A Crimpella — VoicePlay music video

This is one of the more odd and creative things VoicePlay concocted early on. They turned a collection of phonations, sound effects, nonsense words, and foreign language lyrics from two dozen songs into a delightfully goofy performance art piece. You will almost certainly recognize some of the samples. The set-up is a little drawn-out for my taste, but once the beat kicks in, it's off to the races.

Se Rau Bud is one of many 'alien songs' I've written and generated by assembling pleasing syllables into a working meter to get something that hopefully sounds like language. Sort of a Prisencolinensinainciusol by way of the Star Wars Cantina deal. Only instead of trying to emulate English to the Italian ear, I'm trying to make space french.

The Fox — VoicePlay music video

This novelty song was originally created as a promotional video for the Norwegian comedic talk show, I kveld med YLVIS (Tonight with Ylvis), and quickly became a viral sensation. So it's no surprise that the goofballs in VoicePlay immediately decided to record their own version. Especially since it gave them an excuse to wear silly hats in time for Halloween.

the dubstep breakdown and accompanying slow-mo movement

all the antics during the outro, particularly Eli "nipping" at Tony's finger

finally letting loose with their big dance moves for the post-credits remix section

I have a guess at when the guys were recording their audio parts. ^^

Layne's "kitty cat" quip at the end was a reference to an equally silly SNL sketch that aired just before they filmed this video.
