.” I scolded.

“Take that off.” I commanded as I pointed to the top of his Gi while putting some bandages on the counter.

“If you wanted to see me undressed you could’ve just said so”

“Lloyd!”

“Alright, alright, fine.” He chuckled before taking off the upper part of his Gi.

I took an ice-pack from the fridge, put it in a tea towel and pressed it against his shoulder.

“Hold.” I said and he listened and put up his good arm to hold it in place.

I then started to disinfect his wounds, making him hiss in pain. “Thought you said you where fine.” I mocked making him roll his eyes.

After disinfecting and cleaning the wound, I wrapped it with bandages, making him complain it was to tight.

“Lloyd, quit complaining I’m helping you here.” I said after finishing with his arm. “You’re going to cut of my blood circulation.” He said making me huff out a small laugh.

I then started to wrap the bandages around his waist while trying not to blush, making him give me a cocky grin.

When I was done, I took the ice pack back from him. “Do you want another one?” I asked and he shook his head. “I promise I am fine.” He said and I sighed before kissing his good shoulder from behind and wrapping my arms around his waist, careful not to hurt him.

“Tired?” He asked and I nodded softly, making him let out a low chuckle. “Let’s get you to bed.”

You and Lloyd sat on a bench outside, shoulder to shoulder, watching kids play in the distance after a difficult and exhausting day. You hugged your legs close to your body as you leaned on him. You took a bite of the apple in your hand, holding the piece between your teeth before taking it in your hand and lifting it up to his lips. Your fingertips brushed against the plump pink flesh for a second and you felt your chest growing warm and heavy. His hand ghosted over yours over and over again. It brushed against your waist, but it didn't dare to lay on your skin. A strange energy was going through your bodies. It was something sweet and shy and... distrusting. You needed that hollow and depth in your chest to be expressed, to be heard and satisfied. You needed his hands to embrace you and you needed to embrace him too. You longed for more than just a friendly hug after worrying you'll never see him again after every mission. You wanted him to squeeze you in his arms, break your bones even from his tight grip. But that's weird, isn't it? You were hungry for him in such a pretty way, it was so delicate. It's like the love described in children's books. It's so innocent in a way. You took a bite from the fruit, watching it get brown in the parts you didn't pay attention to. You bit down a piece for him.

Your mind scattered. You stared down at the red dust on the ground that coated the grifers of your sneakers. The children's chatter brought you back to reality every once in a while.

"I love you." You spoke in a tired voice, in all seriousness. He let out a sigh as he leaned back on the bench.

You stood there, the weight of your words heavy in the air, mingling with the fading warmth of the day. Lloyd's silence was deafening, a stark contrast to the playful laughter of the children in the distance. What were they laughing about again?

The apple browned in forgotten places. Uncertainty gnawed at you. What made you say that? The dust on your sneakers seemed to mock your confusion, grounding you in the reality of the moment. "I love you," you repeated, your voice barely above a whisper. Lloyd's response hung in the air, a void where words should have been. His hand on your shoulder offered little solace, he seeked comfort in you, a feeble attempt to bridge the growing distance between you. You don't get it. He doesn't either. Didn't. Still doesn't.

He was tired, you were tired, you were feeling too weak to expect anything from him, let alone feel anything intense. Lloyd tried to think of anything to say to you, but his mind gave up on him. He couldn't even form a sentence. For gods- why did you even say that...

"Don't worry 'bout it.." You murmured. Jesus, he didn't even look at you. You stood up and you threw the apple in the trash bin. "See you at home." You started rushing towards an open space to get your dragon. Each step felt like a burden, dragging you further away from the warmth you craved. The weight of his silence pressed upon you, suffocating any hope that lingered in the air. Why did you walk so fast? Why did you leave? Why did you say all of this in the first place?

You reached your room and you locked up. You slid down the wood to a deep squat as you stared blankly at the things in front of you. You couldn't even think about that.. situation? No. Uh- what happened. It's a proper way to describe..that. After an hour of mindless vegetation around your room, you crawled out to get the leftover vodka from Kai's birthday to drown your sorrows and to numb every logic thought.

You sat in the bathtub with a shot glass accompanying you. You stared down at the glass bottle and you looked at your distorted face in the reflection. Were you getting brown? That would be a pity. You filled the glass halfway with the the false belief that "this was the last one" and you downed it. The alcohol slid down your throat, it burned your insides, but it didn't burn your thoughts. Just made them weird and distorted and out of place. What the actual fuck did you just do today? Yes, what the actual fuck was that? Jesus Christ, pour another, pouranotherpouranother-

The bathroom door opened and you braced yourself for whoever you may have to kick out. You saw a blue outline and a tuft of brown curly hair before Jay stepped in fully. His expression was blurry in your intoxicated state, how did you even tell it was him? THE BLUE. The blue. Of course, yes . You must have looked at him with your genuine intent to kick him out, because that blurry expression did say something. And it was something. Else. Fuck it, you're going to be throwing up your internal organs in an hour, who cares about his dumb expression?

Jay sat down at the edge of the tub, you pulled your blanket over yourself a little in shame. He pulled the bottle out of your arms. You didn't protest. Drank enough, you said it yourself.

"What's up...?" He asked warily.

"Mnothin'.." You slurred out.

At that word, he slid down to sit with you in the tub, his legs hanging out. You looked at him guiltily, like a kid who did something against their parents will.

"I told him I love him." You mouthed the words quietly as if hoping he wouldn't hear. You scooted over to him and you cuddled up to him. He embraced you silently. He kissed the top of your head sweetly. The rejection didn't hurt as much as the hunger did. You had started to need Lloyd long ago. Just as Jay needed you. In the same way he craved your warmth and your sweetness. It was almost the same. Yet that man held you in your sorrow. It was his sorrow too, you know that, right? He held you through it and for a few moments, he made you feel loved, the same way you imagined Lloyd making you feel loved. He held you so tenderly and he kissed your head so gently. Maybe it was that crap in your system, but you leaned in more, you asked for more like a little feral animal. You let yourself shed a few tears on his neck. You satisfied his need in a way. It was almost the same as... having you. He just needed to pretend a little. It was almost as good. He leaned in and he kissed your forehead. The silence was comforting. He understood. He let you embrace your emotions to the best of your abilities.

"There's nothing to be embarrassed about." Jay spoke after a few minutes of counting the tiles in the bathroom. "Shit happens. I get it."

"You've done stupid crap like that?" You murmured groggily.

"Mhm. Confessing to a person who doesn't love you back is a must do. You should cross it off your bucket list." He tried to make a joke to lighten up the mood, but that brought upon you an urge to lick the empty vodka bottle for a stray drop of alcohol and then throw up all over the bathroom floor.

"Too soon?"

"Mhm." You nodded as you scooted closer in his arms.

Lloyd

Waking up with Lloyd is something that’ll always be funny and so, so loving. Both of you are quite thoughtful when it comes to the other's rest, wanting the other to get as much time as possible.

If he wakes up before you, he’ll stay as still as possible and just hope you’ll wake up soon with no disturbance.

But in actuality, you woke up with him and didn’t want to disturb him. And it seemed to work, faking sleep and all. Keeping your breaths heavy and tossing as you usually do.

Eventually one of you will catch on, starting your morning with a small fit of giggles.

Lloyd will link his hands around you and hold you close, peppering your face with kisses to activate your morning routine. He does it until it tickles terribly, and you’re left giggling and pushing his face away. But he only backs down if you give him his good morning kiss.

Unfortunately, he usually has places to be, so he holds you extra tight just in case, trying to savor every precious minute with you.

Usually it’s you who gets him out of bed, prying yourself out of his tight hold to stumble out onto the cold floorboard of the monastery. Stretching your limbs and starting your own day.

He likes to sit back, watching you rummage around the room until you’ve had enough of his laziness and try to force him out of bed. (you fail, he’s gone limp)

But once he’s finally done being grumpy and stubborn, he gets up and gets his second kiss of the morning, which means he’s ready to start the day!

Zane

Zane doesn’t necessarily sleep, but sort of powers down in the night, if he wants to.

He’s stiff, really stiff until his system reboots and he’s had his full charge of robo-rest.

Usually, when he becomes conscious, he’ll carefully slip out of bed and shuffle around to dress himself quietly. It’s fairly early, around 6:00 AM when he heads out to cook breakfast for his team (who should be up and running by about 7:00) and saves his love’s food for last, making sure it’s warm and cooked to perfectly cooked.

He tidies the kitchen, the halls, and their living areas before he decides it’s time to wake you up around 8:30-9:00 (10 on weekends)

When waking you, he’s gentle and so very sweet. Carefully shaking you before speaking out loud.

“It’s time to wake up, my Dove.”

Sometimes he can’t help but stand for a few minutes beforehand, watching you peacefully. It makes him feel so joyous at how relaxed you feel in the bed you share. In all honesty, he watches you sleep for hours before he actually powers down (in a non-creepy way, I swear)

To make sure you’re up, he turns you over, your face towards the ceiling. He kisses your forehead and makes sure you’re not going to fall back asleep before backing away.

He’s already set out your clothes, a few options you may like for the day. Any morning medicines or vitamins are next to you on the nightstand, with a glass of water on standby and the good morning note he leaves just incase you wake up early.

Zane smiles when you finally sit up, groggily to take your sips of water. He watches lovingly as you force your gremlin body out of bed to stumble into his arms.

Kai

Kai refuses to get out of bed in the mornings.

He’s such a grouchy guy, but who isn’t when his peaceful rest is disturbed so suddenly?

Being a ninja means he’s usually on a tight schedule, at the whims of others and spontaneous disasters. So he admires the extra rest he gets, without having Zane knocking on his door at 6:00 AM sharp to wake him.

But with you, it’s relatively different. You’re the early bird out of the two of you, as you tend to wake up a little too early. Sometimes it’s difficult to go back to bed after waking so suddenly.

To avoid being lonely in your room, you try to wake him, as nicely as possible.

In return, you get a gentle grunt, and a refusal to wake. A simple, unconscious ‘No’ pushed past his lips.

You take it lightly, getting up and fumbling around the room until you find an appropriate time to try again.

His mask fits snugly against his face, flames embroidered onto the fabric. He lay with his mouth slightly agape, and a few small snores falling out. He looked so funnily peaceful that you thought about taking a picture, but decided to spare him that embarrassment. 

At this point, you're ready for him to wake up. Tugging the blanket off of him roughly and raising your voice, cheerily yelling at him to wake up and love you. It makes him so cranky and whiny, pulling at the blanket and trying to curl up so tightly in hopes that he sinks down into the mattress and falls into a world of comfortable pillows and fulfilling sleep.

It's gonna take a hot minute to actually get him out of his fetal position, but he'll eventually do it (with mild complaints). Groggily pull off his mask and stretch his arms so high you can jab at his tummy. But he doesn't mind, leaning over to grab you and put his entire body weight on you to return the annoyance of waking him.

Also, I must mention, his morning breath reeks. Sorry not sorry.

Jay

The bluebird is everywhere on the bed throughout the night. And tends to wake up in a big, wide starfish position that leaves you with about a 2x1 space in the upper corner (if you're lucky).

You wake at about the same time, with him managing to take up even more space when stretching. His arms pressing into you tends to wake you fully, and you have a habit of smacking him away.

This is what gets him up.

He acts so maliciously sweet, it almost makes you want to forgive him for shoving you face-first into the wall at two am. He gives you his pretty boy smile and wraps his arms around you, bringing you to the center of the disheveled mess of pillows and blankets he'd made. He holds you close to his chest and speaks to you first thing.

"Sleep good, lovebug?" "Shut up."

Afterward, he just likes laying there, holding you close while you check everything on your phone. Watching you go through your tik tok feed, making the occasional comment towards the content you receive from friends or what appears on your for you page.

It takes Zane almost beating down the door until the two of you actually manage to get out of bed and get ready for the day.

Sleep and sleep attire brings comfort to the both of you so it’s a surprise he doesn't just train in his pajamas (he's tried, the stench it held that night made you gag).

On a regularly calm day you'll stay in your pajamas and complete shenanigans around the house until Jay can return to the comfort of his own jammies, and enjoy the rest of his day with you <33.

Cole

He is a bear, a big bear, a big bear who hibernates at night.

The man holds and produces so much warmth the two of you can sleep comfortably without a blanket sometimes.

Waking up with him is simple, each day, at least in his eyes.

There are many steps he takes until he's comfortable with waking you up.

Usually, the first thing he does is blink, then starts feeling around to make sure you're there, and you aren't just a figment of his imagination or a wild dream in his head.

Then he slowly removes you from your spot, carefully so as to not disturb you, and moves you so you're laying on him, and tossing the blanket over the two of you.

Lastly, he waits five minutes or so until he starts to fall back asleep. He does, accidentally of course, and due to his obscure position it causes him to snore.

Snore so loudly, it startles you awake and your movement wakes him in the process.

He thinks it's a little funny but feels bad for startling you awake.

Cole likes to forget his responsibilities for that moment, and instead spend that time holding you.

He absolutely refuses to function without his morning snuggles and acts all grumpy if they are denied. But hey, the quicker he's done with his daily ninja duties, the quicker he can go back to sprawling on the bed and absorb your body weight on top of him.
