I really wish that in Season 11 they had brought up on screen that Aspheera blasted Zane in the past.

Because since they hadn't there's a lot of confusion with people thinking that time passes differently in the Never Realm, which is extremely more confusing with the Merge and whatnot now.

And I know it would've been hard to talk about it while in the actual Never Realm during the Season, but they could have placed another conversation between Wu and Aspheera where he talks about the ninja going to look for Zane, and Aspheera telling him that his ninja are too late, and that due to her sending him back in time, Zane is probably either dead or no where near where he was sent.

But since they can't really do that, let's hope the time issue is brought up in DR to finally get everyone on the same page in that regard.

going back and rewatching ninjago (post oni march) im seeing so many little things that I didn’t notice before

just finished the never realm arc and tbh I completely forgot ab Zane’s visions when I first watched it but now knowing what happened I just-AHHHHH

Lloyddd! In the never realm gi. I always thought the ninja should've gotten more fabric/wool and such from the village folk and all. It was extremely cold. (Like why was Cole sleeveless hello) I may also post other designs later :)

i just made an insane discovery!

so i was listening to ninjago music, as one does, and the score from zane’s true potential played, and then it immediately played the never realm score after that and THEY PUT ZANE’S LITTLE THEME THINGY IN THE BEGINNING OF THE NEVER REALM SCORE underneath the main music

Its so funny that Arin and Sora have shown to have significantly better emotional intelligence than any of the ninja from all of the old seasons combined. "You should be taking care of your mental health" and "yeah saving the world is upsetting! no wonder you're having stress dreams" oh my precious children. You are surrounded by a teen dad with massive self-worth issues, the only one of two people who remembers the genie incident and also turned into the sea once, guy who's died like 3+ times and committed genocide under mind control, and a child soldier who's been living the hard knock life since age 2.

So since reptiles don’t do well in cold weather snake Kai would’ve had an extra scary time in the ice emperor arc without his fire powers; Bro would’ve been fighting for his life :(

Nope, Kai does not have a great time in the Never Realm. Snakes literally do not exist in the Never Realm because the perpetual cold would kill them. Kai's method of locomotion (aka slithering) also involves him having a Lot of his body against the snow, which means more surface area for the cold to leech the heat out of him.

At least he's got friends to help minimize that part, though.

Actually on that note can I get uh blizzardshipping I think that's the name... Morro/Zane dynamic is such relatively unexplored territory I think they could be really interesting...

I'm assuming there are two possible explanations for Fritz's age.

Because I don't think it was that likely that he was alive before the Ice Emperor's rule.

So the two possible explanations I can think of are:

Some Formlings (possibly from elsewhere) had not been frozen, and many years later, probably a couple years before the Ice Emperor's overthrow, two had a kid. This would make Fritz probably closer to age 10. This one may explain better why he was forgotten, if his family was killed by the Emperor while he was still ruling over the Never Realm.

Fritz was born after the overthrow of the Ice Emperor and the Formlings were thawed. This would make him closer to age 6 or 7.

Eventually, the ninja do apologize for making fun of Zane's pink apron - and, upon discovering he threw it out, decide to buy him a newer, even frillier apron to make up for it.

Somehow, the apron has lasted through every apocalypse, every destruction of the Bounty, every death, every food fight. All the chaos they go through, and this apron is perfectly fine. Mint condition. No one knows how Zane keeps it so clean in spite of everything.

(The secret is that Zane has actually had to get rid of his apron several times now, but doesn't have the heart to tell his friends that he's thrown out their heartfelt gift so he just keeps buying identical replicas to keep the con going. He is burdened by the weight of his lies.)
