The Pearl Clan witnesses Ingo mourning the memories he just can't seem to recall. The Diamond Clan witnesses Emmet concealing the past that he fears would alienate him. Both groups are aware that something is suspicious, but don't know how to approach it when considering all of the other strange things currently occurring within Hisui and the interests of their individual clans.

Akari forms separate bonds with both brothers as she investigates who they are and what they mean to each other, but will it be too late to bring them back together after months of secrecy and poor communication? Or can Ingo and Emmet's brotherly bond endure even through hardships beyond what they ever could have imagined before?

My two cents on the whole 'ride Pokemon aren't nobles' debacle with PLA; I frankly think its kinda dumb that they made a big deal in game about the Ten Pokemon that fought with the Ancient Hero... but only treat half of them as worthy religious figures for whatever reason.

I've always approached it as there being two different levels of Nobles - The Greater/Offensive (aka the canon Nobles™️) and the Lesser/Defensive (aka the canon Ride 'mons). The Offensive ones are those that would take battles head-on to keep it far away to protect the Clans whereas the Defensive would focus on directly keeping the Clans safe. Hence why they would over time become the Ride 'mons, as they would carry people safely away from the dangerous battles.

The Ride mons might get a little less direct respect overtime because the common person is simply more familiar with them, more chummy, compared to the others who keep their distance and cause people to fall back on overly respectful to make up for any discomfort. But they are ultimately all still Nobles at the end of the day.

Of course, this is just my fanon take. It certainly is my approach for the Catching Trains fic (not that its been of much focus lol). But it's my sandbox too so I figure I'll build castles the way I like.

Was finishing off my sketchbook and decided to draw my 2 favourite noble pokemon and experiment with how to draw them! They both are very fluffy in their own way, I love drawing fluff on things!

I will say Wyrdeers horns are weirdly difficult at certain angles, everything else about him is easy! I love his face, good grandpa deer.

Snealser, everytime I do a drawing of her, I feel like she changes somehow and I can never figure out why, I always think I have her and then nope! And what's a Sneasler sketch page without sneaslings to go with her? XD

A few more scattered doodles as I was trying to figure out how I wanted to draw Ingo (and the rest of the pearl clan but sshh he was easiest and fire is fun)

Had to draw him facing off against Lady Sneasler because of course she would man handle her man thing into being able to hold his own. They’re having a blast.

electrode! why a centipede? because apparently the adult ones conduct electricity! (its was either that or the Daddy Long Legs and this one made more sense) also they sometimes have a bit of a Time and spin around in circles. its very funny.

The whole Goldi kidnapping Ingo causes Ingo to remember Emmet how siblings should actually treat each other in his opinion.

The two Sneaslers are yowling harshly at each other and both pulling on Ingo intently. He’s stuck in the middle, and all he can think about is how this very much feels familiar to him, but he can’t remember why.

Ingo and Emmet both fought over a specific train toy a lot as children. That was, until they broke it in half when they yanked on it so hard.

Suddenly, Ingo feels a little nervous being tugged on in opposite directions like this.
