guy who is being so normal about the new additions to their profiles. i think abt midoris initial infatuation with his art slowly developing into appreciating yuzuru himself as a person and idol to the point he worries about how he sees him (ex: a bit of home party and in workplace survival rules) sometimes thats a lie i think about it a lot. and yuzuru learning to enjoy art just for the sake of drawing!! seeing the lets try diy story where he doesnt even refute drawing on midoris desk and was only worried that his doodles might cover up the mascot design compared to how discouraged he usually would be in earlier ! stories. everything to me i adore their dynamic if that wasnt obvious by *gestures to basically everything*

Mixed feelings! Glad it has an anime now and that ppl are enjoying it, because its really good!

I myself think its annoying when ppl are like "im gatekeeping x media bc its important to me 😡" so thats not how I feel on the other end. It has impacted lots of ppl so if it can get a bigger reach and impact more, thats good. ^_^

if i did not have the time or energy or resources to read it, I would've hated feeling alienated just bc it became a favorite media of mine after the anime came out

I need it to not get so popular that in a few years I'm hiding the volumes from my shelf because its an embarrassing, beat to death thing thats present in every store, backpack, socks, sweater that looks like characters clothing, funko pops, etc. something i cant even enjoy anymore bc its been wrung dry and overexposed and misinterpreted, "of course u like it EVERYONE likes it!" and now I'm tired of it, and wouldn't want ppl to associate me with it LOL 🧿🧿🧿

I should explain what Bubble Beam Cafe is but it’s a small cafe in Sinnoh (somewhere) based entirely off the Piplup line. The silverware, food, drinks, and snacks, are all based off such. Anything you can think of has a penguin slapped on it. The uniforms are blue and there are a couple pkmn who work there, too. If you have a Piplup/evo on you, you get a discount/stuff for free

They also sell plushies of you-can-guess. They’re all exclusive to the cafe and come in cute little costumes. Figurines as well. You can even buy costumes for yourself and your pkmn to match the plushes. You can buy Piplup jackets, shirts, coats for yourself. This is all on the second floor of the cafe

The funny thing abt working as a merchandise vendor is now I get free reign of the backs of all the grocery stores and I can tell how questionably they’re ran just from how their shipping/receiving area looks
