If you love the wacky Disney horses? If you like Disney type songs that will make you laugh & cry (and I did) If you like a normal world, clashing with cute insanity?... then omg watch this. I'm sure it was made by a frustrated wana be Disney artist.

Story: Horse is a War-Horse, and she and her young Rider are fleeing monstrous creatures with an artefact, when the horde catch up to them, and Horse ends up in another rainbow world, and all she wants it to get back to her rider, and a war-horse and a rainbow world don't mix as shes pulled into a little crazy Centaur herd who agree to help her find Rider... and omg it's a journey.

It was VERY enjoyable, and I will say it does have a happy ending! but if you dont like 'Comfortable Dug', then you're lost XD

If you can, watch it!

watching this indian drama called 'the royals' on netflix which has some modern brigerton type vibes going on (sorryyy i don't watch many foreign dramas these days to compare to) and the heir to the throne rocked up to his dad the king's will reading and presented his grandma with a gift of edibles lmaoooo

Oh, this book is catnip. No wonder everyone recommends it! It's so tiny I absolutely did read it all yesterday. It's got a hefty seasoning of my favourite tropes (sad abused child leaves home forever to Do Art and find a better family, plus telepathic animals, yeeeeeah that's the stuff!) and some tasty worldbuilding to boot.

Pern is really Ireland But With Dragons, huh? Just a lot less green. Love that the schooling is done through harper songs. I would've enjoyed school a lot more and probably retained a lot more if more learning was done through rhythm and rhyme, gotta say.

Menolly seemed to have a bit of that 'not like other girls' vibe but it dissipated once she got to Benden Wyr. Her friendship with Mirrim was cute! I didn't have any Kylara or Brekke-level complaints for this one.

9/10, knocking a singular point off for being too tiny and not terribly complex.

I never knew this, but i love it!! Every time that Vinnie Pasquantino gets on base, they release a sasquatch into left field because his nickname is Pasquatch. I love that!! Baseball has some of the weirdest and most enjoyable traditions of all sports, in my opinion. And the fans are a bit out there, too, as you can see every time I go to a game dressed like a judge!! I love baseball!! ⚾️ ❤️

Alright so, I'm reading Long Live Evil and I like it so far! But, I have some issues with it.

1) The world building is somewhat vague, and tbh so are the characters. However this is halfway through so this is subject to change! So far I wish we had gotten more exploration of Rae's feelings being in a new, healthy body (she died of cancer), or about leaving her sister and the rest of her family behind. I know this book is somewhat irreverent/tongue in cheek but right now only some of that really hits and it feels a bit. Shallow. It's very funny in places but it sometimes it feels like the humor (which sometimes is just not funny) is the only thing there.

2) The internal logic for the story seems somewhat loose? It's not inconsistent, just a bit... wonky.

For example: Rae not realizing/noticing that Emer hasn't actually done the vow, when Emer is one of the main people she needs to do it, and there was no distraction/event or a lot of other people in the room. It was literally just her, Emer and Key.

Rae often just...assumes things that she really has no basis or reason to assume. For instance, that one of the characters is actually dead because he failed to do a certain something, when he's obviously not dead. Or that antagonist and villain are the same thing.

She also seems to have a really poor and narrow understanding of storytelling (especially how villains are in stories) which is fine, I'm just confused as to if that's what the author was actually going for? "When her whole life collapsed, Rae still had books. " From the blurb makes it seem like she was an avid reader. That could just be my misinterpretation though and her getting a better understanding of storytelling could be character development. Overall she just doesn't seem like she thinks things through.

3) Why must it be mentioned how big her tiddies are at least once a chapter? Seriously, We get it you have a heaving bosom. I wouldn't mind it except it's mentioned at the weirdest times? Like she's about to die and thinks about how big her tits are. I would also like to mention that having big tiddies is not inherently seductive, but the way it's written here, that seems to be the case. "Of course Rahela is a seductress/whore, she's got a great rack." It's just weird. Granted this may be commentary about how this happens irl but I think it missed the mark tbh.

4) So far, as Otome Villainess Isekai goes, there's not really anything "new." It's all twists/tropes/setups I've seen before. Which is totally fine!!! I was just hoping that there would be something new since this is a different author/medium.

That said, I like it enough to keep reading! I want to see the journey Rae goes through and I want her to succeed. The concept is so fun because I LOVE Otome Villainess Isekai. It's funny enough that I genuinely laugh and I do enjoy the characters, specifically Emer and the Cobra. I also think the setting is fun and hope to learn more about it!
