not to keep complaining about season four, but literally why does eddie munson exist as a character? this isn’t about joseph quinn. this isn’t about the character being overhyped. this isn’t about shipping. eddie has zero substance that couldn’t have been copy/pasted to a different characters plotline, namely: steve, jonathan, and will.

high school boy that’s seen as a freak or outsider by his peers? jonathan byers was already established as being this character for two entire seasons.

high school boy is ostracized after being seemingly involved in the murder of one of his classmates, wherein he was the last one to see her alive? also jonathan. the duffers so easily could have given him his own plot in S2 where the hollands believe he’s involved in barb’s disappearance/death because he was literally the last one to see her alive. you mean to tell me that between steve, tommy h and carol NONE of them told the cops that jonathan byers was creeping around that night? bullshit. in the original pilot draft callahan even outright calls jonathan a suspect because of the punk/metal/rock/whatever poster he has hanging up on his wall.

dustin has an older male friend? steve. commit to killing a fan favorite instead of inventing a new character to provide a budget version of the same concept.

male character whose character arc is “not running away”? they literally did this with steve in S1 but with more impact, no cheap death, and more subtlety. tommy h literally screams at steve to “run away, just like you always do” and steve almost does exactly that at the end of S1, but comes back to save nancy and jonathan, completing that brief arc.

male character has ties to music to be relevant to the “music saves people” theme of the season? jonathan and will are both right fucking there. their thing in S1 was music.

steve gets another guy his age to bond with and they slowly realize they were wrong about their previous judgements of each other? jonathan. fucking. byers. this would have been full circle after jonathan expressing his dislike of steve while monster hunting with nancy in S1.

implied shitty dad? jonathan and steve???

literally why does eddie exist? what function does he provide that other characters couldn’t do, or haven’t already done in the past? duffers stop bloating your cast with unnecessary characters challenge when

bear with mee, pavilion bukit jalil.

came across this noodle place over the weekend when we were at pavilion bukit jalil after buying stuff at nitori. the noodle place has a really cute bear theme and the noodle looks appetizing so we decided to give it a try.

ordered the noodles with creamy soup and budae jjigae ramyeon with lemon ribena in a bear bottle and a snack platter to share. the creamy soup is quite flavorful and has a very comforting taste, i love the thick glass noodles, as it has a really bouncy texture so it is very enjoyable to eat. there's quite a lot of ingredients depending on what you choose, but definitely very filling. the bowl also has a cute bear in the middle, making the dining experience more fun.

it's definitely a nice find, simple yet enjoyable meal. the ribena drink was too sweet and quite pricey though, but the bear bottle definitely was the main reason why i picked it. XD

Some days ago I bought this nice orange/yellow hoodie.

I like the "heterogeneous distribution" of the orange and yellow.

Today I attached some patches:

a patch with Euler"s identity/equation

a patch with an ironic dictionary-like explanation of the word Recursion (in german) [Recursion (Latin) see: Recursion]

a patch with the Fibonacci spiral, a patch with the flower of life pattern, a patch with a dodecahedron

AND - At the hood I attached a patch with some lyrics by the somewhat pagan-ish/shamanic-like band Heilung. [It is from their first live album LIFA (Opening ceremony) - Beware that the music by this band might have trance-inducing effects.] - This quote might appear like having a huge religious character. Yet, I don"t interpret it as such. It is an additional interesting plot twist to interpreting all the patches I have attached on that hoodie.

The lyrics on that patch:

"Remember that we all are brothers, All people, And beasts and trees, And stone and wind, We all descend from the one great being, That was always there, Before people lived and named it, Before the first seed sprouted."

How I interpret these lyrics: I ignore all details and think about the main principle(s) stated. According to that method, I translate these lyrics to:

"We all stem from the same. (->Darwin"s evolution ) We are all connected by the same rules of nature, and we all emerged by the same rules of nature. (This is difficult to explain and summarize... in short, I refer to interactions in dynamical systems and emergence. Rules of nature include laws of physics and all other sciences.

These laws of nature could be imagined as guiding principles for the metaphorical game of life, like a vague instruction how life should uncoil itself. )

These rules of nature already existed before we could discover them (alias "before we named them")"
