Dean feeling inferior to Endverse Dean because Endverse Dean founded like 6 different hunter camps and got offered a bunch of territory by a really powerful boss woman with physic powers and therefore got an army.
Just for Dean to then go to Ichabod and charm a powerful boss woman with physic powers to convince an entire trade alliance at the end of the world to give him territory and people to create another hunter base for his army. Under his first year in that world, I must say.
Captain of being oblivious to his own influence AND trying to win competitions against dead versions of himself.

obsessed with the whole "he was my best friend too" from Sam and Dean's "is not the same" or "you don't get it" concept. because Sam loves Cas, there's no doubt of that, they are best friends, brothers in arms, family...and yet, is not the same so then Sam goes "oh" like the pieces of the puzzle somehow fit now

do you guys ever think about, "The point is that they were here at all and you got to know them. When they're gone, it will hurt, but that hurt will remind you of how much you loved them." because I fucking do!

Goddd what Dean goes through with Cas in seasons 6-8 particularly makes me so insane
strained relationship. Defending Cas against Sam and Bobby despite his own suspicions because Dean has faith in him. Cas' betrayal. Cas becoming God. His subsequent death. Mourning him. Finding Cas alive, but with no memories. Seeing him get his memories back, but not getting a chance to talk about what happened because Cas takes on Sam's hallucinations. Going to purgatory. Getting abandoned immediately. Searching for Cas for a year. Finding Cas and immediately learning he stayed away on purpose. Thinking he failed to get Cas out of purgatory. Thinking he's hallucinating him. Cas comes back. He tells Dean that he chose to stay and Dean falsified memories to make it his own fault. Cas is back, but he's acting weird. Again. Dean knows and prays to him anyway. Cas almost kills him for the angel tablet. He then heals Dean and leaves without any explanation. Cas comes back. He attempts to repair their relationship, then immediately goes off with Metatron to deal with heaven. Cas tells Dean he's sealing up heaven forever with himself in it. He will probably be killed. Dean doesn't ask him to stay. Can't imagine why.
Sam is dying, and Dean prays to Cas. None of whats happened matters, none of what Cas has done matters. He just needs him there. Even now, he has faith in Cas.
Cas is human now. He can't hear him.
Sidenote: i am NOT saying that dean didnt do anything wrong in their relationship in these seasons, or that Cas didnt have real and even justified reasons for alot of his actions. This is j what im rotating in my brain rn, and i wanted to list it all out for maximum brain worms <333

actually probably the instantly dying component was essential to cas reaching that level of true happiness. like he knew that whatever dean’s reaction to his big gay love confession it would make him spectacularly miserable so getting to immediately and permanently bounce made the whole thing happy instead of incredibly stressful
anyway so here’s cas’ ranking of outcomes from most to least likely:
1. dean says nothing but radiates disgust. cas leaves the room sobbing. they never discuss it again. cas is miserable
2. dean makes a joke that’s self deprecating and also homophobic. cas says nothing. they never discuss it again. cas is miserable
3. dean says something violently homophobic. cas says nothing. they never discuss it again. cas is miserable
4. dean says something violently homophobic. cas defends the gays. dean punches him. they never discuss it again. cas is miserable
5. dean reacts with physical violence. in the resulting struggle cas accidentally kills dean. cas is miserable until sam murders him in revenge
6. REDACTED but rest assured cas is miserable
7. dean reciprocates his love. they enter into a relationship and continue to treat each other terribly. cas is miserable

We're watching s11 eleven and we got to the episode where Hannah dies. My bf was very surprised to see that they kept romantic undertones to cas and hers relatonship even when she was in a male vessel.
When she was killed, he looked at me and went "of course they had to kill her now that it was a gay presenting thing". I was already starting to sweat.
Then, he glared at me and said "I'm 100% sure they're gonna kill cas in the last season so they don't have to address whatever gay thing going on between dean and him".
Let me tell, you I had to pull the most difficult pokerface of my entire life.
