Silly question, but do you associate rarity and twilight, and maybe their relationship, with any songs? A little on the nose, but I kinda associate rarity with rio by duran duran.

I do! I have an entire playlist for them, but it also varies between AUs.

TELverse is the one that has most songs, like "King" by Lauren Aquilina and a few other from the Colombia band Morat.

Another I can think of is Classic by MKTO, but that pretty much fits any Rarity ship lmao

Hello! It has been a while, hasn't it? (And apologies for how long this took - the playlist was finished the day you sent the ask, I just forgot to actually answer the ask 😅)

Right, so this is the link to the YouTube playlist and this is the link to the Spotify one! I'll put a little explanation of why I chose each song underneath the readmore.

Far From the Home I Love from Fiddler on the Roof is just such a Lúthien song. It has the whole forbidden love angle that her story has but also like a whole bit about leaving her home to be with the one she loves - I think the only thing not that accurate is the father being actually kinda chill with the marriage at the end of the song.

Call the Nightingale by Van Izak and Juniper Vale is about Nightingales but also about heartache and not being scared of the dark and just - the vibes are all there.

Everything Stays by Olivia Olson (from Adventure Time) just feels like a song that could be about the mortality vs immortality aspect. Or else the way Doriath is the same due to Melian's girdle and Lúthien is the first thing to properly change and she is that ever so slight change. I'm not certain on this song, the vibes are just there.

If I Die Young by the Band Perry is a song I cannot actually defend. I just like it and I think that it talks about death in an interesting way considering how Lúthien chooses mortality so has the short life but she chose that?

Sinners by Lauren Aquilina is a song about finding your way one step at a time and finding your place despite disapproval. And also has an aspect of us against the world which is sorta where Beren and Lúthien end up in some sort of way.

Lúthien's Lament by Eurielle - this is fairly self explanatory, I think, but I will say that I do love this song, it's a nice take on Lúthien's song to Mandos.

Timeless Place by Juniper Vale is a song I can't quite work out why I think it fits. It has something either to do with Doriath as a timeless place or Mandos or something else entirely. So this one is up to your interpretation?

The Song of Beren and Lúthien by The Tolkien Ensemble - I love all the version of this song that I've heard but this one remains my favourite. It was the first one I ever listened to and it remains how I hear the song every time I read it.

When did I create this blog? Around September last year (I guess). That was when I was searching for Killer and Healer script/novel translated in English, and since I found excellent reviews instead, I ended up creating this blog 'cause I too wanted to write.

Do I have any other blogs? Yes, unfortunately — I cannot access that anymore because I made that one around 2012 (when I used to be a feral kpop fan) and I was too young and too dumb to even memorize my password. Lmao.

Do I get asks? Yes, sometimes. Why did I choose my URL? Evil (because I want to always be reminded about Beyond Evil) and Moonlight (because the word reminds me of Jiang Yue Lou and Chen Yu Zhi from Killer and Healer).

Dream trip: I'll start with the local tourist destinations here in the Philippines, apart from my own, another Southeast Asian country would be Thailand (just because I'm always mistaken as Thai, lol) then I would love to travel around some parts of East Asia particularly Japan and Taiwan, and the most interesting part is visiting Europe (UK, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands — Amsterdam (the Anne Frank House), Finland, Greece, and Spain (because one of my best friends is currently living there), actually I want to visit the whole Europe. XD), also Algeria, Morocco, and New York City (at the public library where Ash died peacefully reading Eiji's letter 😭, like I'll be having a Bananafish adventure).

Instruments: used to play guitar, and now I'm starting to learn ukulele, and would love to try the piano in the nearest future.

Average hours of sleep: weekdays would be 6-7 hours, weekends would be no sleeping schedule or if I'm lucky enough, 3-4 hours (I know it's not good for the health but)

I know this year has been absolute shit, but we’ve finally made it. There’s 7 hours left for me but imma publish this now to begin to wrap up 2020.

I’m just gonna take the time to say a little thank you for everything that this year has given me.

Whether you’ve been here since the beginning with the very first chapter of Post Mortem, from the first request, from the first ever reaction, or whether you joined our little family yesterday, thank you for being here. I never would have expected that in 6 short months so much would happen.

I read every single comment and tag that you guys leave and they all make me happier than I can explain. It may only take you three seconds to write and you may never think about it again, but I do. In fact, sometimes when I’m having a bad day, I go back through comments and tags on my fics and it never fails to put a smile on my face and lift my mood. I don’t think you know just how much they mean to me. All of the asks I receive make me so happy, I’m completely blown away that you guys love my work this much and you give and send me so much love I promise to try and give you back just as much if not more.

I don’t usually make resolutions, much less share them, but I did this year, and my goal for 2021 is just to work hard and stay positive. I’m trying harder to look at the good things in life, even when it seems impossible. There’s a lyric in a song called “King” by “Lauren Aquilina” that goes ‘glass half empty, glass half full, well either way you won’t be going thirsty, count your blessings not your flaws’ and that sums up the way I’m trying to change my mindset. Instead of worrying that my glass isn’t full enough, I’m going to focus on how lucky I am to have anything in it at all.

@2-cute-4-school Andra, my first friend, my bubs I honestly don’t even know where to begin. You are kind, patient, non judgemental, funny and so much more that all makes you amazing.
