genuinely, I believe The Brobecks were one of the greatest bands of all time.

#the brobecks #even though my impression is songs were mainly written by one person with input from the others the end result was always so good #i think at least one of the former members is a producer now so that's probably some of it - production skills/talent #some bands you want back together so u can see them in person. the brobecks i want back together so they can gift the world with more music #from what i know most of the former members occassionally work together these days except for whisperhawk and dallon #... the two main songwriters. it's a shame whatever happened #though alledgely everyone involved in happiest nuclear winter is trying to remaster it?#their styles have diverge significantly over the years but i bet if they were to magiclaly make more Brobecks stuff it would come together #so awesomely #I said this #music

My chem teacher on the first day of school did a Safety Lesson (as you do) and taught us that a) unlabeled chemicals are bad and you should never do that and b) always assume the unlabeled water-like chemical is Not Water via demonstration with a base (iirc it was NaOH)

He then proceeded to turn around, put down the now pink Not Water on the table, and turn around holding TWO unlabeled test tubes of Not Water and yell "MORE UNLABELED CHEMICALS!!"

#he also made us chant the electron configuration 'loud enough so [math teacher across the hall] can hear it'#we got to like 3s² i think and she poked her head in like 'wtf'#my fourth period classmates said they could hear that shit down the hall #also i was in said math teacher's class for two years straight #and occassionally we'd hear clapping from the classroom i now have chem in #and we'd clap back #but i always wondered what they were clapping for in the first place #well #i found out on friday #we got privacy folders for our quiz #and we clapped #and the math class clapped back #i love chem <3

Not the gift being a Spencer-themed dartboard. I love Spencer cringing while confirming that Trina knows all about it because that heavily implies it was her idea. Spencer still quietly suffering for his ultimatum shenanigans in the pettiest of ways as he should.

In all seriousness, kinda feel like Trina and Spencer aren't getting enough credit for being one of the funnier couples on this show. First, making fun of their bad boy/good girl status with their couples costume and now making fun of their five minute breakup over the dumbest ultimatum alive with a Spencer dartboard. Just had a supremee awkward interaction and need to scream

This guy comes into my store and asks if I have a boyfriend I already hate when people just randomly flirt with someone who's working especially when it us me, I lie and say yes and he leaves. I am walking out of the mall and the same guy approaches, asks if he can give me his number and immediately I assume he hasn't recognized me somehow, but in a moment of awkwardness I fucking take the number??? And then he asks if I have a boyfriend and again I internally panic and lie again and hand it BACK. What the fuck I apparently can't talk to people.

the next thing i want to concentrate on in my art is space and composition, which is gonna be soooooooo annooyiinggg without a formal education. im gonna have to watch tutorials and stuff uugghh

#good thing i love art so much nd its the only thing i will never abandon #i change and change but it will always be there for me #if any of you draw and have some tutorials you like lmk. i never even watched speedpaints. self-taught to a fault lol #my sister uses the same program as me and she keeps teaching me how to use it. i only use 2 brushes and the blend feature occassionally #im quite happy with my lines right now #i used to think of it in terms of 'i need to work on x aspect of the human form'#(hair. clothes. faces. anatomy. a few of which i could stand to revisit actually. hair especially hair is horrible)#but a few years ago i dedicated myself to composition and pose a little more #best decision ive made i think my stuff is so much better than it has been #but it is 2d. i need planes #and as anyone who specialises in only figures will tell u ppl who do backgrounds are ur greatest envy #they say progress isnt linear... but i disagree.. i am better every year :)

Indian period films depict olden day beauty routines with a lot of grace and affection: watching it is seductive because the person is usually enjoying the process. In comparison, Hollywood films tend to project modern-day sensibilities onto these scenes and women are shown barely tolerating the process and having a hard time with corsets etc. That's just wrong; they made their own beauty concoctions, and every article of their clothing was custom tailored by themselves or a local seamstress. it's only when normal people give me music recommendations that I realize what strange and inexplicable music taste I have like wtf is wrong w me

#1 i cant do slow music and slow is anything that isnt decidedly fast #like 99% of taylor swift songs are too slow for me to stand #i need constant layered noise and vocals okay #2 if a song is in english it cannot be about love #just not my thing i cant sing along i dont like it #like chappell roan is very good. but i cant do it. too much love.#3 i need a concept like obvs if the song isnt about love its gotta be about something and its gotta be good #hence. all the other music i listen to. is typically about murder.#and combined with the need for speed we get. metal.#but i only like very specific mental typically industrial or like horror rap #so basically this means the only music i listen to in english is rap #i listen to metal in every language possible mostly european though #and KPOP.#i make exceptions to these rules occassionally like when the perfect song is around #like hot to go or espresso #or songs i liked when i was a kid #BUT ANYWAYS EXPLAINING THIS TO PEOPLE IS IMPOSSIBLE #SO I ALWAYS POLITELY LISTEN AND GO yeah thats good ahaha EVEN IF I HATE IT BC I KNOW #IM THE WEIRD ONE GJQBROQNRLQNFKS #anyways idk why i felt the need to share this but yeah fun facts about lauren #berryunho.txt

Tbh even if werehog was more feral and animalistic he would not hurt his friends without reason

The only time you could say he did that was when he first transformed in archie, and even then the dark gaia energy was fucking with his brain and made him think they were trying to stop him from doing the right thing (and trying to piss him off intentionally) when they were actually trying to help him. And it never happened again. He was just overwhelmed and the dark gaia energy made him perceive things in a threatening and scary way

If anything him being more animalistic would make him more outwardly protective and loving of his friends. That and easily spooked bc he's a hedgehog and should show more hedgehog behaviors

#ramblings #yeah i'm still thinking abt how ppl mischaracterize him as a feral bloodthirsty monster #pisses me off #also nobody seems to take advantage of the fact he's a hedgehog?#i mean i occassionally see him drawn rolled into a ball but not that much #like there's other hedgehog things they could apply to him. like a general nervousness #or him liking things that smell nice #or hissing! i always see him drawn growling and snarling but not hissing like hedgehogs do #i've seen ppl apply the kind of color blindness dogs have to him but not the general poor vision hedgehogs have #like have him not be able to see that well in bright light #make him squeak and purr when he's happy!#and make him eepy!! hedgehogs sleep 18 hours a day!!
